Service with a Smile - Sunshine
John H. in the service department was a pleasure to work with - polite, professional and accommodating. Will be back the next time my car needs to be serviced.
Great place for service - sailfast, CR-33
Surprised by low price for oil change with compete inspection of tires and brakes plus car wash. Service person went extra mile to generate tire options. Alway appreciate nice desk for working and good coffee while I wait.
2016 Highlander becomes very darty when driving in windy con - Highlander
We have a 2016 Toyota Highlander that is very very darty in windy conditions, the steering is very responsive and drives good under normal conditions but when the wind starts blowing you better pay attention the steering is so sensitive and light when the wind pushes and you need to correct I find that you over correct very easily. I think Toyota need to program the electric power steering to become stiffer at highway speed to help prevent over correcting in windy conditions.
oil change and tire rotation - sbarsallo
They got me in right away. They were very nice and quick. They explained everything to me as far as what they did. They also informed me that my next service was free.
Lies effecting finances - Hphillips527827
If I could give this place a zero I would. We were lied to 3 years ago about our lease mileage even though we were 100% up front about the kind of mileage we knew we would put on our car per year. (I work in Boston) We were told with 100% confidence by the sales person that the mileage would not matter if we lease OR bought another vehicle from Toyota of Smithfield. Imagine our surprise today when we walked into the dealership with the hopes of getting a newer vehicle and hopefully lowering or keeping our payments the same and being told that low and behold our mileage does matter and to be able to lease a new vehicle it would be over $500 per month, or our other option to buy out our current vehicle for $25 MORE per month than what we are currently paying. Had we known all of this 3 years ago when we were told by the salesman that leasing would be our best bet to keep our payments low and where we were comfortable we may have made a different more educated decision. We were completely screwed by someone desperate to make a sale. Now 3 years later we have to make some hard financial decisions because we were lied to 3 years ago. It is unspeakable that when directly asked a question MORE than one time that you could sit across from someone and lie to their face. I highly suggest finding another car dealership.
Positive experience dealing with Mr. Malhoit at McGee - Nick's Gram
Mr. Malhoit is open and honest, can be trusted for his expertise, he goes out of his way to accommodate and answer any questions posed.
Jason was professional - Tacoma Yay
We recently bought a Tacoma from this dealership and worked with Jason Chingras. Jason was professional, an attentive listener, took time to hear us out and was not pushy. The only disappointment was with the finance person ( Mr. Flores??) who had more time to "talk" to his printer than to us. If it were not for Jason, we would have taken our business elsewhere.
Waste of time - Mglaxx34
Ive been a customer for years and always been happy with service until I had to deal with Kevin Fitzgerald. I took my truck in to get frame replaced and it was one thing after another. First Kevin calls to reccomend a few repairs that should be done which I agreed to, he said no problem everything would be done by end o of day. I stop by the next day after dropping off rental and getting shuttle over just for a service employee to tell me my truck wont be ready for a few more days.
When I finally got my truck back I noticed that the shifter was very loose and slipping into neutral. I contacted Kevin and he said to bring it in. When I brought it to Lynch Kevin kept telling me they didnt have to touch this area of the truck and they were not responsible for anything that is occuring. After arguing with this guy he finally agreed to fix it but they would need to take apart the shifter and see what is going on.
After picking up my truck once again the shifter slipage was fixed by now none of yhe geara illuminate. I called kevin again but didnt hear back for over a week from anotherserviced coordinator he pawned the problem on. They said to bring in the truck and they would fix it no problem.
I go in ready to finally get this over with and they say once again that they are not reaponsible and never had to go into that area( which they needed to previously to diagnose problem) and that it isprobobly a light bulb that needs replaced . They could take a look but they would charge me 180 bucks.
It was at this point when I took my truck back and to a trusted mechanic to find out they have caused a lot more damage than just a light bulb.
I would advise anyone having any issues with this place especially with frame replacement to contact Toyota directly and make them aware as well as BBB and consumer reports.
Fantastic customer service! - KP
Amanda Botto was amazing--she not only knows about the features of the cars but she is kind, honest and doesn't try to "sell" you. I will always remember how we were treated--thank you Amanda for telling me about the other car I didn't consider initially. Also, finance mgr Ben Mayo is awesome--doesn't just stop at any APR--he keeps working till he gets the best one for his clients! He knows his stuff--he's quick but also accurate.
Excelent - Nen
The service was done in a short time, and the service advisor was very polite and respectful
The waiting room was clean and had a TV and Donuts
Excellent service - Kimberly4
I went in for an oil change and scheduled maintenance and was very pleased with the service that I was provided with. Everyone was very friendly and I felt very comfortable being there.
BEST Volvo service center in southern NH - Peggie123
These guys are the most honest out of the Keene, Nashua and Manchester Volvo dealer repair shops. They don't try to make you think you need more than what you need. They give you a great price, have a good waiting area (desk workspace, too), and let you pay in installments if you need that. They do the job right the first time. Great people.
Buying new tires every 6 months and we don’t know why - Never Again
2015 xle highlander 24k miles purchased Feb 2018 clean car fax. paid 30k traded in a 2009 Venza xle with 55k
Part of the agreement was 4 brand new tires, remove a dent and if we were not satisfied we could get our money back. All lies.
After the purchase agreement was signed and before we picked up the car we called back to go over a few things with the finance guy we worked with. It took 3 days to get a response. We were told so many stories down to the Finance guy no longer worked there. Lies
We knew then we didn’t want the car as we were getting a bad feeling working with them. They said we could not cancel the agreement even though we were told we would be able to if we were not happy. Lies
Finally get the car on a Friday night. Bring it home 50 miles away. New tires…no alignment. Dents still there. Bring it back Sunday and we get paper work showing the engine has been rebuilt! WHAT !!!! No word from ANYONE for 4 days. We call and no one knows where the car is or if had been worked on. Pissed off, we drive down there that same day and poof the car is there and all set.
Dent still there, car still appears to not be aligned. We bring the car home, go to NTB and was told it still needed an alignment. We get it done.
Fast forward, 5 months 5k miles later we get an oil change. The car is making this sound while driving. Bring it back and were told our brand new tires were cupped but since they were in the back we couldn’t hear it. They rotated them to the front as part of the oil change and explained that is why the noise is noticeable now.
Now we need to replace 4 brand new tires. We reach out to Ira (Willy ) and let them know. They’re response “We do not use the validity of another service dept not affiliated with us.” (We went to Toyota Prime not some side shop) With that said, we bring to the car to Ira, they see the cupped tires and blame it on the NTB alignment. This car has had 2 alignments in 5 months. We are not driving on dirt roads and back streets. There is obviously something wrong with the CAR that is causing the alignment to knock out of whack. So basically we need to buy new tires every 6 months instead of them looking to see what is causing the alignment not to stick? The engine had to be rebuilt for a reason. There is no telling what happened during that process. (wish we would have known about the engine before the purchase)
We’ve learned once they get your money they could care less about you and if there’s anything wrong, it is your fault! WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER !!! They do NOT KEEP THEIR WORD. Had I looked at these reviews first we would have never entertained IRA Toyota in Danvers. Save yourself and use another Toyota dealership. You will have a better peace of mind for it!
Signed, Buying new tires every 6 months and we don’t know why !?!?
If you have to work with Willy be prepared for his condescending tone!
place to go - lakeman
The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and very fun to deal with. Cary Hickey ( salesperson )was very helpful and did her best to make sure our experience was great. She got us the deal we wanted and was not pushy like some at other dealerships. We would gladly do business with her again.
Could not get my BRAND NEW TOYOTA ready!!!! - toyota buyer
There's a reason this dealer is #35 out of 36 rated dealers on DealerRater! I bought a brand new 2018 Camry with 47 miles, they said it would be ready the next day for pick up. "We'll have it all ready when you get here." The car wasn't ready! We sit around for an hour, THEN they tell us our BRAND NEW CAMRY was in an accident, it won't pass Toyota's safety inspection!!! Pulled out of the deal, it was a nightmare. I'd give them -5 stars if I could! Good luck here....
Went in for an alignment, left with a melted axle boot. - Corey
I would look elsewhere for repairs to your vehicle. If there is any issue whatsoever, they will not take ownership of their wrongdoing and accuse you of setting them up. After taking my truck to get aligned it left in worse condition than it showed up. The tech, Advisors, or even the General Manager would not own up to their mistake and wouldn't do anything about it. Over an $80 alignment that didn't actually align my truck, nor a $100 axle. Discovering an issue after my truck was "aligned" I brought it up with my service advisor and he was very quick to blame me for the issue, lying about the tech utilizing heat to free a tie rod during the alignment, I can only imagine wasn't paying attention and melted my axle boot which was directly behind the tie rod. After I noticed fresh axle grease all over the right side of my truck, the SA also said "The tech noticed it before" but not only was it not brought to my attention, I wasn't even recommended a fix, or solution for what would be a freshly torn axle boot that the Tech would have undoubtedly brought up because it would have been virtually dripping as he performed the alignment. There was no multipoint inspection performed despite my invoice stating it did, and then another employee chimed in stating that they put that on every invoice whether or not they are performed. The GM then told me "This sounds like a setup, I'm done talking to you." Being a service member I really don't have time to scam a dealership out of an axle and a free misalignment. Especially after trying to cover my own xxx, and over a <$200.00 part. I'm incredibly disappointed that from top to bottom they aren't truthful about their practices and won't alleviate the issue to make it right. My brief experience has proven to me that I have no faith in the service department, or management to do the right thing or tell the truth about something so insignificant.
Excellent, Low-Pressure experience - Krevlorne
We came to Route 44 Toyota by way of a TrueCar referral (They're the 2nd's closest Toyota dealer to us). We felt we were treated much more fairly here than the other dealership we visited, with more respect and less of the stereotypical car sales schtick. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Route 44 Toyota, and specifically Brian Olson to anyone shopping for a Toyota in the area.
Bait and Switch - DogLoverVT
Having lived in the area for my entire life. Alderman is notorious for getting people into their dealership and changing the terms of a deal. They will give you the lowest trade possible. You can have an exceptional used Toyota and get thousands less than if you go to another Toyota dealer. Their goal isn’t to sell new cars as much as too make a huge profit off of previously owner cars. I went in a few years ago looking for a new Tundra, and had an excellent Tundra to trade, same model etc. They told me it was in excellent condition, but offered almost 7000 less than another dealer. I put a deposit down originally because I hadn’t heard back from the other dealer. Once I did I called Aldermans and spoke to Josh Trapeni and asked for my card to be refunded and he refused to do it over the phone, stating we had to come in. I told him If he didn’t I would get the bank involved. I love Toyota, but this dealership is a complete joke. A bunch of losers that were only sport stars in high school and that is it. Go elsewhere-Keene, Claremont, etc you will find a better dealership that doesn’t dress up in costumes. Toyotas are quality vechicles, if you have to start doing that you know the dealership sucks.
They refused to listen to a noise my car was making - Ripped off by greentree
I went to this dealership because my car was making a gurgling noise and when I did they replaced the transmission computer but the car came back with two more prominent noises and when I went back They said they couldn't hear anything , so I said can I take ur guy for a ride like I did the first time I showed them them the noise.
(I had to show them the noise because they could hear the noise) so I made appt went back and they said we can't find a noise I said can I take ur guy again and show him? And she said.no he is busy..I couldn't believe my ears!!! I Am their customer standing there willingly wanting to show her the problem and she said no to me I totally couldn't believe it...The service lady Jessica then texted me and asked me to take my vehicle somewhere else for servicing!! I truly believe it did not need the transmission computer and they did it for the money from the warranty and caused two more noises but I don't know that for sure all I can say is who tells the customer know you can't show me what's wrong? And please don't come back not good business!!!
Terrible Experience - Shady Sales & No Honesty - Ramrock212002
Would never go back. Spent three hours talking with Ray and when I started asking about price, he said, "I don't do that. You talk to the finance guy when you go in the room." Finally got into the room and that guy thought we'd already made a deal. More waiting while they go find the sales manager. We agree on a price, shake on it, start filling out paperwork and he comes back into the room and says, "I'm sorry, I just can't do that price." We'd already agreed and started the paperwork! He apologized and said he'd be happy to sell me one model lower for the price we agreed to. I agreed to a nicer car at this price, why on Earth would I accept a lower model for the same price?? He asked if he could call me later to talk about another car and I told him he could (why not, never hurts to hear what they have to say), but he never called. Total waste of my time and absolutely no credibility, accountability or morals. If you want the stereotypical "shady car salesman," this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away!
