I went to Jim’s Auto on Freeman’s Bridge Road in Glenville after an extremely frustrating day trying to buy a minivan for my son and his expanding family. Every van I saw before talking with Jim was beat, looked beat, or had scary high mileage on the odometer. Prices were all over the place, never worthy of the van’s condition. Jump ahead to Jim’s Auto, late in the day. Jim was a pleasure to do business with. He was kind, patient, and understanding of my situation. He gave me several options. His cars are either low or medium mileage in extremely excellent condition. Jim wanted the car to be perfect for my Son’s family, so he changed out the tires, battery and brakes. The car was detailed to new car standards. And, the price was very fair. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Jim’s Auto for their standard of care. Certainly, they go above and beyond…a rare quality in most business these days.

I had my oil and filter changed on Feb. 14 2019, on my 2018 frontier all seamed fine, I went to my garage moved the truck out and saw a puddle of oil under the front of my nissan frontier. I looked under the truck saw the oil dripping from the area where the filter was. The cover for the oil filter was missing ? I drove up there today Feb. 16 2019, they said they would check on it,they said the mechanic forgot to put the cover back on and it was still on his tool box !! Are you kidding me.They cleaned all the oil up from not being wiped up in the beginning and replaced the filter cover and topped off the oil. I also had the tires rotated ,I asked did the same mechanic tighten the lug nuts or forget to put some back on !!!

I was pleasantly surprised at my experience at the Meredith Motors in Troy. Dave took the time to answer all my questions. Never pushy easy to work with. I didn't buy my car the first day. I wanted to think about it. It took me a few days to make up my mind and not once did Dave call to bother me about the purchase or try to get me to come back in. I called him we worked out a fair price and he did all the paper work and DMV stuff. I'll give them another shot when I need another vehicle!

Johnathan was very kind and understanding of the situation I was in. I had a lot more paperwork to bring in due to being disabled. Both Peter and him explained everything to me in “detail” as to what the banks were looking for to approve me for the best interest rate with my credit score. When we are in that kind of situation we all know that the interest rate is going to be higher than normal and we may not be working with regular banks.
I didn’t get approved for the truck that I needed for my living arrangements in the country, but they made sure I had an SUV that fit my needs for my family. I would recommend this dealership and Johnathan to anyone I know.
I will be honest by letting you know I needed a larger down payment than I expected due to the commercials of a “dime down if you make $350.00 a week” that wasn’t expected and I was surprised to say the least. But the warranty and oil changes are worth it.
This is the beginning so I will update this review in another year to let you all know how they do moving forward. So far 5 star rating. 🙂

?? When I dropped my car off for service and needed a shuttle ride to my job they left without me and were suppose to let me know when shuttle arrived. This made me late for work
??the Leased car I got last April already blew a headlight. Replaced it and the headlight went out AGAIN. Since it was a deeper issue with the whole headlight and not just a bulb they are now trying to get me for $600+ in repairs blaming it on me.
?? They say they will call back and never do. (Still waiting btw)
