Dean Made My Corvette Dreams Come True! So for the last few years I have been thinking of getting a Corvette. I finally decided to take the leap and saw the perfect car come on the market at So for the last few years I have been thinking of getting a Corvette. I finally decided to take the leap and saw the perfect car come on the market at World Volkswagen. I immediately emailed the dealership through CarGurus and got a quick reply from on of the sales guys, Dean De Santis. Unfortunately because of work and the distance I could not come and see the car for 5 days. Needless to say I was dying! The corvette was the perfect color combo, year model, style, and low mileage. I did not want to let it get away. I emailed Dean what seemed like a million times checking in to see it was still available and with minute questions about the car. Dean was patient, helpful, and equally responsive. He reached out with details and kept asking if I had other questions, and even reached out the day I was coming to confirm I was still on. I was! I came, I saw, I bought it! Dean made the entire buying experience smooth and was truly interested in making sure I drove off happy than with any random purchase. Although the entire process from walking in the door to driving off the lot took 4 hours, my entourage of sisters and sister's bf were engaged at all times and were delighted to have tons of free snacks and drinks in the kitchen to keep our energy up. A few adjustments were made to the purchase price because the car had more than 500 miles more than the listing and an arrangement was set up for them to cut me a check to pay for a second key to be made because they only had one key for the car. All throughout, the experience was great for me to buy my first car, and most importantly, my dream car!!!!!! I love it and feel that I made a friend in Dean, who I would love to be the person to help me when I'm ready for my second car. I totally recommend working with Dean. My only constructive feedback is that at one point Dean was pulled away and the manager took over. He was a bit condescending with his tone in answering some of my questions and I think with better customer service training could be a star. Due to his tone, I decided instead to wait for Dean who seemed much more approachable and comfortable in the customer service space. I was a bit disappointed because after purchasing the car, the manager did not even come over to shake my hand and give me the congrats for doing business with them (like in some other dealerships and the way Dean did, who even threw in a congratulatory hug!). I would recommend that the manager seek out some customer service training in that aspect to make the buying experience that much more fulfilling and exciting. This still did not dampen my mood because everyone else was great (including Steve in financing and the guy that was training him and provided a ton of data to help me select packages that suited my needs in terms of future service for the car) and also I bought a Corvette, so that makes it hard for someone to steal your sunshine! Overall an amazing experience though!!!!!!!! More
