Once the new staffs came in, everything & everyone was great! Kim and front desk are very professional & friendly. They are definitely a keeper!

I was hoping they were a brand new business because none of them know what theyre doing. But apparently theyve been open for a few years.
First they forgot to get copies of our licenses so we had to send them pictures, no big deal. On the way home from the dealership the traction control light came on the dash and it started shifting strange with the rpms jumping. Then the check engine light came on. All on the way home from the dealership. Not such a big deal, they told us to bring it back so they can fix it. We brought it back, they got the lights to go off, then a half hour after leaving the traction control light came on and it started shifting weird again. At this point the owner starts telling us that we have to call the bank and tell them the car is running good so he could get his money from them, we didnt wanna give the bank false information so we waited until it was running good to call them . The owner said it couldn't wait and we had to call them right away otherwise we would lose our down payment and have to bring The vehicle back, I called the bank and asked them if that was true, they said thats not true. They said they could wait until its fixed. The vehicle is under warranty but we didnt trust them to fix it at that point. So we brought it to a local garage and paid to get it fixed. They did it with no problem. Owner was supposed to reimburse us but that hasn't happened. Then we realize its past due for an oil change. Had to go pay for that as well. While getting the oil change at a local shop I asked to to look it over and let me know if they think it will pass an inspection. They found a coolant leak and an oil leak, then showed me the inside of the tires were worn down to the metal so theres no way it would pass. All laws say that vehicles have to be sold with good tires. We put 2,500 down and will be paying for it for the next 4 years, we trusted that it would be good enough to pass inspection. I asked the owner if he would get us good tires and he wanted to wait until the bank approved the loan. 3 days before our temporary plate expired they contacted us amd said the bank still needed more information. We gave them what they needed but didn't get a response until the day that our tag expired. Now its been a week since the bank approved the loan and the dealership still hasn't processed our registration or provided us with a license plate. The owner doesn't wanna talk about the tires, and we just got a letter from the bank saying they still didn't get proof of our licenses. After we gave them our licenses to copy in person, then sent them pictures of our licenses They still haven't sent it to the bank. Owner and employees are incompetent and disrespectful. We have bought enough vehicles in the past to know that something is seriously wrong with this place. As a father with 3 kids I truly wish I wouldve went somewhere else and I wouldn't want to see anyone go through this. The owner also told me this is just one deal for him and really doesnt matter to him anyway, he told me when its processed they won't be able to mail the license plate to me, ill have to drive 2 hours to go pick it up on bald tires. I'm really hoping he will replace the tires when we get there but he hasn't said that he will. He just avoids the question. I've literally never left a bad review on anything in my life but this is too much.

I just had the WORST experience with a Toyota dealership EVER! This horrible experience was with the service department at Toyota of Massapequa in Seaford, NY. I had brought my car in to take care of a known issue that Toyota is well aware of. They are so aware of the issue that they have issued a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0116-20) to explain to their technicians on how to fix it. This issue is that the weather stripping around the sunroof starts to peel off and deteriorate. I wanted to have this taken care of BEFORE my sunroof starts to leak as the seals are already starting to leak. Mind you, it is Feb. 2021, and this is a 2018 Camry with under 34k miles. Oh yeah, I also purchased this car directly from another Toyota dealership as a CERTIFIED Pre-owned Toyota. With that certification comes a one year, 12k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, as well as the multi-year powertrain warranty. I brought my car in before this expired.
As part of the service bulletin, new weather stripping needs to be ordered, and the part number is listed in the bulletin. I did not want to have to wait at the dealership knowing that they would have to order the parts. So, I pulled into the service center drive-up and explained to the first employee that I wanted to have a service advisor or manager just take a look at the peeling of weather stripping so that they can order the parts and then I would schedule an appointment to have it replaced when they got it in. He brought me to the service desk where my problems began.
Dealing with SEBASTIAN, he would not just come out to take a quick look (would literally have taken less than 30 seconds to see these horrible weather strippings) He said it is a whole process and I would have to either wait with the car, or leave the car. I asked how long it would be, and he said maybe an hour or so. I asked if he would just come outside to take a look, it would literally take seconds, and he said no, that it was a process, that they werent just going to start ordering parts. Again, I stressed how quickly the observation would be but he still wouldnt look at the car. So I reluctantly said I would wait for the car to be looked at. While in the waiting area, I could see them drive my car to a spot and park it. BEFORE anyone came to look at the car, a service advisor ANGEL came up to me and asked me if I wanted them to give me a quote for the repairs. I questioned why I would want a quote for something that should be covered under warranty, and he said that they would not be covering it as it was a wear and tear item. I told him that I believed him to be wrong, that I had the TSB explaining that there was an issue with the part. He told me I was not going to be helped, and because I did not purchase the car from them, that he wasn't willing to help me. I told him I was dumbfounded that I would not get the same courtesy that someone who purchased a car from them would get. He suggested I contact the out-of-state dealership that I had purchased the car from and tell them "that they owe me for weather stripping." With that I asked for me keys back, said I would never return to this dealership, and left. Shortly after leaving, SEBASTIAN at the service desk sent me a text message asking if I had any questions. I said I did, I wanted to know the name of the person I had spoken with, but he never replied. Instead, I had to look up his name on their website. I have never received such uncourteous service from a Toyota dealership in my life. Mind you, the part that should have been replaced, is under $20, and takes less than an hour to do.

BEWARE ! They tried to take me to the cleaners for a "broken window control arm and window motor replacement" They quoted me over 1k for the "necessary work." I refused and they charged me almost $200 for doing absolutely nothing but trying to scam me. Ended up going to my local mechanic and he found that the control arm was just missing a bolt. He said he would feel bad for charging me because it was such a simple fix. Window now works fine now. Don't let these xxxxxxxx rip you off esp the GM Mike and Nick the service Tech.

i schedule appointment 6 mounts ago. Arriving at this location is easy and pleasant. After they take car for service its terrible long waiting tome for oil change and tire rotation. Waiting time is around 3 hours and work time is less than 30 minutes

I have worst buying experience ever, never went back to any Star dealership to buy anything again, I have purchased couple new cars in another dealership's after that. They lay to me, they rob me by charging me additional fees, they provided worst costumer service after the sale. I can prove everything with paperwork and receipts. I can't say one good thing about them.

Great people, horrible experience though.
After negotiating and having a great time talking with the staff, everything went downhill.. the numbers we were promised were no where close to what our contract said. The poor finance guy was the last to meet us at 8pm after everyone else was done for the day but they had taken forever to complete our paperwork (we had sent in all our paperwork since 8am, prior to getting there). We finally get the agreement and the poor guy can’t explain anything because the sales ppl gave us all the wrong information and he was stuck giving us the bad news that the numbers promised were all BS because no one calculated anything correctly.
At this point we had waited forever, and decided to take the car and take the higher monthly bill, as we were so done with our horrible experience.
But it gets better..
After 4 and a half months, I am finally getting my registration and plates. How does no one have the answer as to why it hadn’t been processed? How come I had to call millions of times and keep getting the run around.
