Terrible Service I have only used the service department at Bell Ford once. My diesel super duty broke down during my morning commute on a very cold morning. Unfortu I have only used the service department at Bell Ford once. My diesel super duty broke down during my morning commute on a very cold morning. Unfortunately, AAA refused to tow me to my normal mechanic and suggested this dealership. I suspected the diesel had gelled due to the very cold weather, and the truck acted as if it was starved for fuel. After looking at the truck, the service advisor recommended $4500 worth of repairs. The suggested repairs made no sense and didn't explain what happened to my truck. I asked if they checked the fuel filter for gel, and they did not. I refused this service and took the truck to my normal mechanic. By the time it warmed up, no problems were found. My normal mechanic agreed that it was just gelled fuel and no repairs other than a fuel filter were needed. I sent emails and regular letters to the service manager at the dealership and was completely ignored. I wasted $270 on diagnostics that were completely wrong and they refused to even discuss this. More
