review of recent service - arabbit
My service advisor Dave Overturf was excellent. He is personable and very pleasant. I was very disappointed in the advice I received for repairs and the prices for those repairs. For example: the diagnostics for my comment regarding a vibration cost a little over $200. That is absurd. I did agree to the estimate of cost ahead of the evaluation so I consider that I was not thinking well. The estimate for a new battery was well over $400. This was advised because of a failed battery load test. I got a second opinion and a load test which indicated that the battery was fine and met all specifications . In addition a equal battery would have cost me $150 less 25%. Your costs are outrageous. In the same vein the cost for a cabin filter and engine air filter plus install were out of this world in comparison to a prior replacement of these items elsewhere. Very disappointed in Palm Beach Jaguar. Also note that your cashier needs some instruction as to her attitude in talking to the customer.
Jag went in for service, Jag came back broken! - Gene Serra
Worst service department in the history of Jaguar! Where do you take your treasured Jag for a simple Tekata airbag recall, and get it back with broken pieces on your dash trim and a broken air vent? Jaguar of Fort Lauderdale, that's where!
Getting them to fix what they broke was an even bigger hassle. Robert Irvine, the service advisor, was unresponsive, ineffective and non apologetic. I've got some advice for this advisor, find another job. Maybe there's a log out there that needs another bump!
