Overall I had a good experience at elder ford. I was greeted by Donnie Shinholser in sales. I had a specific car I wanted and he was able to find it for me and ultimately sell it to me. The car was serviced while I waited and during the wait Donnie checked several times to make sure I didn't need anything and kept me updated on the process and timeline. The detail staff did an excellent job cleaning the car before I got it. The service area is very impressive, each work station has pre plumbed fluids for quick service and the entire work area is climate controlled.

I've always hated dealerships for service because they force you to deal with a pushy, unkowledgeable salesperson instead of a mechanic. Not only did Veterans Ford not try and up-sell me every stupid, useless service imaginable, they were perfectly ok when I said I wanted to wait on certain services. Huh? It's like the Narnia of dealership service departments. They also seemed knowledgeable and happy to be working there. My first trip I was confused because I was treated like a human being, you could have conversations with them instead of just them talking at you. Sadly my car was totaled and my needs have changed (minivan), so I went with a Honda. I have a service contract with it, or else I would have no problem bringing it to Veterans Ford for service.

Robert Bauman Helped me out with the 2016 F150 I just bought last week. I was having issues with the backup sensors not working. He helped me get my truck in at my convenience and even offered to put me in a loaner if needed. Found the issue with a harness and took care of it. He is also helping me with all the questions I have. Great and speedy service.

Incompetent and lack of service - seankw
I've had both good and bad experiences with this location. Back in Feb or so I went in to get transmission fluid changed was.yhere 2 hours. Service advisor didn't stay on top of it and come to find out they had new guy who dis not know how to change the transmission. Fluid in a 2013 mustang. I took it few days ago to have oil changed and differential fluid changed. Rick was my advisor very good. However, I called because of squeaking when I went over bumps. Figured shocks struts or something. Well that day I was transferred to Derrick which I left message never called me
Called today first guy I got acted like my questio s were some big mystery. I'm not a mechanic but would've either said bring it in or give a couple possibilities. He was a total baffoon. Last time I called they transferred me to Kens answering machine left message explaining I wasn't happy and just wanted to know what the squeaking could be. Still no call. I've been going there since we bought the car 3 years ago. Also I am looking for another car for myself and want to buy my mother one. I most certainly won't be using this place. Speak to few hundred people daily and will also let them know lack of service and integrity
