This was the 2nd vehicle purchased at Don Ayers in the last 3 months for my family. Andy, Shannon, and Joe were all fantastic to work with! Both vehicles they had to find what we were looking for at a different dealership and worked out a trade with them to get us the vehicle we really wanted. Not high pressure at all, but they were all very knowledgeable and just wanted to help. We have already referred someone to Bill on their used car lot and actually got a referral check in the mail from it because they bought and had a great experience as well! Everyone there has been extremely helpful.

We all hear about how bad car dealerships are with customers. My story is different, in dealing with Gurley Leep Honda’s Ryan Glover, GM, it was outstanding. That is why I am writing this...
In 2017, I purchased a 2012 CRV with 35,000 miles from Elkhart Honda and purchased the extended warranty for $1400. I was told the warranty was for 100,000 miles. Since I put 20-24,000 miles per year in my travels, I thought that was acceptable.
Earlier in 2019 in I traded that CRV in and requested a refund of my warranty. When I received my check, it was for $250. I only had the vehicle for 20 months and had 68,000 miles on it. I asked for an explanation on how they determined keeping $1150 since I had NO claim on the warranty.
I was informed that the extended warranty was UP TO 100,000 miles. I told them that no, I was told for 100,000 miles from my purchase…135,000 miles.
When I returned to Elkhart in the spring, I visited the dealership and ultimately spoke with Mr. Glover. He researched the issue, found several mistakes, and that the contract was valid until 2022 - the five years 100,000 miles. He informed me the dealership will make up some of the difference the insurance company refused and issued me a check, so I received half of my payment back.
Mr. Glover did right by me. I will continue to have my vehicles serviced at Gurley Leep and if in the area when I need another vehicle, I will go to this dealership.

Don’t recommend the body shop - Unhappy customer
I own a Honda and took my car for some minor body repairs at the Honda Body shop. They painted the rear trunk a different color from the rest of the car, and when I pointed it out to them they said,”No one will notice.” They kept my car an extra 2 days to repaint a small area, and it still seems off colored. They placed the Pilot emblem back on crooked and also did not replace the AWD and Touring emblems and never even told me. I only noticed it because I saw another car with the proper emblems on the back and realized mine were gone, So highly upset and disappointed, I will not take a car back there ever again.
Paid for Nothing - AJ
My vehicle stalled and had it towed in to be diagnosed and fixed. I received a call and was told that they are unable to power up the vehicle because "no power was reaching the engine" due to my "remote starter". Two solutions were proposed; Have them remove and rewire the remote vehicle for a cost of about $350 or take it back to those that installed the remote starter as it is the reason for my problem. I paid $49 and had my vehicle towed to bestbuy. Upon arrival, it took the vehicle electrician 55 seconds to pull his head out of the engine and said to me, you have a blown fuse. You might have bumped into something or ... He told me. As a matter of fact I was hit in an accident on the same side 4 months ago. Replace the fuse with one I bought at another honda dealership for $17.
I went back to Penske dealership and told my maintenance advisor showing him the blown fuse expressing my disappointment that my vehicle wasn't diagnosed correctly and the didn't need any rewiring. He continued to blame the remote starter. Bottom line is I don't believe that my vehicle was thoroughly checked for the problem it presented. All parts were left on the vehicle floor open and never returned back. I took pictures to use in my other reviews. The remote starter was installed with a t-harness and you can easily unplug it and bypass it without needing to rewire or "splice" any wires as none were as my honda representative said. I left very disappointed. Paid for my vehicle to be towed twice. Advisor expressed surprise when I reminded him of the accident I told him I was in.
I am honestly looking at buying a van and was torn between an oddessey or a Pacifica. This has given me pause and this is not a dealership I will go near again or recommend. Thoroughly NOT IMPRESSED.
Lynn Wetzel refuses to deal with certain serious problems - WillMacAdams
In all good faith, I bought a 2017 Honda Accord Touring. When I spoke to various people at the dealership about the low mileage I was getting (the reputed excellent mileage one of the prime reasons I chose a Honda), I was given a variety of reasons for this low mileage, mileage no where near what Honda said I should be getting. None of the explanations helped increase the mileage. Finally, I sent a registered letter to Mr. Wetzel about this problem. He never had the courtesy nor the honesty to reply to my letter. LET THE BUYER BEWARE. If something is seriously wrong with your car, in all likelihood, Mr. Lynn Wetzel is going to do everything he can not to respond to your problem since it will be money out of his pocket. In my experience, he refused to deal honestly and ethically with me. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

This is an extension of the old car dealer stigma. I was lied to, had totally incompetent service. They could no alighn the rear wheels on my Pilot. I destroyed 2 sets of tires before they gave up and sent me to an independent who was astonished at the level of ineptitude. They are a GM dealer in Niles and have ectended that greasy haired white belt ethos. Avoid at all costs !
