2016 Sierra transmission problems I contacted GMC service about transmission issues I was having with my truck, a 2016 Sierra 1500. After talking with the service advisor, my truck was I contacted GMC service about transmission issues I was having with my truck, a 2016 Sierra 1500. After talking with the service advisor, my truck was dropped off on a tow truck. It was diagnosed as I expected within a couple days. I purchased the extended service plan when I purchased the truck, and it paid for itself in this one visit. The vehicle was not purchased from Elhart. However, with this being the first claim on this contract/vehicle, the warranty company sent out an inspector to verify the concern before the claim was approved which took a couple extra days. Once the claim was approved, I was immediately set up with a rental car which was 100% covered by the service contract. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the work completed and the contact every step of the way from the service advisor (John Shannon) and the body shop/rental car rep (Brittany). The communication between departments and myself was great with a lot of hands involved. The only downside, to me, is the lengthy process involved when using an extended service plan. But, comparing the cost out of pocket with the cost using the service plan, it's well worth the money to me. More

I have multiple trucks and wanted to buy them for my fleet trucks. I then called the sales department and my sales person was no longer working at your store. I asked for another and they said they didn’t know and referred me the the manager. He said he would get back to me. I called three times asking for different departments and persons, each time I got the deer in the headlights response, even though I have purchased multiple vehicles and use your dealership to service all my fleet vehicles. I then found out where my old sales guy moved to and asked him about this seat cover purchase, he promptly took care of it used my points to buy my seat covers for my other vehicles. It’s going to be hard to buy more vehicles form your store when I only get good service if the sales person that I purchased my vehicles from is present. I’m really disappointed that service is dependent on one person not the whole organization More
