So this is going to be short and sweet, the customer service and experience is not great our 2021 ram that we purchased in may had scratches and was promised to have the scratches removed and the nick r service and experience is not great our 2021 ram that we purchased in may had scratches and was promised to have the scratches removed and the nick repaired but after being to the detailer and Gerber 4 times, the repairs to the truck were messed up due to communication between Zeigler and the repair shop and even the seat insert had to be replaced on a vehicle that had 8 miles on it, now on top of this gerber found that there was a panel that was partially broken and is now waiting on a part to come in........ my wife and I as the customer have to now coordinate getting the repairs done correctly by Gerber since Phil the GM says that there is nothing else that he can do and has washed his hands of this. There is also the issue where change was taken out of the vehicle when it went to the detailer that everyone was pointing finger's back and forth on and also gas receipt not paid, i even asked phil to give me a report on the door issue so that i have it on record that it was reported but that did not happen, we have asked that this be escalated and have not yet gotten a response. hopefully someone will contact us to have this situation resloved. Email #1 Good Afternoon, While we wait for Gerber to begin the repairs on the vehicle for the 3rd time , I wanted to start the conversation regarding the value depreciation of the vehicle as it has had to be repaired multiple times since the purchase of the vehicle. We are looking to have the purchase price reduced due to the neglect, miscommunication,time lost without the vehicle and overall not so good customer service with a brand new vehicle needing to be repaired, We are open to a conversation on this matter and would like to have a timely response once you have received this email. Email #2 Phil, Thank you for your response stating " that per our last conversation I've done everything i can do, if you have something worked out with Gerber then that's who you'll need to deal with" , phil i will also respond with my statement of " the vehicles value has been lowered due to what was authorized as repairs through Ziegler, and regardless if something is worked out with the Gerber i believe that there is more that you can do as it should not be our responsibility to work something out with Gerber as we are the customers. you have just responded there's nothing else that you can do..... so this is where we will have to escalate this as this is the third or fourth time that you have said you are washing your hands of this, there have been empty promises that have not been met, and even when i stated that change was taken from the vehicle it was taken lightly. We currently are requiring your Regional Manager/Vice President to contact us regarding this matter, please contact me at the number below. More

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Ziegler. If you want to shop for a new car - don't deal with them!!! Don Hall (their salesman) flat out lied to me to get me in to their dealership, knowing that I had to travel 45 miles to get there. I found a nice brand new car that was advertized on their website for 41k. I called and learned that I don't qualify for 500 military rebate, so the price would be about 500 more. That's ok. I asked to send me a deal on the phone. I got the deal on the phone from Don with a screenshot that 41,868.91. I asked if that's with taxes and then Don confirmed - yes that's with everything. I calculated the deal to be about 2k below MSRP + tax which was good enough for me considering all rebates etc. I said sure I am coming over. I prepped on my end, got a nanny for my 3 kids and traveled 45 miles to Ziegler in Downers Grove. The car was waiting for me. Unwashed. And had 158 miles - I let it slide - could be just a few test drives, no biggie. I come for paperwork and then Don pulls a long pause and says that's 41,868.91 + your 10k down, making it 51,868.91. WOW! What a lie just to get me in. When I talked to Don's manager - he asked me with a smirk on his face - "Did you expect to buy a car for 41k?". I will never deal with Ziegler and recommend you to RUN from this place. More

Worst place I've ever dealt with! I had strong money down and a co signer with scores in the high 700s they lied to my father said since he had great credit it would be seen by 1 or 2 lenders. My dad knew better but they ruined his credit with over 21 inquiries and still counting! So he killed the deal because of that. So I come with another co signer with better credit, great income and had 2500 down and still couldn't get it done! They say they got a partial approval so they can get you to pay as much cash out of pocket as possible. Tell you to pick out your 3 top choices then come 2 minutes later with keys to test drive a vehicle you were not even interested in thats because it has issues or its been on the lot for 90 days or longer. I watched a finance representative tell the sales guy who just got him approved to not tell him what his payment is until he test drives the car! Your payment is gonna be over 500$ a month no matter how great your credit is and how much money you have. Its a bunch of mumbling kids that know your gonna be upset or mad so thier afraid to deal with you if they even get you approved! Again I got approved but when I came to pick up the car they said they sold it and had to start all over! I cant even say enough bad things about this place!! PLEASE PLEASE anyone reading this save your time and take your money to ANY OTHER dealership! All there false advertisements saying guaranteed approval/zero money down/work with any credit situation, etc. Is all complete BS!! I spoke to a Marie who is just a cold caller they swear you will drive away that day with a car but if you do get approved its for a car you dont want with a 550$ car payment or higher!! They ruined my fathers credit that he spent years perfecting, waisted 2 weeks of my time, got me approved for a car that had the check engine light on with a list of problems that I myself identified because they know absolutely nothing about cars, but said they would cover it under warranty so I was willing to get it on the fact they would fix it before I drove off the lot. They tell me I needed another thousand down so thats 2500$ down total so I tell them ill be back the next morning with the money and I find out they sold the car that I was already approved for!! Really??? I would give zero stars! I never do reviews but its my duty to warn anyone that even considers coming here! Warning warning warning!! Please save your money and go to any other dealership but here i promise you will regret it!! They waisted 2 weeks of my time knowing I was driving over an hour to thier dealership!! Go ANYWHERE ELSE!! More
