Purchase of a Used Vehicle I needed a used pick up truck to replace the F150 XLT 4x4 I moved to another residence. I used CarGurus for the initial search and found half a dozen I needed a used pick up truck to replace the F150 XLT 4x4 I moved to another residence. I used CarGurus for the initial search and found half a dozen or so promising candidates. Purifoy was my 5th shopping stop. I wasn't entirely happy with the vehicles at the other locations; many hail damaged or overpriced w hi-mileage. The 2016 Ford I found at Purifoy met all my requirements, and was very true to the advertising in the CarGuru ad. Our sale person, Mr Tyler Hannemann, was outstanding. Dealing with Mr Hanneman was easy. I immediately saw a good deal in front of me before the first sales pitch was make, and it likely showed on my face. First, he did all he could to give us the best low dollar deal. I did a lot of homework on comps and KBB, and I'm convinced he gave us a GREAT deal. I'd seen several trucks of the same year but with many more miles, and for a higher price. Tyler went out of his way to accommodate us and MAKE THE TRUCK RIGHT for us. The truck (surprisingly) came without a trailer hitch. I needed a Class 3 hitch. Period. He had one installed for me. There was "sold as is" hail damage. He worked it out so that I shared the cost of repairing the hail damage with the dealer. It ended up being minimal extra costs to the vehicle, and I was impressed by how Mr Hanneman and the dealership made a great effort to make the vehicle right. The finance manager (Charles) was outstanding. We had fantastic credit coming in (and knew it) and a pre-approved loan from my credit union. Charles was able to beat out already good financing and saved us several hundred dollars. Extra credit points to the dealer for doing that. It took a couple days for the dealer and our sales agent to get the extra modifications and repair work done. I informed them I wanted it done correctly more than I wanted it done quickly. So in a couple days following our closure of the deal, the vehicle was delivered to my satisfaction. It was worth driving the extra miles out to Ft Lupton; and also good that I didn't bite on several of the other Almost-Good deals at other dealers. I lucked out and found a late model F150 with most of the bells and whistles, with low miles, one owner and in a spectacular deep blue color that I love. It was worth the drive. Thanks to our salesman, Mr Tyler Hanneman, for jumping through the flaming hoops for us. More
