MY first new car ever was a 1984 Honda Civic. Still to this day one of the best cars I ever had.
So when we needed an extra family car we decided to look at a certified Civic.
WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE!. Our salesman Art was one the most professional people I have ever met in the car business. We cannot say enough great things about him. The managers Lindsay and Patrick made the transaction actually fun.
If you are looking for a Honda, which is always a good choice, BAIERL HONDA
is the place to go.
Absolutely disgusted by my experience with the salesman... - Shaw0186
Absolutely disgusted by my experience with the salesman Rudy and this company.
-He asked me to roll my window down and call someone walking by "gay"
-He insulted my weight and politics
-I had an hour and a half drive so I called ahead to let them know I was coming to look at a specific vehicle and let Rudy know I had an hour and a half drive. He called me an hour and 20 minutes late to say that the vehicle was sold several days before.
-He informed me I could not purchase a manual transmission Civic in my deal range. So I went to Valley Honda in Monroeville and received amazing service, respect, and a deal ON A MANUAL HONDA THAT CAME IN WELL BELOW MY DEAL REQUIREMENTS.
Stay away from this bigoted, disrespectful company at all costs!
Went in skeptical, came out SOLD! - SpasticRat
Went to Straub Honda to confirm my choice about buying a new Toyota, either a Rav 4 or a Highlander. Michael Staskey met me at the door and showed me a CR-V. He is without a doubt the most knowledgable sales person I have ever met. I really wanted NOT to like the CR-V and confirm my choice of a Toyota. But Michaels knowledge of the Honda CR-V and his professionalism won me over. He was not pushy or rushed. He showed me how the safety features worked and I was SOLD! The test drive capped it off. The car is awesome and then some. Honda has hit a home run with this car. But it still takes a great sales person to close the deal.
And the funny thing was, my neighbor was buying the EXACT same car at the exact same time we were. I can only hope their salesman was as good as Michael.

I bought a used Odyssey van there. I paid $1800 for a four year warranty. The van is nice but a couple months later the rains came. The security alarm goes off in the middle of the night and sometimes the sliding door window goes down by itself while it’s raining. I checked YouTube and could see that these vans have had these problems for ten years. I took the van back to Shadyside Honda and was informed that their $85 an hour mechanics had 3 hour into it and didn’t know what the problem was.(10 year problem) They wanted to replace a couple parts, costing $1000 and if that didn’t work they were going to try more parts. Of course nothing was covered under the warranty. I went and got the van back after them having it fo 2 and a half months ( shut down) I have to disconnect the battery every night. I also went for my scheduled oil and maintenance change. Right after I got van back the oil was half qt low and the tranny was almost 2 qts low. I asked didn’t they check the tranny fluid. He said they weren’t allowed to put tranny fluid in vehicle. I guess I go to the dentist for that.
Do not let them trick you into selling you a car on... - Nate
Do not let them trick you into selling you a car on dealer trade. They made me put a deposit down on a car they were unsure if they could even acquire. After 3 attempts at vehicles that didn’t even match exactly what I wanted, I went to another dealership and they had the exact truck I wanted coming in the next week. Received a much better deal at the other dealer as well. After I told them I purchased a vehicle elsewhere, their sales manager continued to call me.
Do Not Go Here - clk
Went in to look for a new CR-V. Salesman was incredibly demeaning. He acted as if I was incapable of discussing pricing and kept deflecting to my husband despite the fact it was my car even after my husband told him he needed to talk with me about it. Then he said the only reason I didn’t want to pay full sticker price was because I couldn’t afford it. To top matters off, he tried to sell me the same exact year and model of my current vehicle for nearly double the price he said he could give me on trade in. This place is a total joke. Don’t waste your time here.
Horrible experience. - GerryK
Do not ever use this place for service! I brought my mother's Fit in for the airbag recall, and thought i should go ahead and get it inspected, since it was due. Dropped the car off in the morning and caught their shuttle to work. they called a little after lunch and tried to tell me that the brake pads were 'stuck' in their brackets - and they would have to remove, clean and lube them, and reinstall. this would be $90. I said 'are the pads still serviceable to pass inspection?', they said 'yes' -- so i said go inspect it then. The person calling said they couldn't do the inspection without doing this; so I said 'well put it back together and i'll take it to a real garage', to which they curtly cut the call off, and then called two hours later to say the car was done.
In PA, the safety inspection includes visually inspecting the brake lining and rotor or drum to ensure it has enough lining, and parts are not too worn -- and if the brakes were stuck in their brackets, they frankly would not work (if you know anything about brakes)
Best part, they refused to inspect the car (and i refused to pay); and they messed around with every control in the car, changing the radio stations and climate control settings and steering wheel -- as if they were a bunch or pre-schoolers!
I would advise anyone to stay far away from this place.
This dealership's service department doesn't know the... - chevygrl413
This dealership's service department doesn't know the first thing about "service", be it completing a vehicle service correctly or customer service. We scheduled to have 4 new tires mounted and balanced as well as an alignment done on our vehicle on January 13th and were told that the alignment couldn't be completed due to a cracked coil spring which the technician was afraid would break if adjusted. We were still charged the full price for a partially completed alignment. They adjusted the front toe only on a 4wd alignment. They didn't touch the castor/camber or rear. We were told to go ahead and replace the strut assembly and bring the vehicle back in and they would complete the rest of the alignment at no additional cost. We purchased and installed two new front strut assemblies and attempted to make an appointment to get the alignment completed today (exactly two weeks later) and were told we would have to be charged for the entire alignment again. Both my boyfriend and I tried to rectify this situation through the dealership's service department first. We both spoke with Brad, who said because they have to pay someone to setup the mirrors and basically do the entire alignment from the beginning again, we would have to pay for it a second time. I work in the automotive industry and know how to set up an alignment and have done them before... It's not that hard. The most time consuming aspect is setting up the mirrors, it's a bit tedious, but it still doesn't take that long. I would also expect for a dealership to back up their services especially when it has only been two weeks and we were promised it would be completed correctly. Again, as someone who works in customer service, I contacted them directly and tried to get this resolved before leaving a negative review. I'm very disappointed in their unwillingness to correct the problem and choosing to make a profit over taking care of their customer. This is the predominant reason why I don't recommend going to a dealership for services. Stick with a local shop or a chain who will at least stand behind their products and services!

Stop scamming customers by failing their state inspection over wiper blades. This is the 2nd year in a row that you have tried this crap. Shame on me for trying you a second time. The first time I had just purchased and installed myself Bosch Icon wipers ($40). You complete my inspection and tell me I'm all done. I see a charge for wipers??? I ask the service guy why and he says they failed inspection so he just had them change them (without asking me!) I flipped my lid. I asked to see me wiper blades, Guess what, they were already disposed of. The dealership says they won't charge me. So I end up with their horrible $5 blades and someone takes my $40 blades for their car.
Then stupid me goes back this year thinking it was just a mistake. And they try it again!! They said the wipers were smudged?(what does that even mean?) So I I tell them to put the car back together and I will pick it up. I run the wipers. They are fine. I have my wife look at them. They are fine. I have 3 neighbors look at them. They all say the same thing...there's nothing wrong with them. Next, I turn on the hose to simulate a rain storm. Guess what? They are still 100% FINE!
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! We bought 4 new cars from them and had plenty of service done. They will never get one more penny from us. What a shame. From now one, we'll buy from the internet.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank John Frantangelo and Mike Black for the time and care they took in helping my niece buy her first vehicle. They took time to explain everything and treated us both with integrity and respect. At no time did my niece or myself feel pressured or uncomfortable. John and Mike are a rare find in this industry bringing that combination of years of knowledge and customer service together to provide an enjoyable experience. I sincerely appreciated all the care and attention they took. They are a true asset to the Valley Honda team!
Bait and Switch - NOFayetteHonda
I was told a price on the phone and 45 minutes later I was told a much higher price at Fayette Honda. I even got a call from CHarper Honda while I was at Fayette onda and Fayette Honda told me that there's no way that CHArper could give me the price the they just did on the phone (And they did(Thank you Rusty, from CHarper)). I wold normally never take a call when I was at someone else's desk but the way I was treated, and they were not at the desk when my cell first rang, I took it. Fayette Honda even told me that I could not take the paper that they put the price on for me to see. I would recommend everyone stay far away from them!
Best car buying/trade ever - David301
Straight forward sales. Kenny sold me exactly what I wanted. Found my new Touring CRV EX in OH, set up trade & cash sale within 2 business days. This is how cars should be sold. Glad to know that Hondas are made in the US!
