Fast friendly service - Dave
I contacted Southgate Lincoln for a oil change and tire rotation. They picked up my car from my home, left me a free loaner and dropped my car off at my home after it was ready. Both dealer reps were very polite and explained the process thoroughly.
Couldn't have asked for more - IchabodCrane
I came into Star with a grand and a 460 credit score and Tim Shea had me in a Chrysler 200 with 500 miles on it in a little under 3 months. The process was expedient and convenient and I will be recommending him to any serious car buyers I know!
Great job! - FrMark
Joe, Josh and the Service Team at Demmer once again did a great job taking care of my vehicle. They were efficient, prompt and courteous. The car was done on time, all maintenance and repairs completed. Thanks again!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! - cardriver
BUYER BEWARE...This dealership is not trustworthy and practicing old tactics to scam you out of your hard earned money. Here is my experience.
I was contacted and informed a minivan was available. I immediately got in my car and drove "across town" (from Dearborn Hts.). Upon completing the financing, all went bad. I was informed the dealership did not have the vehicle title and that it would take ten days to get it.
In short, I spent over 3 hours of my afternoon (not counting drive time) trying to purchase a vehicle for which Bob Maxey did not have the title for.
After waiting three weeks (not ten day), for the Title issue to be resolved, Janai contacted me again informing me that the Title was almost resolved and I needed to give a non-refundable deposit if I still wanted the minivan. Even though Janai has been telling me that I was the first person to get a chance to purchase the minivan once the dealer had the Title, I now needed to give a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. I no longer trusted the dealership and was informed that they sold it to someone from Belleville.
Who knows if this is true or not. Who knows how many other people have lost a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. I was told by Marty Rutkowski that was the only fair process. I think the fair process would have been to sell the minivan to the person that was already in the dealership and had completed the finance process to purchase the vehicle.
Horrible service department- incompetent technicians - Poor customer
Repeat repairs for the same issues over the past 2 yrs and 25K in warranty costs later, we're still struggling with the same issues on my MKS. If anything, poor workmanship has induced additional issues along the way. For example, grinding noise from the front driveline after PTU replacement and according to the dealership, the noise is due to a bent wheel (which is in the rear). Lost power steering on the freeway because the FEAD belt came off from repeat oil leaks and they claimed it was replaced but warranty shows incorrect part numbers. Lack if power due to wastegate reg solenoid pressure line blowing off from charge tube. Instead of diagnosing root cause, they put a hose clamp on it without eleven replacing the 50 cent line which was saturated with oil. It lasted a week. These are just a few examples...
Two incompetent service advisors (except for assistant SM Jim), incompetent techs and service manager Robert who didn't even show the common courtesy of returning my call after dealing with his extremely poor department performances, I'm done with Crest.
Perfect from start to finish - Patsy Ann
Today, a beautiful Lincoln MKC was delivered right to my door by Eva Meade. From start to finish, Eva was fantastic. She was professional, kind, extremely thorough (especially with the tutorial for this old lady who " didn't get it" over and over - and never lost her wonderful sense of humor. I would not hesitate to refer Lincoln of Troy and, especially, Eva Meade, to anyone wanting a wonderful purchasing experience. Eva Meade is not a salesperson, but rather a friend who helps folks get new cars and teaches them how to make them work. God bless this lovely woman. Thanks to all at Lincoln of Troy.
