Vern Eide Ford beat the price of anyone else around! Well worth the 7 hour roundtrip to buy from this dealership! We saw the new car we had been looking for on the dealer’s website. All negotiating was done over the phone through salesman Tommy McKibben and manager Brad Olson. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, they, along with Chris Brink, had all the paperwork ready to go. It was a smooth, easy car buying experience! We highly recommend this Ford/Lincoln dealership!

We came into the dealership just before closing and the salesman we had told us not to worry, he could stay and help us. We really appreciated his time and effort. .He was very cordial d friendly. He efficiently had the car ready for us the next day. The dealership gave us a small discount we requested and seemed like a dealership that was willing to deal with their customers. Maybe they’re ok if you’re looking for a brand new car, but don’t go anywhere near their budget lot. I was interested in a vehicle on their budget lot, but I live about 200 miles from Sioux Falls. Over about 3 weeks I emailed questions and eventually decided it was worth taking a full day away from my family of 4 small children to drive up and look. I had asked multiple times if the vehicle had had animals or smokers in it. Every time I was assured it had no odor on the interior. I set up to come see the vehicle and noticed they’d dropped the price. I arrived at the dealership after driving nearly 4 hours one-way, and it took about 20 seconds to know I’d never purchase a vehicle from this establishment. The price drop a few days earlier was due to hail damage that no one had mentioned. The vehicle not only had an almost unbearable odor of animals, but the seats were stained, there were what appeared to be vomit spots on the carpet, there were dirt and gravel in the glove box, and the list went on. Mechanically, the vehicle was a quart low on oil and it looked like the oil hadn’t been changed in a while. The vehicle was rusty, and simply put, it was a piece of junk. When I asked about price, it was inflated way beyond book prices and they refused any negotiation.
I imagine they do fine with selling new cars. There is nothing they could lie about because they’re new. But don’t expect an honest answer about vehicles on their budget lot. Take it from me: don’t waste your time there.

When I buy I used car I expect the price to be negotiable, I guess that's my fault. We recently purchased a used KIA minivan at this Ford dealer, they had 2. We wanted the red one, which was the exact same vehicle with virtually the same miles. We offered about 2% less than their asking price, not much, we were being reasonable as the asking price was not bad. And the manager came back with he was willing to fill up our tank for our 3 hours drive home. Kind of an A**hat move, then he wouldn't negotiate on the car we wanted to we had to take the other one (different color). The salesperson we were working with was nice, sweet and informative, her manager was not. During the course of our negotiations we asked how many keys came with the van, 2. But after paying for the car they gave us the second key unprogrammed and said it was no problem, just go to a KIA dealership and they will program it for us. They didn't tell us that would cost us another $60, which the dealership refused to cover when I called them. I consider this deception (the salesperson was willing to pay for it out of pocket, again its the manager I have an issue with). In the end, I am not sure I would go back, and certainly won't unless I am willing to pay sticker price. And I hope the salesperson finds a better manager to work with.

We talked to Todd about getting a vehicle for our 15 year old son. Todd talked us into coming to drive the Ford product as we never owned a Ford before. There was no pressure to buy. He was more interested in us having fun and enjoying and seeing what Ford had to offer. My son fell in love wih the Ford Escape. They understood where I needed to be for a payment and worked with me to make it work out. Monty in the finance department was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Todd was very good about showing my son and us all the options on the vehicle as it has more options than we normally have on a vehicle. It was a great low key sales expreience.

I purchased a used van from Valuford and really experienced hometown service and hospitality. When I initially inquired about this vehicle, I was given a very fair price from Scott and his manager. As I live several hours away from this dealership, most of the transaction was done over the phone. In the process of purchasing it, I found out they could have sold it to other buyers that came right after me for a higher price, but they had absolute integrity and stuck by the quote they had given to me. Every staff member I encountered, including Tiffany, who processed my paper work, was friendly, kind and just very comfortable and helpful people. They even got ice for me for my (previously) broken foot! I would absolutely do business with Scott and ValuFord again.
