Jim Porter is one of two trusted people whom I consult when I'm shopping for a vehicle for my family. I'm a repeat customer and have purchased three cars from him through out my 20 years of adulting. I trust him because of his vast knowledge of the industry and thus far, his guidance has not steered me wrong. In my youth, I have been on the receiving-end of an ugly and difficult car buying experience. It's easy to fall into that situation.
Jim is patient and most of all, won't allow you to agree to something you're not completely comfortable with. I liken his honesty to the Macy's Santa Claus, for those of you who might understand the reference.

Bayside had a Nissan Altima that I was interested in advertised on their website. I live about 35 minutes from the dealership, so I called to make sure they had the vehicle before drove all that way to see the car. Salesman Jim B answered the phone and put me on hold so he could physically walk out onto the lot to make sure the car was there. After a couple minutes, he came back and said they still had the car in stock and he would pull it around front. When I got there, he took me on a nice test drive, on some back roads and onto the highway. It gave me a good feel for the car and I knew at that point that I wanted it. The price of the car online was very good and I felt I got a great deal. Dealing with Robyn in the finance department was just as easy. I was left with a very good experience from Bayside Nissan and would definitely recommend others do business here.

I had purchased 4 Nissan Murano SUVs from 2002 to 2015 from Priority Nissan and as I went to purchase the 2019 one I had a bad incident with the sales rep so my daughter shopped around and found the Nissan I wanted at this location. She dealt with Le'Shon Johnson who kept in touch while we were on vacation. Once we returned I went to see Le'Shon and I bought my 5th Murano! She was so pleasant to deal with and easy to get in touch with...in fact all of the folks at the dealership were very nice. I would definitely recommend her and will keep in touch because she was so helpful. Thanks for making my purchase into a nice experience!

Horrible Mechanic Service - NissanRogue
I spent more than $2k for the mechanical service, air bag light and CV boot replacement. After getting the car back, within a few days I heard a clicking noise each time i stepped on the brakes. I called the service department and no one answered my phone calls. I decided to take a look at what happened to the brakes that when i step on it, there was a clicking noise. To my surprised when I am about to remove the wheel, there were 2 nuts that were just barely tighten. The other 3 nuts were so tighten that i had to work to get it off. Clearly, the mechanic at the dealer didn't torque it right. Luckily I found the problem quickly. I can't imagine if the nuts had fallen off. What a disappointment, since i bought 2 cars from them years ago. Just can't trust the mechanics here.

Bate and switch BS! Went to look at a 2017 Nissan Altima SL for 13.9 (that's been sitting for 5 months. Somehow after all the fees and taxes the total was 18.5. The "prep" fee was $2k, the certification fee was $2.5k - neither of which was posted on the advertisement.... Huge waste of time since I came from MD in rush hour traffic.... No idea why it's so hard to just list the price at 17k ESCPECIALLY when I called and asked about the fees before I drove an hour to Springfield.....

Dealership employees stole belongings out of the trunk of my trade in car. The salesman, Luis, looked for them and found half the contents of my gym bag in the trunk. Unfortunately, the dealership lost those, too.
It took two months to get my license plates because of a typo the dealership had on my paperwork. I tried to work with Ryan in Finance to keep track of the status, but people hardly ever called me back.
It's now three months since I bought my car and I'm still waiting for the second electronic key - because the salesman accidentally gave it to another customer. The sales manager, Nettra, promised to send someone out to make a new key three weeks ago. But, despite all the messages I've left for him, he hasn't been calling me back.

I met Trevor on Sunday afternoon and I was driving my car by Monday Afternoon. Working with Trevor (and Eddie) was like sitting down with family. Even though I was initially just checking out the market; he took the time to tell me about each and every car I touched or had questions about. He was responsive to my needs and wants in a vehicle. They made car buying fun again.

We highly recommend buying your Nissan Leaf from Brandon Anderson. He knows a lot about them and he helps you understand and set up the systems in the car. I also like that they are very straightforward. I didn't feel like they were pushing things on me that I didn't want.

They didn't listen to any of my concerns. They let me drive a car that almost killed us. Then all they could say was "we didn't do anything wrong."
I have owned/leased nissan for 6 years and I have never seen such crappy service.
Now it's time to turn in my nissan and I couldn't be happier, this dealership's irresponsibility and lack of professionalism is so bad that I don't ever want to deal with such garbage again.

Dishonest and incompetent - walker
I had multiple problems with this dealership. I had called beforehand to inquire about the car I was purchasing and a price was agreed upon. When I got to the dealership, they kept trying to increase the price and get me to buy additional extras. They stalled, making me sit there for almost 4 hours while trying to convince me to pay more.
I was lied to about several features. I specifically asked about navigation updates and was told there was no cost and it would be done automatically. After I got home and looked through the owner's manual, I found that was a lie. I was told I would have Sirius XM Radio and NissanConnect for 12 months. They both expired a few months later. I left the dealership with under a half tank of gas after being told they would fill the tank before I took possession of the car. While all of these issues may seem rather small, ultimately they totaled well over $1000 in additional expenses when combined.
They were supposed to have had the state safety check done to cover the next 12 months. It expired a few months after I purchased the car. They charged me for two years of licensing and I was later told by DMV that Sheehy had given me expired plates. I had to pay a second time to get new license plates. I was lucky I didn't get pulled over during that time or I would have had to pay a fine for expired plates on top of everything else.
A few months after my purchase, Sheehy sent a check for a little over $8 with no explanation. They sent it to the wrong address so I didn't get it until months later, after it could no longer be cashed. The check amounted to a SMALL fraction of what I was owed.
For weeks after I purchased the car, I kept getting phone calls saying they needed me to send pictures of the mileage on the odometer because they hadn't recorded it and they needed other information on the car. I was out of state at the time so could not respond to their repeated requests for information to cover their incompetence. The messages they left were always vague and non-specific. When I finally did speak with a representative, I was 2000 miles away from the car and unable to provide the documentation they neglected to record.
I absolutely would not go back to this dealership, if they were the last one on earth. I doubt i'll be buying another Nissan.
