After further investigation of your concerns, the message for your AWD was not indicating any issue with the AWD system. Your vehicle had a check engine light on for an evap leak code, which was due to your gas cap not being properly sealed. When a check engine light is present, it will often bring up malfunction messages that are unrelated to the actual concern in order to alert the driver to get the vehicle to the dealer for diagnosis. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and hope this information is helpful.

I read your response but with all due respect you did not read my summary. The car computer told me that my AWD was disengaged and that I was driving with 2WD and to call my dealer. There was no prompt that my gas cap was loose. The prompt said AWD. There was no light prompt for the gas cap. So you are telling me that I can receive a malfunction alert that may be unrelated to the real concern. I think you need to reprogram the car computer to state the actual concern. If I had a gas cap prompt, I would have checked the gas cap myself and resolved the problem. Instead I am given misinformation and I had to take a 45 minute (one way)to drive to the dealer to resolved what I thought was a major problem. Your response to me was arrogant and not customer friendly. You basically did not answer my concern.
