Rude service manager The women I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and welcoming. It was 1:45 on Saturday of Labor Day weekend and I needed a bulb for my left front headl The women I spoke to on the phone was pleasant and welcoming. It was 1:45 on Saturday of Labor Day weekend and I needed a bulb for my left front headlight. She told me if I came right away they could help me. I was 2 minutes away and so I went. The young man who met me by my car was friendly and helpful. When I went inside the service manager was very rude and repeatedly let me know they were closing at 3 and made me feel that because I was a walk in he was annoyed. He asked me if I was aware that I had outstanding recalls that hadn't been addressed when I said yes and started to explain he rolled his eyes and said"I just wanted to make sure you were aware of them". I told him a close friend owns Napa Auto parts in Atlantic Highlands and he told me if the bulb was an LID it may cost around $80. When the service technician checked which bulb it was the manager told me it was the low beam bulb and they had 1 in stock but it "wasn't any $80! It would be around $250 plus an hour of labor which would be about $150 and would take an hour. When I hesitated he looked at his watch and said he needed a decision because they closed at 3! So I said I guess I have to. Then I called my friend from the Napa store and he said don't do it. So I changed my mind. He was annoyed and shaking his head saying (this is what you get when you try to help people!). I couldnt wait to get out of there and will never go back! More
