The salesman went above and beyond to help us with buying a car for our college bound senior. He took the time to go over the car and make sure we knew how to use the features.

Chris, at High Country Truck and Van, helped my son and myself decide on and purchase a truck for my son. He described each detail of the truck we were interested in clearly to me so that I could phone and tell my son who was at work. This didn't bother Chris. In fact, I have never experienced a more relaxed purchase of a vehicle! He was able to draw up all necessary paperwork including the bank loan before my son could join us. (Telco Community Credit Union is there on site!) My son is extremely pleased with his "new" 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD!
Chris and the staff I met at High Country Truck and Van demonstrated excellent skill, knowledge and understanding of vehicles and salesmanship. I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Traded cars with Coleman Freeman two days ago. - Greg
My family has been trading with Coleman Freeman since the early 1980s. By my count 21 vehicles since then. Never any pressure. Always trustworthy people. Reliable vehicles.
Exceptional Service - PleasedCustomer
I highly recommend AutoStar of Canton for anyone searching for a quality used car purchasing experience. Brandt and Chris (Canton location) and Derrick (West Asheville) were nothing but helpful and honest. They helped rectify an unfortunate situation with professionalism and courtesy. Never once did they try to “get one over” on me or utilize the stereotypical “used car sales” tactics.
If you are looking for a truly enjoyable purchasing experience, you should definitely give these guys a shot!
Cody helped us buy our car; probably the most pleasant... - Floridabuyer
Cody helped us buy our car; probably the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had buying a car. VW is super lucky to have him! He knew so much about VW cars, and knew a lot about off brand cars like the one we bought. He went over and beyond!
I had narrowed my search to another Mazda 6 and a Hyundai... - george
I had narrowed my search to another Mazda 6 and a Hyundai Sonata. When I first reached out by e-mail I received a call from the sales person, JR. when I returned his call he said that he was with another client and would call back. He did not return my call until I sent another e-mail asking to work with a different person. That was my first impression of Fields Mazda.
As there were no other Mazda 6's in the immediate area I went to Fields Mazda to see and test drive a 2020 Mazda 6. When I went to the dealership to test drive the car, JR was my sales person. I found him to be very pushy (almost aggressive), very high pressure, and he kept pushing the fact that the current offers and incentives would expire at midnight and that if I did not but that day I might lose a good deal. Additionally, he kept putting down the Hyundai as being a great car but horrible depreciation. It just seemed that his only concern was to sell the car, not help me determine if the Mazda 6 was the right car.

Terrible Experience - Christina
At the time I purchased my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I also purchased the Freedom Warranty. Well 5 months after purchase, I took it to a shop to start a claim because it was making a loud noise. The warranty company inspected the Jeep and found that the drive shaft was bad, as well as, the transfer case motor. Their inspection report stated that the drive shaft was a long term pre-existing condition and would not be covered. Not to mention the transfer case motor is a non covered part. This dealer sold me a Jeep Grand Cherokee that had a faulty drive shaft at the time of sale. When contacting the dealer and speaking with Brian Jones, they refuse to take any responsibility for the issue and only want to blame the customer. I am now out an additional nearly $2000 for repairs I was not planning on paying. Did I mention, I have only had the vehicle for 5 months?! I was able to cancel the warranty for a prorated refund also but that was just as big of a hassle that you have to go through the dealership for. If you are looking for a safe, reliable vehicle for your family then this is NOT the place. This dealership is deceitful and the warranty they upsell to you is useless. I have lived in the area my whole life and have never had an experience as terrible as this when purchasing a car whether from a dealer or private seller. Go elsewhere, I promise you won't regret it!!
Very Deceiving and Untrustworthy. - elkellyjr
Very unprofessional and deceiving. If you're looking for a vehicle, don't trust this place to give you a correct description of the car. I would not recommend trusting their word if you plan on coming from any decent distance. Here is my experience with this used car dealership.
My mom found a 2001 Honda Accord listed on their website for $3,995. She's been looking for that particular car since we owned one years ago. I read the description which states: "We have checked and double checked the mechanics of this car to make sure it is perfect." That was a lie. after we test drove it, and I turned the car on and off 3 times, the SRS light came on, I tested the windshield wipers and the rubber blades were falling off, the taillights had water in them and the trunk was leaking.
There's more, the ad also states "We have made sure that this Honda has kept its same faultless beauty as when it first rolled out the factory doors. The interior is spotless with no rips, stains, or blemishes of any kind." This is is a lie as well. The drivers seat is ripped, don't believe me? Ask them to take a picture of the drivers seat from a viewpoint of entering the car from a distance of 3 feet. Also, the armrest is water damaged, most likely from someone forgetting to close the sunroof and it raining on it. The headliner in the rear of the car is falling down, the back bumper is a different shade of gold than the rest of the car because it was in an ACCIDENT and the body has scratches all over it. Also, the snaps on the passenger side rear pumper are broken, causing the plastic molding to push away from the vehicle. All of these things are verifiable by asking them for pictures of said issues.
We drove all the way from Philadelphia to purchase this car and were assured by Cindy that the description is 100% correct as I know this is an older vehicle and it's extremely rare to find any car this old in the condition they said it was in. She lied directly to me and I have the email to prove it.
After seeing the amount of issues with the car I said to Leonard, this car is not what you made me to believe, do you have any wiggle room as I'd still buy it but not for $3,995. He said "no I don't" and closed his book.
From start to finish the experience I've had with them was nothing short of terrible. I'm used to dealing with xxxxxx as I live outside of Philadelphia, but the lying and the ignorance that was displayed here takes the cake.
If they respond and try to dispute my claims, you can go to their office tomorrow and look at the vehicle yourself if you're close and you'll see I'm telling the truth.
I would not take the word of any of these people who work here, go look at the vehicles yourself and have a mechanic check them out before you buy one, you're that daring to trust them in the first place. Also, I would recommend for anyone thinking about taking a long trip to buy a car from them, don't. And lastly, if you're going to have them ship you a car based off of their promises, I would highly suggest you change your mind.
Swindled - Jeremy
Do not, under any circumstances, purchase any used vehicles from Harmony Motors of North Carolina. They clearly do not properly inspect the cars they are representing, not even from the brands they specialize in. My name is Jeremy, and these are the facts. This was my first time buying a car, and I was looking for an early Porsche Cayman S. I had been researching for almost two months and legitimately shopping for two weeks. The market at the time was holding really nice examples around 31K; and ones a bit rougher, or with high miles at 18K. Harmony Motors had a 2006 Porsche Cayman S listed at 25K, with 46,200 miles on the clock, a clean CARFAX, and good service history. I inquired about the car saying I was ready to make a deal because I was preapproved. I was convinced at the time that this was the best example I could buy within driving distance. In addition, it was being represented by a certified Porsche dealer. I was told that it wasn’t in perfect condition cosmetically, and I replied that I was more concerned about it being good mechanically because its purpose is to be a daily driver. I was then told that the car was on consignment and that the price was the price, and I agreed to put my money down. When I arrived at the dealership me and the salesman walked around the car and he told me that the rear tires, air filters, and front trunk struts were replaced. Before I could get behind the wheel for a test drive, a dash light came up when the salesman started the car. We drove it down to the service department to diagnose the code. He got a tech to read the code, however the tech didn’t know what it meant, and cleared it telling us to bring it back if it popped back up. The dash light didn’t come back during the test drive. The only things I noticed during my walk around and test drive was that the spoiler button wasn’t working, and the odometer was at 46,8XX miles. Once I had it for a few days, I started noticing issues. The speakers were blown and very muddy, the car doesn’t drive straight insead it veers to the right, and I filled up the windshield wiper fluid only to have it leak out from under the passenger headlight. I took it to my local repair shop to look at those issues and the spoiler button. I also asked them to do my oil and spark plugs to start fresh. They then sent me pictures of the filters in the car and told me that the battery was ten years old (42/10 is european for 4th of February 2010) and I should consider replacing it. Their first repair quote was around $3,500. I asked them to remove the battery replacement and a few other things which got the price down to $2,700. I contacted Harmony Motors explaining the situation and they did absolutely nothing. I’ve never spent 25k before nor have I ever experienced such a lack of customer service in my entire life. Since the last time I spoke to Harmony Motors my brake and engine lights have come on. The brake light indicates that the pads are low, and the engine light says it needs repair services. The number of safety concerns this vehicle has is absolutely appalling and the money it’s going to take to fix Harmony Motors negligence is disgusting. Stay the xxxx away from this dealership!
Dishonest Dealer - WrightFamily016
A couple of days ago I purchased a GMC around KBB value. It was a recent trade-in and hadn't been detailed. When negotiating, I brought up a few body issues that needed fixing before agreeing on price (paint scuffs, a busted wheel well, missing fog light, etc.) "We'll get all of this fixed when we send it back to detail" is what I was told. I took their word for it, and paid in cash.
Yesterday when I went to pick it up, I noticed that almost none of the issues had been fixed, the cargo latch had been broken off during cleaning, and worst of all, they didn't disclose the broken sunroof and AC!
Conveniently, when I nicely asked about these things, the sales rep wasn't available. Now he won't return my calls or texts. I expect some nicks here and there with a used car, but this is ridiculous. I pointed these issues out and made my purchase based on a verbal agreement.... naively. I could live with the cosmetic issues, but not disclosing the broken AC and sunroof is just pathetic business practice.

Best Used Car Experience We've Ever Had - don salmon
Our first visit to AutoStar was a surprise - warm, knowledgeable people, patient, calm and ready to answer all of our questions.
It seemed too good to be true, so we made the mistake of going around to a half dozen or so other used car dealers - an unpleasant experience all-around.
So finally, we came to our senses and went back to AutoStar. After those experiences, our thoroughly positive second experience at AutoStar was even more of a surprise: "Is it possible that a used car dealership could be so honest and knowledgeable?"
Well, we've been driving our 2015 Kia for nearly a week, and we're as happy as ever.
You know how at most used car dealers, you can't wait to leave? As we were on our way back to AutoStar that second time, we were actually **looking forward** to returning. And they were every bit as wonderful as we remembered.
We can't recommend enough - don't make our mistake - if you need a used car, go right to AutoStar and stick with them. They're wonderful.

Great place to buy a car. Not like your normal used car dealer. Very nice cars Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Porsche. Deals in highline cars, and suvs. No pressure from salesman at all. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Family owned and operated. You get to deal with the owner and their prices were less than the surrounding dealers.
my experience - sgallowayp
