Great buying experience! - Civic
I made a reasonable offer using D'Amico's internet sales link.
My first offer was accepted , extremely pleased with Steve and manager Mike's personal attention when I arrived to pick up the car. Top notch dealership! I believe this was my 12th car purchased from a dealer and this goes down as the smoothest and most pleasant experience to date!
Excellent service - Spenserdad
I recently had Peake take care of recalls on 2 of my Dodge vehicles. This was after having my local Dodge dealer give me a run around for several weeks on airbags. They got me in right away, and within a week both recalls were done. The service people are friendly and very helpful. When I need to buy a new truck, I will be looking at trucks here.
Pleasant Experience - Nazarich
Our salesperson Tim was courteous and knowledgeable about the vehicles and just an overall pleasant individual. Took the time for us to test drive as many vehicles as we needed.

Sincere thank you to Mr. Chris Curran / Mr. James Provenzano - Mikedtake
Folks taking the time to read this. If you are shopping for a new or used vehicle and NO LONGER want the ‘hassle’ involved with doing so, give Chris Curran a shout at JAMES CHRYSLER, Seneca Falls, NY. I have NEVER purchased a vehicle SO EASY in my life. Chris actively LISTENED to Caryle’s needs and goals. He returned in minutes with Caryle’s Jeep. Purchased on the spot. No questions asked. Finance manager was respectful and informative. Everyone in dealership was respectful. Mr. James Provenzano, please tell me the corporate culture we discovered at James Chrysler, Seneca Falls, is NOT unique to your remaining dealerships. Please tell me, like McDonald’s burgers which never change by location, you have Chris Curran’s in all your dealerships. If so, folks, there is hope in new and used automobile sales. 💪

Criminals? Run down dump of a dealership. - Andrew_kuhn
My family has done business with this run down dealer for nearly 2 decades. After my Silverado broke down, even though it was still under warranty, I decided it was time to buy a ram 2500 Cummins. I originally spoke to the salesman Joe who proceeded to offer me 12,000 for my trade in, which according to KBB in OK shape is worth 17k to 20k. I then spoke to Matt Yeskey, who has sold my family vehicles for two decades and he said the best they could offer was 14k. I decided to take my business elsewhere, sight unseen another chrysler dealer offered me 18,500 for my Silverado, and I am now the proud owner of a brand new Ram 2500 Crew Cab with a Cummins motor. The moral of this story, is that the offers they will give you are as good as the building they use. Run down, dumpy and terrible. Take the time, drive 20 more minutes to the next Chrysler dealer. You will get better service, a better deal and work with awesome people. Even after buying vehicles here for 2 decades, they still wont want to work with you, What does this say about a new customer that walks into the shed they refer to as a 'showroom'. In case everyone is wondering, I bought the same truck they had on there lot except with more options, added a remote start, mudflaps, a tonneau cover, 7 year 125k mile maximum care Chrysler warranty, and paid about $6000 dollars less than these scam artists were trying to get me to pay. Go elsewhere, be happier and save money!
Buyer beware! Very unscrupulous dealership! - TimM
I purchased a 2019 Jeep from these unscrupulous folks. Everything about the deal was shady. $12,355 was added to my finance deal without my permission. The bulk of this was extra products and warranties I never asked for, nor were they discussed with me at all. When I caught them in this routine scam of theirs, they fixed my deal, and the sales manager & finance manager were forced to call me and apologize. Then they were subsequently fired when they couldn’t make my negative reviews go away. Mr Castilone tried acting like a tough guy on the phone. When I informed him that I had evidence of him doing this to other customers, and that my attorney says “there’s a clear pattern of criminality here,” he never got on the phone again. His guilt kept him in hiding, even upon my second pickup of the vehicle, after it was finally correctly detailed and the paint scratch repaired.
Recently I purchased a second 2019 vehicle from another dealership. The experience was 5000% better than at Castilone. My new dealer even sold me those rust proofing & paint protection warranties for my Jeep purchased at Castilone. They charged me about 1/3 of the price that Castilone tried to rob me for. I paid cash for these products thus saving myself 6 years of finance charges like the Bad Deal Castilone set up for me on the Jeep.
I wouldn’t buy a vehicle from Castilone if they were the only dealership on earth. I’d ride a bicycle or a horse, and avoid that band of thieves like the plague. Bad business practices in every aspect of their business.
Great Experience with Eric - Tom.Stewart81
While I do the majority of work on my vehicles at home, I consistently visit Genesee Valley to get my annual state inspection. We have (2) Honda’s and a 1978 CJ7, but the location and attitude of the service center employees brings me here rather than taking the drive to Henrietta. I’ve experienced no up-selling and enjoy the waiting area (free WiFi, coffee, soda, etc.). I plan to continue to go there in the future provided the level of service continues.
Eric was very helpful and even pointed out a couple of recall notices that I need to follow up on. I remember him from prior visits and his friendly demeanor and attitude was appreciated.
Don't Waste Your Time - AubCheney
Where to start with my experience at Marina Dodge... Everything started off pretty well - our salesman was brand new (started 4 weeks prior), so he was a little green, but very motivated, friendly, and eager to help. On the first night, I was told by the salesman and the used car manager that the dealership would write me a check to pay off my final two lease payments. We "signed" a deal that first night (on a handwritten line, no actual contract or agreement) and put a down payment on the car - no major complaints. The next day, I called the used car manager with some questions regarding how much I need to finance (because I wasn't given a purchase agreement), left a voicemail and never got a call back.
The next week, apparently the car is ready to be picked up, but I still don't know how much I have to finance. Call the salesman and he tells me he can't tell me a final price until I meet with the finance director. But I'm not financing through the dealership... Few text messages later, I finally get a number that included taxes, title, and other fees. Apply for the loan through my bank, bank gets back to me that the purchase agreement the dealership sent over was $2K higher than the number I was told by the salesman. What happened? Someone "accidentally" added in a warranty that I did not approve or agree to. Get back on the phone with the salesman and says the first number he gave me "did not include taxes, title, and other fees." Now that's interesting. Few heated minutes later, all of a sudden "there's an error" and he realized the warranty was added on. Get that taken off. New purchase agreement is sent to me to review before it goes to the bank. Why is the final vehicle price still $490 higher than the retail price of the car? Because instead of giving me a check for my final two lease payments like I was told and "paying off your loan" like they advertise, they're going to roll those last two payments into the financing amount. So they're not actually doing anything for you and now you're paying interest on those payments. FYI used car manager still hasn't called me back at this point.
Now we have to go to the dealership to sit down with the used car manager and the salesman in person and try to get this straightened out. The used car manager is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. Very rude and seriously lacks customer service skills. Kept aggressively pointing to the paper I signed on the first night and instead of calmly explaining why there was confusion just kept saying "but you signed, this is your signature, you signed this." Yeah bud, I know my signature, but the lease payoff was not explained correctly and was purposefully misleading. On top of that, he added, "why would we do that" referring to paying off my lease. Um maybe because that's what you told me what you were going to do and also what the entire dealership advertises.
After feeling so frustrated at this point and almost pulling the deal, I finally go to pick up the car. I'm told to be there at 4:30 to meet with the finance director to sign the final papers and after waiting 50 minutes for the guy we finally sit down to sign everything. Wouldn't you think they would have everything printed off and ready to go before you arrive? Apparently, that's not how they do business. Oh, and they only put a half tank of gas in used cars before you go home? Cool.
Despite all of the frustration and issues, the salesman has a lot of potential and could really thrive at a different dealership.
But never, ever will I refer anyone to do business at Marina Dodge.
