If you're going to take the gamble by buying a used car, you should do it right…Do the research and check out everything that you can on independent web pages about the dealer! That is why I felt from my first call to ICars Chicago, that I was at the right place! ICars Chicago had 55 reviews (some short stories, some lengthy reading and a few essay quality reviews of previous buyer’s experiences and satisfaction from A to Z!!! Because I am in California, (I particularly noted how many satisfied clients ICars Chicago were also Out of State clients), I knew that I had to rely upon the eye, the nose, the dexterity and the honesty of the owner and the crew! Without asking, the Carfax report on the C55 was emailed to me…Great start!!! After answering a slew of email questions from Craiglister/Autotrader/Cars Guru flakers who all had a million stupid questions but yet didn't have their life together enough to pull the trigger, I decided I had had enough. Barry and the guys at iCars bought the car sight unseen and didn't care that it wasn't smogged in California and had the normal minor blemishes that a car over a decade old has. They didn't haggle or insist that I make any minor repairs that would add to my cost and instead offered me a fair price and promised to make it easy and fast. They followed through with everything they promised. Although I was sad to see my car get loaded up and taken away to live in Chicago, I appreciate the ease and peace of mind they guys at iCars created since this was my first time selling a vehicle to a dealership. I would use them again and recommend them to anybody who wants to sell a car with ease and get a fair offer that beats CarMax. I had never heard of this dealership before, so I went online and read every review I could find on Barry, Afrim and ICars Chicago. I was pleasantly surprised to see every review was positive! I don't think I have EVER found a product( hotel, car, cruise, Ebay,etc) where every review is positive. From my first phone conversation with Barry, I felt as though I was talking to a friend, not a salesman. I explained to Barry that I would have to take it on faith that everything he and his brother Afrim told me about the car was factual and truthful, since I live 1,100 miles away from ICars Chicago, and couldn't travel to their dealership to inspect or test drive the car myself. Well, my 2010 Audi A8L is sitting in my garage and it's everything ICars said it would be. Furthermore, when I asked for compensation for the missing spare tire, Barry apologized for the oversight and didn't hesitate to reimburse me the amount I requested for the Audi factory rim and tire. When I requested a certain shipping company to deliver the car, Barry assisted me with all the logistics and took additional pictures of the car at pre-delivery at my request.
