Honest and trustworthy. - Ben
I have been going to Waltrip Buick since I moved to Tennessee. I have always been pleased with how I have been treated and how well myself and my car are taken care of. Eric has a great crew and I especially enjoy dealing with Dave, Jeff and Brandon. More like friends now.

Bait and switch in SERVICE Dept. - FullTimeRV
Went to them for a 45000 service which I was told included several services. What a lie. When I arrived I was told that essentially all services “included” in the 45k service were ala’cart...pay per service. Sorry, I went from a reasonably priced “package” to about $700 worth of add-ons and endless/needless upwelling.
Oh, and that was after I sat in their line for 10 min with no contact or welcome, AND stood in the hot service bay as the “advisors” stood in their AC’d cubes for another’s 10 min before being asked into an advisors cube.
Least hospitable, worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, never mind the falsehoods about their “packages.”
Oh, and Valvoline Oil Change down the street got the $350 or so I planned to give Wyatt Johnson.
Service Dept - Lori
The service dept employees, especially Jason, are very friendly and professional. They changed the oil and rotated the tires in about an hour. The waiting room is comfortable and warm. They always do a great job.
Warranty work issues - Denali7
2017 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali Ultimate (GMs flagship truck) took it in for gasoline in oil. Crankcase was heavily contaminated and engine oil highly diluted with gasoline from a leaking HPFP. truck had approx 15,000 miles on it. HPFP was replaced and I asked about any engine damage advised that no engine damage was done? That is flat out wrong, anyone with any mechanical knowledge knows that damage was done to bearing surfaces and piston sleeves when washed with gasoline. It is just hard to determine the extent of the damage. Asked for future oil changes and oil analysis to be done to check for damage. Request was flat out denied.
Next problem I had was a plastic dash trim piece that sticks up above the dash pad on the passenger side and is highly visible when driving. They refused to replace and typed in the following on the service request work order. Dash trim piece "Operating as Designed" Now COME ON MAN what is up with this dealerships service department? If they treat a owner of a new 64k vehicle that way I cannot imagine how badly they abuse a used car owner here. Anyway that is the reason that I am here today. Just ran into a brick wall with no resolution in site. Buyer Beware
collision center does substandard work - donna
had some minor body work done, and when i picked it up and drove off, the radio didn't work anymore. It worked on the way there, and nobody had it but them. they denied any responsibility and wanted $75 to "diagnose" it. soon after, a piece of the body work done FELL OFF of my car, and i had to return it. they repaired it for free, but it took another week. the worst bodyshop experience of my life.
