We had a breakdown in our 21 year old pickup truck while on a trip to florida. Randy from your service department and the service technician/mechanic were incredible. They diagnosed the problem and made the needed repairs that same afternoon. We are so thankful to Coggin Chevrolet for taking care of us and our old truck. Our truck has never run better!!! And your service fees for parts and labor were very reasonable. Coggin Chevrolet deserves 10 Stars!!! Highly recommended!!!

The car-buying experience was fine.
Fast-forward almost 2 years and our experience is much different. The service department at this dealership is deplorable.
We have taken our vehicle in two times for the A/C failing and because they are unable tp duplicate it inside their shop, they say we've been imagining it. At least 4 trips to the west coast of FL, the air gives out right around Gainesville and unless we stop, turn off the car for 10 minutes or more and then start it back up, it will not correct. We can put the fan onto the highest setting and NOTHING comes out of the vents, but you can hear it running behind the dash...but no air.
The last time this happened, we had our dog in the back seat and we had to pull over to let her cool off in the shade and get her out of the car. As soon as the heat in FL is over 80 degrees, this is unbearable in a vehicle that is out in the sun. I cannot believe that Linda Beaver or any other face of this company can be satisfied with this type of treatment of their customers. To have the car for 3 weeks, NOT take it out for a long drive to try to duplicate the circumstances, to tell us we have IMAGINED this problem and then to attach a passive aggressive document to our invoice showing us how an air conditioner works? Are you kidding me?
I have never treated anyone like this and we have been SO patient and kept the service department in the loop as we experienced these issues and still, no resolve. If you want a new car, I would not recommend Beaver Chevrolet. We were fooled by the commercials...they did not wow us.
It is unacceptable to be paying for a car that is under 2 years old and having these issues that they refuse to fix. I have video that is date/time stamped showing where we can't feel the A/C any longer after we'd been driving in town for a long while. I will keep documenting this and keep adding to my file on this vehicle. I'm interested if they'd been able to "find the problem" once it's all out of warranty and the responsibility is on me to pay out of pocket...oh I bet they'd find plenty wrong then. For the record the unhelpful and rude service technician who was nasty to my husband is Emmanuel.
They're also very behind in servicing vehicles because so many are in need of repair...that should be a giant red flag to the quality of their product. I'm just so disappointed and so very disheartened.

I’ve purchased 2 vehicles from this Dealership and had vehicles serviced on several occasions. They have an obvious culture of not showing any appreciation or being polite with a greeting and simple “how are you”? The waiting area for owners getting any type of service consists of 7 chairs and a television. No water, coffee or anything else to make the person feel welcome.
They should take notice of just a few competitors: Beaver Chevrolet has Coffee, water, snacks, and Jimmy John sandwiches. Their waiting area is open and salesman, managers, and other employees all say hello. They make you feel welcome and appreciated.
Duval Ford offers coffee, water and snacks and once again their employees say hello and make you feel welcome and appreciated. Fields Automotive Group has even more choices and treats for their customers. Doesn’t cost anything but sends a strong message to customers. I understand you go to dealerships to buy a car or get one serviced and that’s the priority. There is nothing wrong with making the customers feel special, and there are plenty of local dealerships that work to get your business and repeat business.
Ron Anderson won’t have to worry about another negative review from me, because I won’t be back, period.

Sold me a defective vehicle and turned back on me!! - NoChevys
On April 29th I made the mistake of trusting a car dealership, (Bennett Chevrolet-Buick in Kingsland Georgia) to be honest and fulfill its word/commitment. I know better and this will be a life lesson I will pay for 72 months and carry with me for the rest of my life.
Here is what happened. I stopped by to look at 2019s and possibly to trade in my 2018 Chevy Equinox. Keep in mind I have not bought a brand-new car since 2011 (it was ironically a Chevy as well) . Typically, I buy used cars with 5k to 20k miles on them because of the cost savings but we had purchased a used 2018 Equinox in 2018 with 19K miles and we really enjoyed it. We put 15K miles on it in 5 months and now the warranty was about to be up, so we were considering buying a new one.
My salesman, David Strong, seemed like a decent enough young man and had a low-pressure sale pitch. I was satisfied with his approach and decided to do business with Bennett Chevrolet . They did not have an AWD vehicle on their lot, but I was promised that one could be located at another dealership and brought there same day for delivery. I agreed and was convinced/encouraged to complete all the paperwork immediately so that I could take delivery on the new vehicle that same day. It had been a pleasant experience and I failed to see the great harm I would soon suffer.
I went home for lunch and was called around 4pm to come get my new car. I excitedly took the keys to my new car. My wife and I got in and as we left the parking lot, we noticed a buzz/vibration/noise coming from the shifter knob. It’s a 40 mile drive back to the house and I called Bennett Chevrolet from the road and told them of the issue. They told me it was almost closing time and to come back tomorrow and they would make it right.
April 30th at 8 am I was at the dealer and took David (the salesman) for a ride. He agreed that there was a problem and could hear the noise. So, I dropped the vehicle with the service department (I was going out of town for work and would be gone 5 days). I told the salesman I would not take delivery of this vehicle if It was not made right and David gave me his full assurance all would be repaired.
While I was gone I waited 3 days until I finally reached out to the service department by phone and spoke with Mr. Wit for an update. He told me that they could hear the noise but had no idea where it was coming from or what was causing it but that they had ordered a whole new shifter assembly from transmission to column and would replace all of it if necessary. On Friday May 3rd I got a call back from service department informing me that all the parts had been replaced but that the noise was still present. Further, they advised that GM was aware of a noise occurring in some 2019 Equinoxes, but at this time there was no solution and it could not be fixed.
I called sales and spoke with a manager, Anthony, and Denise in customer service who both told me, “sorry come get your broken new vehicle.” I asked for a replacement vehicle - they told me NO, it would be too much paperwork because they had already registered the VIN . I asked them to take it as a trade- they said they did not want it and said we would have to order another AWD and it could be broken too. I told them I would not accept this vehicle- they informed me I had signed a contact and that I owned THIS VEHICLE. I reminded them my contract was for a new (properly working) vehicle. They told me take it up with GM or my lawyers.
I have been a Chevy man for my whole life and I have purchased 10 new cars in my life and all but one was a GM. This will be my last.

I can’t say enough good things about Frank Beck Chevrolet. After having a major issue with a new truck I purchase a few months ago Dave Beck step up an handled the issue which I’m sure cost him financially but he never hesitated about doing the right thing. I have bought many vehicles over the years in my lifetime but I know of no other dealership that would have done what this dealership did for me.I can think no other dealer that I would trust to buy a vehicle from an neither should you.
Service dept. - Roy Hart
I'm glad to say that service manager Rocco and master tech Ronnie are back at Beck Chevy of Starke, they were gone for a few months and they took my confidence in the service dept with them. I recently had a problem with the A/C on my 2014 Silverado and as GM has had a lot problems with this model of vehicles A/C system, Rocco got the costs covered by GM and Ronnie had it repaired within 2 days of the diagnosis. These employees are an asset to this dealership and I highly recommend the service department to one and all. "5 STAR SERVICE DEPT"
