We are very pleased. - Jcooper28704
We purchased a used 2014 Ford Flex from this company. It had 39,000 miles on it and it was exactly what we were looking for. We had the balance of the factory warranty left, a lifetime powertrain warranty, and we purchased a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty. We had it for two months and decided to take it on a vacation to Florida. On our way down the engine locked up. We had the vehicle towed to a local dealership in Savannah,GA. The local dealership said the damage wasn't covered due to excessive engine sludge. We had the car serviced the day before leaving on vacation at a (local to us) shop that services all of the fleet vehicles for the company I work for. I asked them how the oil looked and the said it looked fine. So Gateway Ford sent their tow truck from Tennessee down to Savannah,GA to get our vehicle, ordered and installed a new engine, and paid the dealership in GA for the work they had done. It did take a few weeks but it didn't cost us anything. Gateway Ford came through for us in a big way. Thank you again, Kevin and all of the others involved! I would definitely purchase another vehicle from these people.

Quit and easy - Kim
Eric Freeman and the Rusty Wallace team went above and beyond to satisfy us. They didn’t have the color vehicle i was looking for on the lot but they quickly found me exactly what I wanted. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be because I can’t imagine the car buying process being any early anywhere else. And because I’m a repeat customer I know I’m going to receive excellent service on my vehicle. Go see Eric!
Excellent - Tommy
Howard Rose went above and beyond. No hassle. Gained a lifetime costumer. Best car buying experience we have ever had. Will highly recommend to all our Friends and Family

Friendly staff! Helped me with the buying experience and took the time to answer all my questions, even after I drove off the lot. The service department help me with locking code when I couldn't find it. I found the experience both enjoyable and fun.
last minute assistance - ceebee
had noises when turning in my Edge, guessed it to be block in AC drain line. BUT I crossed my fingers, as I drove into service dept. late in the day, around 3pm, hoping they could take care of it, as I was traveling. Scott (service tech)came out and talked to me, and they took me right in. I was out in an hour. Many thanks to everyone here, the ladies and cashier were so nice, also!
Fairway doesn't care!!! - Putindanger
This dealership sold me a 2013 escape. Within 10 minutes, every major sensor was going crazy and the car died on the way home. They agreed to fix it, a wiring issue and wheel sensor. It took 3 weeks to get the sensor in and 1 day for the sensor to go bad again causing a dangerous accident! They charged me $1000 more than the quoted price because Capital One agreed to pay it, they added gap insurance and an extended warranty without asking. The SUV that I was told was $11,900 ended up being financed for more than $15,000! They were aware of the problems with the vehicle because in the 31 days before it was totaled, I had been in the lot 3x to discuss it! They ripped me off and put my family in danger! The accident was due to a malfunction in the wheel sensor, the one that was replaced 2 days before the accident! It was a major accident that resulted in the other vehicle flipping and all occupants going by ambulance to the hospital! They were nearly killed and I now have permanent never damage! Don't put your family at risk, stay away from dealerships that don't care if you live or die!! I have been in since the accident, not even an "I'm sorry," only a "things happen."
Worst Experience Ever ! - belvaevans
I have purchased Fords for over 20+ years. My grandfather retired from Ford so I have always been a loyal Ford customer. My recent visit at Ken Wilson Ford was a complete disaster. I called and made an appointment with the Service department to have my electric seat repaired. My husband took the Explorer in and was told it would be approx. 2 hours. He was there most of the day only to find out they couldn't fix it and needed to order parts to replace the entire switch out. He was told once the part comes in we will call you. After waiting 2 weeks no call we called them and was told oh yea we have the parts. I then made another appointment and made arrangement's to get to and from work. We dropped the car off letting them have it for the entire day again we were told 2 hours max this time. That evening at 5:30 I go to pick up the vehicle and was told sorry we didn't get to it today not sure what happened but its not been touched. Keep in mind this is after Caleub Rice was talking with a lady in the office for 10 + minutes as I waited then someone else who worked there went back a 2nd time to tell him I was waiting on him. Then after he finally came over there he couldn't find the paperwork and then went to the bay area and took an additional 4 minutes to read a text and continuing texting. So not only was my car not fixed Caleub displayed horrible customer service. I typically purchase my Fords from another dealership but this time I purchased a used car and Ken Wilson happened to have it - I have never been so disgusted before. In the end my car was fixed the following day at 2pm so yet another day without my vehicle and family driving me around.
I have owned Ford vehicles my whole life. My experience... - FLMOWNER
I have owned Ford vehicles my whole life. My experience with buying Fords as been acceptional and I must point a particular dealership that stands out from them all. Don Smith Ford. I have started using the internet now to do all my research on the Ford vehicles. I have always dealt with Don Smith Ford so I decided to search the web for them and came across a website that was easy to use. It was informational, quick, and well structured which made it easy to use. After I inputed all the information I was needing , I immediately received a email stating that someone would get intouch with me via my email or phone number. It was about 1 hour from then, I did infact receive a email from Kenneth Brown (Internet Manager) and Don Smith Ford. He had stated that he had several vehicles that fit the discription of what I was looking for. He did all the research for me as far as (rebates, discounts) etc. By the end of the day he had a final price for me , that was most impressive. That following morning I showed up to the dealership and met Mr. Brown. He had the majority of the paper already filled out which cut down my waiting time. We had agreed to the price the night before and my transaction was smooth sailing. Because of his product knowledge, and ability to give me the information I need in a timely matter I have to say that was the best service I have receieved ever , when buying a vehicle. Thank you Don Smith Ford and Kenneth BrownMr. McKensey
I found exactly what I wanted. Went to the dealership... - zjml33
I found exactly what I wanted. Went to the dealership gave the vehicle a good look over then went inside to ask to drive it. They let me drive it then I came back to ask for a price they gave me a direct honest out the door price with taxes and fees included. I wanted to do the financing through my bank so they gave me a deal sheet and I went got the loan and signed right up. It was very quick, prompt, and easy.
Great car buying experience! - JP-New Ford owner
We had the BEST buying experience we have ever had!
After deciding on the new car we wanted and doing a lot of research on price, I ask John Jarnagin, Jr. of Jarnagin Ford to find the car we wanted. I gave him the details of the car we wanted (including the interior and exterior color) and then I ask him for the best price he could get the car for. He located the vehicle that I was looking for. He also gave me the best price that I had found for the exact vehicle that I wanted and had already priced at several Knoxville dealerships and requested their "best out the door price" in writing. I did not share any information from one dealership to another on the prices that I had obtained. I only had this information for my purposes of finding the best deal for the same car. The other dealerships did not like giving me the information, however at Jarnagin Ford they gave me the "out the door price" without any question or any hassle. This is the way it should be at every dealership! Every dealership I visited was higher in price for the same car (except color). John located the car we wanted and arranged for it to be delivered for our purchase. We purchased the car and we are happy to have done business with them. We found this dealership to be very honest and efficient. They also do not nickel and dime you to death with every fee you can think of (believe me there are a lot of fees included that we as customers should not be paying)
We would recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a good honest price! If they do not have the car in stock, have them look for it like we did. We plan on doing business with them again in the future.
Hope this review helps you in finding a great car sales experience. Believe me the drive is worth the money you will save!
Sincerely, Boyd, Julie and Rebekah Pratt (Knoxville, TN)
