Chatted us up afterward and walked me though the car's features even as I was ready to leave. No hustling, no rushing. Good kid and I hope he reads this and knows how much I enjoyed going through the process with him.
Showroom, as you'll see in other reviews, is pretty impressive and well-kept. Car was in good condition with no hidden gimmicks or surprises. Test drive was literally a cruise around the block and the area is very busy so keep that in mind if you have expectations about testing the car's performance.
Key note here - I did NOT finance through them. I did all that ahead of time and recommend that to just about anybody. Completely changes the game.
Manager of the place tried to play some hardball and I declined his offer two times before he settled on my initial offer. Look, I know the game, and he's just doing his job. Otherwise he was completely professional.
I walked out feeling like I did well. They came down on the price, we had a very hassle-free transaction. No complaints on my end but just know what you're getting into and I strongly suggest arranging your finances in advance.

This was my first car buying experience so I was pretty anxious about the whole process. Luckily, I had my dad along with me- a 40 year veteran of the car sales industry, so needless to say, expectations were incredibly high. Fortunately, Advantage Toyota was able to exceed those expectations! We were lucky enough to work with Chris Williams, who was so knowledgeable and so helpful, answering any and all questions. He took us for a test drive, and was able to explain the ins and outs of the vehicle with ease. My father called referred to him as "the best salesman [he's] seen in a long, long time". Communication was super easy, too, and Chris was very responsive to emails, phone calls, and texts. We're extra thankful for the wonderful Shermica Malcolm for her help and support, and her individualized attention to our needs. Fantastic management! Finally, on the day of deliver (car was leased on Monday, I drove it off the lot on Wednesday- amazing!), we had the pleasure of working with Mohammed Ali who was the sweetest, most helpful gentleman in the world! All options were explained thoroughly and questions were answered in great detail. Chris was waiting in the lot to help me transfer plates, and even gave me some time to say goodbye to my trade- in. I went searching for a relatively new truck back in June. I was looking to spend anywhere from 12-15 thousand on a truck (specifically an F-150). After being told that basically that price range you won't find much, I became slightly discouraged. On my way home I passed JTL and saw a beautiful 2004 F-150 Lariat that looked brand new. No scratches, dents, rust etc...tires were new and the interior was immaculate. All leather with no stains or anything anywhere. Edwin was the dealer my father and I dealt with and he was with us 100% of the way and answered every question we had. He as well as the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The price was great and it came with a free carwash and free first oil change. All in all these guys at JTL are great and I would highly recommend anyone, especially a young adult on a budget (like myself) to stop here look and talk to the representatives available ( highly recommend Edwin).
