The easiest and nicest car buying experience I have had. - Lovingmy500x
Kevin Roller aprouched us outside listened to what we were wanting to “loo” at. He was patient and very nice. He had to make several trips inside to get keys of different cars. We ended up going for a test drive and signing papers on a new car. Pogue employees were all nice and to talk and helpful. I like how they said to call if we have questions even if it’s later down the line.

Great Experience!!! - Durham123
Kelly Linne and the folks at Cross Motors in Louisville, KY are just awesome! I purchased a car from them and NEVER stepped foot in the dealership! They answered all my questions, gave recommendations on various things, gave me a good fair price, and helped me coordinate shipment of my vehicle right to my house in North Carolina! They walked me through all the necessary paperwork! They were just down right fabulous!!! I highly recommend them...

The people were very helpful and professional. - craig
We purchased a used 2017 Rav4 from Chad Audas. Most of our communication took place on line with emails to Chad. We received quick information and purchased the vehicle easily. He and the other employees were very friendly and helpful when we completed the small amount of paperwork the evening we purchased the car. We appreciate their cooperation, and we are so proud of the vehicle we were able to purchase from them for our daughter. We look forward to doing business with them again some day.

Fair, courteous, professional - Steve
My wife and I worked with Joe Lewis in the purchase of a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon; and, the trade of our 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Joe was fair, courteous, and very professional. In about two hours we drove away in our new Jeep. The experience was unlike any other car-buying experience we have encountered. No rush to judgement on valuations— or tricky math, fair-minded discussions, and ample review of available vehicles in an environment of courtesy and professionalism.
The entire team that we encountered was terrific.
No signed papers after purchase. Transmission goes out 3 day - Unhappy customer
We were not given a copy of the signed papers of our purchase agreement. We requested them and the dealership has refused three times to comply.
The truck we bought had red transmisson fluid when we bought it. Three days later the transmission stops working and fluid is black and burnt. Sale person told us it had been checked out by their tech before we agreed to buy the truck. We trusted them. We were wrong to do that.
Now we have non working vehicle and no paperwork after writing them a check of over $20,000.00. No title either.
The dealership wants us to have the truck towed to their dealership for them to look at it, but refuse to tell us what charges they will charge us of we do this. They claim they will pay for the tow, but we fear they will try and make repairs at an inflated cost to make more profit off of us.
The BMV told us to get an attorney. When I told the dealership this they refuse to answer any questions in an email. No answers about the cost of towing the truck back home after they look at it. No answers to why we were not given our paperwork in the envelop they handed us. No answers to why there is a 16,000 mileage inconsistency on the car fax. No answer to why we do not have a title to this truck since it is paid in full. No answers as to whether or not they will fix this truck they sold us with a questionable transmission that seems to us to have been doctored up just to move it off the lot.
Beware of this dealership.
I thought you couldn't sell a vehicle without a clear title in the State of Indiana. So why haven't we received the title and was told it might take 45 days to get our title??
Never again we will buy anything again from this dealership.
Slimy sales tactics - Msoldier20
Robert Smiley and Management at this dealership are Slimy. They Sold my mother a car 5k over market value. The sales Person told my mom she would have the best warranty available, yet he sold her a 12k warrant. Sure there are better warranties in the market. This dealership took advantage of my Mother who is a disable Vet. They Promised the world but actually gave her the Bare Minimum. With the Price she paid for the Car, she should be covered for anything wrong with that car.
We've tried to reach the dealership and ask for help on the repairs, but the dealership wouldn’t help because she recently went over the standard warrant. The car only has 20k Miles on it and is less than 2 years hold. Smh
If you don’t know about the car your interested do your research before going to this dealership. They will take advantage just to get a good bonus check.
Don’t expect any help once you drive off the Lot. Service and Management sucks.
Great sales person in Katie Flamion - RPowers
Katie was a great sales person to work with, she was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend seeing her for a vehicle!! The entire staff was great and the service was top of the line!!
How did that repair become necessary? - nobody special
I gave this dealership two stars because they have a very nice waiting room with coffee and WI-FI. Also, they have friendly staff.
I have a Jeep Wrangler that received a recall for an airbag issue. I understand many things about my Jeep because I have driven to and from the desert in California. That is over 2000 miles each way. I am very familiar with my Jeep because I am mechanically inclined and enjoy driving. I made an appointment with John Jones Jeep in Corydon, Indiana to resolve a recall issue with my airbag clockspring and some related hardware. During the day I received a call telling me they had done a free safety check and determined my Jeep needed an air filter, spark plug wires, and new spark plugs. They offered to do those items for $305.00. I thanked them for pointing that out, but I would take care of that myself. I had them lock my key in the car because I could not pick it up during normal business hours. When I arrived to pick up my Jeep, everything appeared in order, so I signaled my wife and we headed home. Jeep drivers, at least us off road lovers, pay very close attention to our vehicles. During the drive home I noticed the Jeep logo on my steering wheel was not on a level horizontal plane. It wasn't vertical or anything so drastic as that, but it was cockeyed enough to disturb me. If I kept the wheel so the logo was horizontal the Jeep tracked to the left side of the road. I decided to have them look at that the next day. When I arrived home I picked up the repair paperwork. For the first time I noticed they had attached an alignment evaluation that showed my wheels toe setting was well out of alignment. That was a surprise, so I checked for unusual tire wear that would be caused by toe in alignment issues. The tires were just fine and in fact the "Free Safety Check" said my tires were just fine. The following day I drove my Jeep a short distance and my ESP/BAS light clicked on and the car traction light illuminated. That made perfect sense to me because driving a Jeep Wrangler that is out of alignment has the steering wheel Jeep logo alignment off center. When I called the dealer they attempted to give me an appointment for the next day or two. I told them I had a warning light and since their recall repair caused the problem I wanted to take it in today. The nice lady made an appointment for me. I took the car in and told them my issue was the steering wheel being cockeyed and the warning light. After a reasonable repair time the service writer came and told me the steering wheel being cockeyed was a pre-existing condition and they were still checking out the lights. I told him absolutely not. Their recall repair that required the removal of the steering wheel and who knows what else, was what caused it. The writer was relying on information relayed from the repair tech. Rather than continuing an argument with the poor service writer I just shut up, attempted to keep my anger in check and left. I went immediately to Big O tires where I normally go for any tire or suspension issue for my cars. While waiting I called John Jones to ask how much they charged for alignment. It was $99 and if the camber needed adjustment it would be an additional $150.
I spoke with the Big O alignment specialist and he confirmed my tire's were not wearing uneven which was an indication that the alignment had not been that far off for very many miles. Big O charges $59 for alignment to include camber if needed.
Although I will not accuse anyone at John Jones Jeep of deliberately putting my wheels out of alignment, I will mention some reasons I am very suspicious.
1. The lack of tire wear being uneven indicates it happened within not very many miles.
2. The steering wheel being off center when I picked the car up. (Jeep Wrangler steering wheels can only be put on one way because of the design, so it wasn't because it was put on wrong)
3. The ESP/BAS and Anti skid warning lights are triggered by alignment issues, steering off center, Airbag clockspring problems and possibly a few other reasons.
4. My airbag clockspring was part of the recall.
5. When I was called, the plugs, wires, and aircleaner filter where the only items mentioned. It is strange to me that no mention of the alignment was made.
Did they mess up my alignment during the steering wheel removal and other repairs? Was my alignment knocked out because I declined the suggested repairs? You make your own conclusions because I have certainly come to mine. I will never have anything done at John Jones ever again. They currently have a great deal on oil change and tire rotation. I wonder how many problems will be detected during that service? My advice is steer clear of John Jones GM/Chrysler. There is way too much smoke to not have fire.

Worst Service! - AMA83
We bought a brand new Ram 2500 Diesel truck 1.5 years ago from this dealership when it was owned by Bales. Since then, the truck has been in at least six times for the same transmission issue that has not yet been resolved. Dodge/Chrysler/Ram Corporate is now involved. Do NOT buy from this dealership - or better yet, do NOT buy Ram products. Wish someone would have warned us!
Stumped! - C7 Buyer
Craziest thing happened to me today, I drove over to buy a 2010 Corvette and the Sales Manager was paged to help me, everyone else was busy with customers. I told him I would like to look at the Black Corvette, he went and got the keys for the car and this is the crazy part....The battery was dead from sitting so he tells me that they will bring it in when it warms up(This is December in MN so I guess I have to wait until April) to charge the battery, I told him I drove a long ways to see this car but it seemed to me like he had zero interest in moving this car off the lot, he never got my name or phone # to see If I wanted to come back when the car was running. We had a brief and I mean brief discussion on a trade and all he could say it that we are a one price dealer and the price is not negotiable. I drove away wondering how many cars Walser could sell if the sales manager knew how to sell a car. I assume they made him a manager because of his sales background, ability to train and customer service but today must have been a bad day for the poor sap.
Overcharged - Pat
I'm in sales, so I understand getting paid on commission. I get paid solely on it, but I also wouldn't overcharge a customer to get paid more! My grandma bought a 2018 Jeep Cherokee from the salesman named Scott on Friday, March 16, 2017. She traded in her car, and he charged her MSRP with a trade. I did the math, and with what she owed on her current car, and what they had the 2018 Cherokee advertised for, on their website, she overpaid $4,000, not including any trade value. This is based solely on what she owed, and what they advertised the car for, flat out no trade, on their website. I messaged them on Facebook to try and get an explanation, and they left it on read. If we come to a resolution, I'll give an update, but it appears to me that my hardworking grandma, is paying 11 payments more, for a car, than she should have today. That's nearly a year of unnecessary payments, for a payday for Scott Hiatt, our salesman.
ruined my car radio at service dept and will not pay to repl - saltomer
came from out of town to buy a low mileage 2014 chrysler 200 s convertible. We tested the car, and found all worked and struck a deal. We then inquired if they could pull the music files from the radio of our old Chrysler 200 and upload them to the new car. They immediately told me $50 charge. You would think on an $18k deal, that they could throw it in. This is NOT the reason for the 1 star.
The reason is that after their service tech finished pulling files from the old car, he wanted to go home..so he handed us a dealer supplied usb drive and told us how to upload them. What he did not tell us, was that the two radios are different models and that the files are not compatible. Not knowing this, we went through the process of uploading the files as instructed by the tech, only to find that the upload failed and rendered the Navigation portion of the radio useless. Come to find out that the maps for the navigation are also stored on the hard drive of the radio and that when the improper upload drive was introduced to the radio it corrupted the drive and now the maps will not load.
I have been in contact with the dealership for three days and their solution is to refund the service charge of $50, and make me responsible for replacing the $1500 radio as they freely admitted that the tech should have known that the radios were incompatible, and that the radio has been ruined because of their service dept's lack of care and knowledge. Under no scenario does a dealership not have liability when their service dept. damages or causes the damage to equipment that they worked on on your car.
Terrible experience - CarGuy618
My 2007 Jeep Compass was making a squeaking noise from the engine compartment that the last mechanic was unable to fix so I brought it in to Max Dye on 08/29/2018. They diagnosed the problem as a bad Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Since these are expensive, I asked if they were sure this would solve the problem, since I had recently replaced the alternator, serpentine belt, idler pulleys, etc. without eliminating the squeak. They assured me this would solve the problem and said the PCM has a two-year parts and labor warranty. Mike Dye even said he would personally oversee the job.
After replacing the PCM, I was then told that the new alternator also had to be replaced. They encouraged me to buy a new one from a local dealer even though the new one was still under warranty but agreed to let me get a replacement for the new alternator. I sent the part back for a replacement and the company sent a new one no charge, no questions asked. My car was still in the shop at Max Dye during this time.
The Jeep was finally ready on 09/07/2018, and I was presented with a bill several hundred dollars more than the original price. The squeak is still present and becoming more frequent, and the alternator light started coming on again this month. They refused to service the vehicle correctly, saying that this was a separate issue. Mike did not keep his word with me. I would avoid them.
