A car buying experience should be an exciting event. When a dealership takes this away I feel the need to share to potential customers. I went to Northtown Honda to look at a 2019 Kia Sedona. Test drive was okay. I had a concern with a beeping sound when I accelerated. The salesman, Eli said it was the temporary license plate covering a sensor. Phone charger didn’t work. He said my phone needed to be paired with the vehicle. Both of these later turned out to be wrong. They did put the van up on a lift as I requested. I was pleased with that. I did buy it and everything was okay. Picking up the van proved challenging. First delays all day over a supposedly faulty fob? The another one was found??? So Northtown got paid. And they sent me home with a faulty vehicle. They had their money and looking back, that’s all they cared about. Communication was sparse. Meeting the needs of a customer took back seat. The annoying noise was still there. The phone problem still exist. Power locks didn’t work. Although they said everything was checked and everything works. I have a total lack of respect to this dealership and the Northtown brand. My advice, go somewhere else where you are treated with respect. There has been zero communication from Northtown Honda. More

Went to this dealership as it is my local place that I've used before under a different name, and was ready to purchase. Salesperson tried to push me into buying a higher-priced model but when I was firm on used before under a different name, and was ready to purchase. Salesperson tried to push me into buying a higher-priced model but when I was firm on purchasing the base-model she told me there were none available anywhere. Not in the area, not in Rochester, none anywhere in the region, that I should get the higher-priced model. Left disappointed and confused. Didn't know at the time about the "dealer inventory" pages available online. Found them the next day and there WERE models I wanted at THREE other dealerships in the area! This salesperson flat-out lied to me! Unbelievable. Will never go back. I understand wanting to make a sale but LYING to me is not how to do that. Sad because under the previous name, I had purchased two vehicles from that place! More
Bought used Ridgeline. They gave me CarFax report printed out showing no accident or whatsoever. It turned out that the CarFax wasn’t reflecting the accident that they must have known that they (or whoever) out showing no accident or whatsoever. Unsatifactory service On 12/19/19 I had my 2017 Honda civic serviced for inability to get out or in drivers side door intermittently. This causes great distress as I need to get in and out crawling through the passenger side door. There is an obvious flaw and safety concern. The inability to get out or in my door could have a serious impact on my or my family's safety. The service managers solution to this problem was to advise me to "not wash my car in the winter". This is ridiculous and irresponsible on the part of this manger and dealership. So one would assume that in your advertising for a Honda, that it is stipulated that we have nice vehicles, but you cannot wash them in the winter!!! This problem with the door has occurred before. When initially taken in for service , I was told "well it works now, so can't do anything with it". I accepted this at that time, but honestly this whole situation is asinine. I attempted to contact the Dealership Manager and was told he cannot be contacted. This also seems asinine. I was told specifically that it "WILL NOT BE FIXED, due to it being a weather related problem". This is beyond unacceptable.This problem will be explained to the corporate office, as well as the inability to contact a dealership manager, which also is ridiculous. More

Quickly turned into a not so nice purchase When you purchase a 2 year old vehicle that is over $20k and you are told that all brakes and rotors are at or above 50% and they are actually shot an When you purchase a 2 year old vehicle that is over $20k and you are told that all brakes and rotors are at or above 50% and they are actually shot and corroded, when they were not honest about having financing set up after signing all documents and yet sell your trade in immediately, and then 3 months later after finally getting financing straightened out they ask you to give them $1000 check signed to Zeiglar, and when they don't want to pay for the fix to the brakes and rotors because you are not comfortable bringing the vehicle back to their shop to fix it because you can not trust any thing they say...... yes, stay far away More
