I hate buying cars – well, actually I love cars but I really dislike car dealers. Ruby Auto Group took the car dealer out of the equation and made my recent car purchase the most enjoyable I ever had. I told Jon Ruby what car I was looking for – right down to the accessories and trim and he found it for me. By contrast, it took me three months and untold numbers of phone calls to buy my last car and I didn’t get exactly what I wanted.
I never had to listen to sales pitches for things that would increase the dealer’s profit but not the life, value or my enjoyment of my car (extended warranty/undercoating/financing) or any talk of “he’ll probably throw your offer in my face, but I’ll take it to the sales manager”.
What I did get was exactly what I wanted for considerably less than I would have paid if I had found it on my own – Jon more than made up for what I paid him in savings alone – plus he handled everything. He also took my car in trade and gave me exactly what Kelly’s/Edmunds said it was worth in trade.
I recommend Ruby Auto Group highly – if you’re busy, just don’t like the car buying experience and want to let an expert negotiate for you.

Waste of Time - frustrated customer
I have never been more disappointed in the service we received from a car dealership than what we experienced this afternoon at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn. After calling to confirm an Infiniti QX60 was available, we were told to come in and meet with Chris to check out the car and take it for a test drive. We drove 30 minutes out of our way only to arrive and find out that the car was not even at the dealership and had been taken to be detailed at 9 a.m. that morning. I actually thought the salesman was joking at first. Why would they tell us at 2:30 p.m. that the car was there and to come on in? And, when the car wasn't there, how convenient that the salesman asked us if we wanted to test drive a QX70, not even close to what we were interested in buying. I'm insulted by the service and shocked that somehow this dealership continues to be in business. Everywhere you look at the dealership, there is a sign about their 5 star service. What a joke. It's a 0 star rating from this customer.

I was able to get a same day appointment for a clog in one of the air conditioning hoses. They scheduled around my work schedule & was in & out of the dealership within 20 minutes. I was helped by Ju-Marri Sims who explained the work done, vacuumed out my car & put it through the car wash. I am very happy with their service & will definitely return here!

Me and my wife have purchased many vehicles from Al Spitzer Ford, and it is always a professional, stress free environment. This shows from the sales floor to the finance department to the service department. Because of this we will continue to include Spitzer Ford in future vehicle searches. Tex Welch was my latest sales associate and put me in an F150 that met my needs both in package and price. As always, Brett Gander in finance was very professional and made sure the numbers worked. We all want to walk away from a dealership thinking we “got a steal”, but one thing I know from experience is that when you leave Spitzer Ford, you know you received honest fair deal.

I'm moving and needed a cold weather car with a certain combination of features that's next to impossible to find in central Texas. Buying a used car can be stressful, and even moreso when you're shopping from a distance. There's always the worry that you'll make an expensive mistake.
Good news: Carena only sells great cars. Top quality, beautiful inside, and well maintained. They have them examined (and if necessary, serviced) by an independent third party shop. I defy anyone to buy a crappy vehicle here - it won't happen.
I found a beautiful SUV at a great price, thousands less than a comparable vehicle that was closer to home. The CarGurus top seller designation was a nice plus - they show a ton of photos and post the Carfax right there in the listing, which makes it even easier to be sure it's the right one for you. Mine even had a satellite radio trial membership set up.
Chris answered my many questions very thoroughly and quickly via email. He was off the next day, so I called Eric to give them a deposit, but he wouldn't take my money. There were a few tiny scratches (which were being professionally fixed that same day) but he wanted to be sure I was making an informed decision, so he insisted on showing me the photos before letting me give them anything. Of course the scratches were of no concern, but the level of honesty knocked my socks off. The staff at Carena are exceptionally honorable and decent people, and very easy to work with.
When my plane came into Cleveland, they sent a really cool person named Joan to pick me up at the airport. They offered it as a courtesy service, so people must come from all over the country to buy here, and now I see why. You can also have your car sent to you, which is super convenient. Carena treats customers like royalty, and the car I bought was even nicer than it looked online. I can't believe my luck - just a fantastic experience start to finish. If you're even considering buying a car from Carena, don't miss out on working with them. You can't do better.

So I'm a lil Upset when you get a xxx F-150 that seem to be in the shop more then on the Highway!!! This time is more Electronics going bad an I just got it back from so they say Other electronic issues,,!!!! this tim is the Radio last time a circuit card to operate this system,after several complaint during my warranted time line this was Band aided an told it was good to go, so now the Warranty is gone all of a sudden it needs 800.00 parts Not covered by Extended Warranty,??? GO FIGURE,,No Back to my reason for writing this COMPLAINT!!! I My truck was dropped off on October 24th for these Items GPS locking up, Dash going Blank like all the other times, Sirius radio cutting in an out, Cell phone disconnecting!!! SO first day not done diagnosing!! second Day needs a Radio will order an take 5 days!! WOW Ford Cannot get parts to a dealer ship in 5 Days,,SAD!!! Now after a week I'm told They will not have the Part for 3 to 4 weeks do to back-order??? xxx my part was ordered a week ago!!! How can FORD have a Vendor that cannot deliver parts in 72 hours in today's world..this is Utter xxxxxxxx an I am not a happy camper!!!

I bought the truck six months back an wanted to wait before I made a review. The things I liked about Outdoors Unlimited from the starts was the good selection of trucks. They were well described and matched the pictures and descriptions posted online. There were no sales people pushing stuff at me. The man I dealt with listened to me and what my needs were for a truck and then showed me what he had to offer. He knew all the options, features and axle ratios etc. I was there a few times before I found a truck that was exactly what I wanted. At no point was I pressured to buy. Since then the truck has been great and I am very happy.

Today we bought a new Malibu. Our sales associate was Darren Putt, and I think everyone should request him when looking to buy a car! I was undecided on which two cars to go for, but Mr. Putt was extremely patient, helpful, fun, and easy to talk to. We could tell that he genuinely wanted us to be happy with our decision. There was only one small instance that occurred today which is why I couldn't rate the experience a 5. When talking with the sales manager, there was a misunderstanding which led to the sales manager becoming loud, unprofessional, and just very unwelcoming. I thought he could have handled the misunderstanding a lot more politely, being he was the sales manager. He was very quick to become frustrated with us. At the end, he did apologize however. I still highly recommend this dealership and Darren as a sales associate!
In the finance department, we dealt with Mike Shaheen. He was really friendly, helpful, and also easy to talk to! He helped us get in and out of the office quickly.
Overall, a good experience and I would definitely return to Spitzer Chevrolet in North Canton!

Botched service on a 2014 Lincoln MKZ - Rick
My wife's 2014 MKZ had a broken clip on the driver's side mirror. At the time all electronics on the mirror worked fine. The mirror would just not stay clipped firmly in place. She took the vehicle to Spitzer Ford Hartville to have it repaired. Once the work was completed and she brought the car home she discovered that although the initial problem was fixed, the mirror now would not move correctly and that the motor was damaged. Upon taking the car back to Spitzer for the NEW repair when she picked the vehicle up she was told that she now needed to buy a new battery because they hade to jump the car twice during service. She declined the new battery only to find when she got in the car to drive home that the reason the car has issues starting for them was that her key fob's battery was low and needed replaced. This was displayed as a warning message on her dash board which apparently the "Certified Technicians" were unable to decipher. Upon returning home she then discovered that her trunk would now not function and took the car back to Spitzer. After making her wait more than 1 1/2 hours they informed her that she needed a new trunk module but since they could not determine whether jumping the car caused the issue or not they would sell it to her at cost. Upon researching the manual the 1st Troubleshooting method listed is to disconnect the battery and then reconnect to see if the problem corrects. Upon doing this the trunk deck lid operates just fine. So, for what should have been a simple repair this service department created several additional issues due to their blatant incompetence and wanted to charge us for their mistakes. We will not be returning to this dealership for any reason and definitely would advise anyone to especially stay away from the Service Department.

It was time to turn in my 2015 Buick Regal and I was exploring options for a new car or whether to buy out my old lease. George Breckling was very knowledgeable, supportive, and patient. He answered all of my questions and cheerfully spent an afternoon taking me on 3 test drives. At first, I wasn't "in love" with the Buick Encore that George recommended (I've never really cared for SUV-type vehicles), & had made the decision to go home & continue my search another day. However, he worked with the sales manager to get me a great discount package (loyalty bonus, factory incentive, educator discount) & a monthly payment that is $35 less than what I've been paying. A.J. Borisa, the Finance Manager, made the paperwork process efficient & easy to understand. The cherry on the sundae, though, was when the Products Specialist (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten his name!) walked me through all of the amazing features & technology of the Encore. He made me really excited about the car & glad I had made the decision to lease it. Overall, it was a great experience without the high-pressure sales tactics & guilt trips that many dealerships use. I've ended up with a vehicle that better fits my budget and driving habits & needs- even my insurance premiums have gotten much lower. This is my third time leasing with Jay Buick. The first experience was not good (high-pressure sales tactics & guilt trips!), but the last two with Mr. Breckling have been outstanding, and I look forward to working with Jay Buick again in the future.
