Walking into stingray is not like ANY dealership it's like walking into a party. Everyone is so friendly. There's cold bottles of water or hot coffee and if you get there in time there's free donuts or cookies. Everyone likes their job you can tell......they're all smiling.

Rear bumper repaired perfectly. - gloria6498
Had to have rear bumper repaired after someone bumped me. The body shop did an outstanding job. The car was spotless when we picked it up. They also helped us with a rental car for a few days.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE AT FERMAN CHEVROLET TAMPA - crazy dave
I have just gone through the most amazing experience at Ferman today. 9/7/2018
I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and this was a whole new experience.
Due to an issue with my current truck, I have facing a major and costly repair, and due to the age of the truck it would also be a good time to trade but how do I trade a truck while it's in the shop?
Manny in service put me in touch with my new Angel, Kayla Haroon.
Manny also coordinated a rental while my vehicle was being evaluated and he coordinated with Kayla to get my truck appraised and evaluated before I arrived on Friday to swap out my rental for a loaner to help with the costs of repairs I was about to endure.
I spoke with Kayla at length about my situation and she assured me that she had a solution at hand and she had a super star Nate Auvil who could make something happen that I would find amazing.
I was on the fence before about buying a new truck right now, and really didnt want to wait 1 more year before doing this.
Kalya put me in touch with Nate Auvil and we also spoke at length and the options and opportunities started to seem doable.
Hours later when the 3 of us met in person, it was like a match made in heaven. In short order, it was like we were all best friends as we had so much in common.
i was also still wary of how things will look on paper and how much is this going to cost. Nate assured me he did his homework and he would come in at the perfect price 1st time out of the gate.
LOL, I have heard that before... Well much to my surprise, he did as promised. Not only did Ferman take my blown up truck off my hands and pay me a decent dollar for the tradein, they also took care of the repairs and made it all right. The price of the new truck was right where I expected it would be to make me happy and BINGO, we were done.
Both Kayla and Nate spent plenty of time going over all sorts of details and even covered some amazing new features on the truck in my test drive. I had no idea trucks have turned into spaceships ;-)
#1... without a doubt, this deal would not have gone to step #1 without Kayla.. She was the lynch pin in all of this. She picked Nate when I told her I wanted a truck expert and no games. #2... Nate delivered in every aspect you could imagine both as a super Ferman truck guy who really knows his stuff and also knows how to deliver a great deal, but also on a personal level when we both discovered common connections in our past.
I shall now end my little novel about my Ferman experience and encourage anyone who loves Chevy's like I do to SEEK out FERMAN CHEVROLET and check out Kayla and Nate
Almost forgot, my experience with Jeff Shegog Finance Manager was also a pleasant experience. This is the spot where I always dread since extras try to get added on. Options were offered and not pushed and I was given time to think over options and declined most of them but found some acceptable. Working with Jeff was a great experience in this area I never had before. Thank you Jeff
Ok Really done now ;-)
Great experience! - Jenfields7979
After a terrible experience at a competing Kia dealership, I came to Century. My salesperson, Carlos, and the Sales Manager, John, were both very warm and kind, and worked VERY hard to get me where I needed to be. No games, no shady tactics. Very friendly atmosphere and great overall experience!
Awful Experience - argentry
We may have just had unfortunate timing, but we had an awful experience with this dealership.
Wife's car died on the way to work. I leave work and it was obviously the transmission and we are only a few months out of warranty. We get it towed to Jim Browne Chevrolet in Dade City. The guy was very nice, professional, and welcoming on the phone. We arrive with the vehicle and wait to be seen. Was not greeted by their A-team in customer relations. The guy was short, blunt, to the point, which was fine with me even if he was borderline annoyed. I prefer transparency when it comes to business dealings. He tells us their transmission tech will be in tomorrow to take it apart and tell us the problem. 4400 estimate for transmission.
We get a call the next afternoon, their tech agrees with the assessment. Wife waits to talk to me before we give the go ahead. I give her a list of questions to ask before giving the go ahead.
Call the next day and now it's 2400 for takedown costs and then the price of the part to fix it, or 4700 for a new one. The price had gone up 300 dollars for the same service. I also did not like the takedown estimate because a new transmission only costs 2200. But the real kicker is that the tech never even took apart the transmission despite what we were told! I get that they did not want to charge us for the takedown until we said so but we were explicitly told that the tech would take it apart and find the problem the next day. Don't say something if you're not going to do that. And the other kicker is that their service manager can extend the warranty to keep business and it was a vehicle only a few months out of warranty.
Because of this, I call Dade City Transmission down the road, and get an estimate for 2700 new and installed with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty. I tell them to send a tow truck.
So, we called Jim Browne back and paid the bill. The man knew when we went to pay the bill we were getting it towed "down the road". When the tow truck got there a half an hour later we received the run-a-round and they would not release the vehicle to him. Very disappointed in the professionalism of Jim Browne's service of everything after the phone call.
Poor service - bsargent
My 2018 Vette has a warble noise in the rear. They changed one axle and said that fixed it. It didn’t. Then took me a ride in another one and said it’s a normal noise. It isn’t. They refused to do any further work on it saying they spent enough time on it. Won’t even call GM or their rep. Poor
Hidden costs/ Poor Service - Leftynomor
Beware hidden costs and add ons during purchase. They are notorious for adding fabric protector/ paint protector packages for an additional $1000. They additionally will charge $800 in dealers fees and another $600 in documentation fees. These additions consistently negate any incentives offered by Chevrolet. Blanche Bosley is good at getting you to come in but never follows through and misrepresents incentives.
Their service department has taken a quick downturn in quality. The last few times I have had my car serviced, it has come back with filthy hand prints, no valve caps, and it sat on the lift for an hour and a half with my flashers on while the technician sat there on his phone eating lunch.
The only saving grace in service is Cathy Davidson. She is truly customer friendly and competent. Unfortunately, she doesnt service your vehicle.
Ripped Off - UnhappyJohn
I had my Toyota Corolla repossessed and rented a car in order to look for another car. I purchased a 2007 Mercedes Benz from ABC for $9,999. After I got it home within 2 months I had to put $741.00 for engine work. The people who did the work (an A+ rated shop) advised me it needed another $1,000.00 or so work done. Then I checked with Kelly Blue Book and found the car booked for around $2,500.
I gave ABC Autos $2,500 down and made 4 payments of $250.00. ABC also charged me 22% interest.
I went to a reputable new car dealer and they advised me to drive the car back to ABC and park it and leave the keys in it. I did return it after paying them a total of $3,500, $1,000 more than book value.
Sure they put me in a car when I was in need but the price of being in need was ferocious. I bought a new car with $300 down and half the interest ABC Autos charged me.
BE AWARE!!! this company preys on needy people. You don't have to be treated that way. there are plenty of good-hearted dealers out there.
Awful experience & terrible service from Buddy himself - UnhappyCustomer
My car is worse off leaving than when it arrived, bubbles in the paint, damage still not repaired. After 33 days I went to get my car for the 5th time and Buddy Foster himself was there he came out of the back office and screamed at me "You better just take your car today and leave we are done fixing it, nothing is wrong with it" I asked him to go out and look at the car with me when we approached I saw a 6-8 inch rubber mark on the front bumper that had just been replaced and painted by them. Needless to say after terrible service and having to bring the car back 5 times and another time not even leaving with the car I will never return to Buddy Foster because they do a crappy job and because Buddy himself thinks he can yell and scream at a customer. I had Jim tell me one of the times that I came up there to get it "Well you are just pickier than most customers" Which means that Buddy Foster thinks it is okay to not repair things, leave bubbles in the paint and clear coat because most customers aren't as picky as me. Buddy himself should be ashamed of his behavior and how he spoke to me it was totally unacceptable and there were several witnesses to see the show he put on. The repairs needed for my car should have taken at most a week however at 33 days it still needs work done and we be going to another shop to have the damaged caused by Buddy Foster repaired the proper way. I would no recommend that anyone bring their vehicles to BF for any repairs not only because the work is terrible but because of the owner don't give that rude guy your business.
Friendly and efficient - Thomas Kochansky
I had an oil change and lube, tire rotation, and nitrogen fill on the tires. The representative was friendly and efficient and the work was done promptly.
Got a tow from Mike today: excellent service. They said... - Hintertreppe
Got a tow from Mike today: excellent service. They said he'd be there within 40 minutes; he was there in 15.
Mike was courteous, competent and worked quickly and efficiently. Even though I was at war with AAA, the interaction with Mike made my day go a lot better.
