Horrible service department and sales people that lie - PBC
I bought a 2015 Jeep a year ago. During the sales process, there were issues with the battery and starting the vehicle. I had the sales person write up that if I had issues with the battery, they would replace for free. A month later, the battery died and it cost me $250 since they would not honor the free replacement.
Not even a year later, the new battery failed. I took the battery out of the Jeep and walked into the parts department to exchange the battery, since it was clearly within the 3 year replacement warranty. I can't believe the series of events that unfolded.
Prior to taking the battery for replacement, I had it checked at Autozone and charged it at home overnight. Nothing helped as it still would not start the Jeep. Logically, taking it to the dealer should result in a quick replacement. Not the case.
The parts department refused to look at the battery since it was not in the vehicle. I expressed that the vehicle would not start. Why should I have it towed to the dealer if I can simply get a new battery and be on my way. I spoke with management who insisted their policy required that the vehicle was present, with battery in place, to run diagnostics. I expressed this was not practical since I could not start the vehicle and towing it would cause additional delays in getting to work (I was missing the morning at work to get this replaced).
So I went back home, placed the bad battery back in the Jeep and got it to the service department only to find out I had to make an appointment. After waiting over an hour for my appointment, the service person took in the vehicle and said it would have to charge over 3 hours before they could run the tests. I didn't hear anything after the 3 hours passed so I reached out and was told the battery failed after 30 minutes charging and was replaced, covered under warranty.
If I would have bought a new battery initially at Wal-Mart or Autozone, I would have walked out immediately with a replacement. Instead, trusting my dealer, I lost almost a complete day of work - to swap out a battery - ridiculous.
I will never buy anything or have any vehicle serviced at Progressive. I will also tell everyone I know to never deal with Progressive. The sales people lie and the service is horrible.
Serpentini Collision Center Orrville - Rmonroe123
Recently by pickup incurred major collision damage and I searched no further than this location for my extensive repairs! The staff there from Ray to Phil, and to Robert performed excellent service from start to finish. Phil managed the repairs and Robert is an awesome technician that did an outstanding job! They take a great deal of pride in their work, and it shows through excellent service. I recommend this facility and staff highly. Thanks Phil, Robert and Ray.
They are pretty cool - Antonelli03
They are very nice. It was fun sitting there deciding what I wanted, and picking on the sales rep. They sent through a lot trying to find me something to drive.
Service Rip Off - Janet1622
Took my 2013 GMC ACADIA in due to both headlight low/high beam not working. Paid $110 for diagnostic test. Received a call stating that both headlamp assembly need replaced and the cost would be $2,400.00 to repair. Did not make sense to me. I took my car to another mechanic and he tested the bulbs. Bulbs were burned out. Replaced both bulbs at 29.99 each and 60.00 labor, little over $160.00 and both lights working again. We have bought two cars from this dealership and had our cars serviced there. Never again!!! I don’t know i if they thought me being a woman would know no better or what but it’s a disgrace. I have recommended this service department to others, no more. When I tell my story to people they are disgusted as well.
Outstanding experience - Vetteman

LOOK Out Bait and Switch employed - Chrissy
I'd been working a deal with Adam for a couple weeks. We had it hammered out to a certain price. Before leaving to go to the dealership, I specifically asked him if indeed the quoted price was exactly what he was selling a car to me for. He assured me it was.
I specifically reiterated to not fool me by making me come all the way to Rittman (I don't live close) only to jack the price up. He assured me he wouldn't do that.
He let me take a test drive but beforehand, I asked AGAIN if the price was going to be what he quoted. He assured me AGAIN that it was and so I took the test drive.
When I got back, he hit me with, "I made a mistake". It would be $1000 more than he put in writing through email to me. I guess psychologically he was hoping I'd fall in love with the car and just have to have it, regardless of the price hike.
Since it was his mistake, he should've offered some way to make it right. But he didn't, other than apologize over and over that it was his mistake. He also said they weren't making any money on the deal!
Adam, we both made a mistake today. Your mistake was giving me a bad price, and mine was for believing you and coming to your dealership!
I should've known something was off when he asked if we'd like something to drink, coffee or water, and we chose water, whereby instead of 2 bottles of water, he comes back carrying 2 small styrofoam cups of warm water!! LOL 😂

We purchased a used 2011 GMC Terrain that was advertised as having Bluetooth by both the salesman and what was listed in their online advertisement/sales post on their website. This is the same add the salesman pulled up and I even specifically asked about Bluetooth capability. We went up in what we wanted to spend in our price range thinking it had these features and we would not have to pay to install something that would give me the Bluetooth capability. That is the ONLY reason why we made the deal. We came back the next day to finish the deal and sign the papers, of course, they didn't bring the car out until after we were done, and before we leave we find out it doesn't have it. After we got home we pulled the add back up and it does list BOTH Bluetooth and hands-free calling(OnStar). We contacted them hoping they would make the situation right, and all we got was "sorry for your luck..." literally the salesman response was "well it does have hands-free through OnStar..." That is complete false advertisement, they had in all caps "BLUETOOTH" in the description, not just under the listed features, For the record, it was listed as having, in all caps, "BLUETOOTH" in the description not just under the listed features, and then again a little further in the ad as having BOTH Bluetooth and On-star Hands-Free calling... NOT just hands-free calling, and NO they are not the same. I waited until after their response to write any reviews giving them the chance to rectify their mistake. With as much business as this dealership does I'm shocked at how they handled this. Since we have contacted them they have conveniently taken the add down, but we still have the listing. Their response was they would not make it right in any way nor would they take the car back, so you better make sure before you sign anything that they didn't lie to you about anything!
Doug Chevrolet is now Serra Chevrolet...no change in service - scootr68
Stopped in on 12/1 to test drive a car for our 17 year old son. Found a 2014 Focus for 4995 as is. We took the car for a test drive and the transmission was lurching and searching for a gear. Decided to pass. Sales woman Amy brought up a 12 Focus for us to drive...it was so disgusting inside there was no way we were going to drive it. I did re-visit the 14 Focus because it had a recall on the PCM for the Transmission and I thought maybe that would do the trick to correct the issue. I texted Amy that i would like to come back out with a code reader since she said they had no techs to test it. Didn't get a response for quite a while. She mentioned the techs could do it Monday. I texted a few times and not one response at all from her. This is the same place that blew up my phone/email and texts trying to get my business but now all of a sudden there is zero communication. Probably for the best seeing as how disgusting they keep their "as-is" vehicles. I fail to understand why a simple detail could not be performed instead of subjecting customers to a filthy nasty interior. The funniest line she mentioned was about the 12 Focus...claimed the customer babied it. No way in gods green earth that they babied it. Horrible looking inside and out. The tells me no way did they keep up with the maintenance of it. I can't really blame Amy other than lack of communication as management would be the one to set the atmosphere and protocol of how used vehicles are handled. Was my first time there and certainly my last time. "People Pleasin?" c'mon man...not anywhere close.
Thanks, Eric Johnson - florean316
