This despite the breaking system on the vehicle not working as it should. Apparently they are not concerned with someone driving on what could be faulty breaks. We had the breaks repaired at another garage and yes it was worn break pads. As for the warranty we are currently using it to wedge open the door of our garden shed when we need to access it, as this is about all it is good for!!! My daughter-in-law purchased a c. one year old (2020) Forester. She was talked into purchasing additional warranties. She was told that they would cover the vehicle for "everything" for the next two years. The vehicle now has only 24,000 miles on it. She is having trouble with the breaks. Service center told me they had to be under 1mm before they were covered (later revised this to 1 1/2 mm). Then told me they should be changed at 2-3mm minimum. What good is a warranty for 1mm if they need to be changed between 2-3mm?? This is not stated anywhere on the warranty it simply says break pads covered. I spoke with them and that said they would call me back but have never returned my phone calls! More

I live in Long Island NY and obviously started looking for my new car at local dealerships. The more I talked to local salespersons, the more I was getting frustrated – they all were giving uncertain and controversial answers and I got the feeling that they are not eager to sell at all….. So I stretched my search to other states – NJ and Connecticut and lucky I am I contacted World Subaru and was put through to Mr. Girsh Berman. From the very beginning I realized that he is a highly motivated and experienced person but his approach was quite relaxed and there was no pressure from him. He took his time to answer all my questions in a highly professional manner. So during my first conversation with Mr. Girsh I decided not to shop around any longer and we sealed the deal. All the process was smooth and pretty fast, everything was done over the phone and in my favor. I want to thank Mr. Girsh once again – he is a true professional and staying true to his word.
