I paid good money for an extended warranty on my Ford escape but when I brought it in for service two different times I was made to wait more than a week to get the car back. Not impressed with being put at the bottom of the list for auto service. This last time on 24 August, I was given no estimate so since it was Thursday afternoon I figured I should wait until Monday to check on the status. It hadn't been touched. There was no response to my first two left messages. There has to be some kind of system for the buyers who have spent hard earned money on Ford warranties to receive better service than I experienced these past two cases. More
Avoid World Ford at all cost. Since purchasing our vehicle in 2019, we have had nothing but problems every time we take our vehicle for service. Automatic 3 day wait time (so yo Since purchasing our vehicle in 2019, we have had nothing but problems every time we take our vehicle for service. Automatic 3 day wait time (so you bring them your vehicle to check-in and then it sits on the lot for 3 days until they get to it - while you are out a vehicle). This does not include any time needed to order parts and fix the vehicle once the assessment has been completed. For this visit, I called because a check engine light was on and I thought maybe it had something to do with “needing” a 75,000 mile check-up. The check engine light was not documented in the initial phone intake but an 80,000 mile check up was. They said it would take 4 hours and I brought it expecting such (doubting, because we know how this dealer works). We just received our vehicle back yesterday after they had it for 8 days. For most people, this may not be a problem. But for a family of 8 that only fits into this vehicle, 8 days is a long time especially when 4 hours was the expectation. Also, the 80,000 mile check-up is basically an oil change, wiper fluid fill, and tire rotation (we had just had an oil change and wiper fill - which should have been caught based on the sticker in the windshield, but they didn’t check). Just changed perfectly good oil for no reason and tried to charge us for it. Again, this is not our first experience like this, but we hope it is our last because we will be avoiding World Ford at any cost! More
