Easy to work with and a great deal. - Bdhchicago
Love Philips and Mike Stramaglia. They were very easy to work with. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into a deal. I am very happy with the deal I got and love my new car. I’ll definitely do business with mike again and recommend him to family and friends!

Best outcome for unfortunate circumstances - SBrown
Ernie Hampton and staff of Phillip's were very friendly and helpful in finding me and my fiance a reliable vehicle. Due to engine issues in our previous vehicle it left us upside down on our loan. They were able to get us into a new 2018 Malibu with a payment that was affordable.

Lombardi Chevy is a local dealership and when I was looking for a used car, I knew right where to go. I had a number in mind and knew what I could afford monthly and I ended up purchasing a 2007 Buick lacrosse and my payment ended up being lower than I had anticipated. By the time I got to the dealership all my paperwork was done and ready to go and all I had to do was sign and drive. It was simple, easy and hassle-free thanks to my salesman Jim. I have since come back for service on my vehicle and am very pleased with Ed the service manager who actually puts forth the effort to address every question or concern. I will only come to Lombardi Chevy. I support small business' and my community.
Turned a loyal customer into an upset customer - Felix
I bought a 2018 Suburban from Apple Chevrolet in Tinley. This is my 6th Suburban I purchased from the dealer and salesman Daniel McGowan.
I asked for only three important items, one of which is the same tires that I always ask for on every previous suburban ( highway and off road tires with a deep tread). The salesman Daniel McGowan assured me this would be no problem.
When I picked up the suburban the tires were not off road and a light tread. I asked if this could be fixed and Daniel said he would take care of this and put on the tires I wanted. I even offered to pay more for the tires that were requested as they are very important.
After going back and forth on phone, apple Chevrolet informed me that they were not going to take care of this problem. I had to go to a tire dealership and get the right tires for an additional $1384.
I have been a loyal customer for many years and I feel betrayed by apple Chevrolet. Maybe they took advantage of my age (79), but if they treat a loyal customer like this, think what they will do to a new customer.

First new vehicle in 30 years - ChuckandCindi
After shopping over the internet for well over a month we decided to give Smith a try as they are relatively close. We never left.We had planned to check out two other dealers in the area, but the price was in the ballpark and the atmosphere was pretty laid back.Lisa was a charmer and knew the vehicle she was selling. Overall a pretty low stress purchase.

I worked with Kevin B. over the phone after seeing a nice truck online and reading the reviews on here about the dealership. Kevin was awesome and straight forward. He even went out and test drove the truck to left me know how it handled as it had a six inch lift on it. He did research on the lift as well. Overall, he was awesome to work with. However, we ended up not making the two hour drive as my wife didn't want a truck that big but I will be looking into what Dralle as to offer on my next purchase.
Thanks for your time Kevin B.

Worst Experience Eve from a Dealership I Trusted - T. Jones, Joliet, IL
The buying process was long. It was a 2 hour wait to be seen by Mindy (who has sold cars to my parents in the past and the reason I was there)...not a big deal. Once she was able to see me, we sat and went over the usual credit application process. However, she hadn't completely finished the customer prior ("who was a friend"), so the aged Johnny Bravo hung around the cubicle as Mindy continued to ask personal questions (Income, social security #, the usual). Mindy never asked the customer to step away so that she could assist me. Not wanting to cause a problem, we went on with Mr. Bravo standing within ear shot. The rest of the buying process went smoothly. It ended with Mindy explaining to give them all "5 Star" ratings as soon as possible. Little did I know that the poor service came after you left the lot. The following week, my deposit was due, they ran the transaction and the funds was withdrawn from the account (Friday). On Saturday, I received a very rude voicemail from Alan Ducato, the Finance Director and another accusatory call from Mindy. I was humiliated for 3 days by these professionals. Finally on Monday, received an email from Alan stating they received the funds. No apology or anything after having my character attacked and being urged to bring the car back. Pompous, unprofressional and loan shark tactics is what you will get if you purchase a car from Hawk Chevy in Joliet, Il!

Buyer Beware - Larry F
Bought a used car thru Kingdom for my daughter. The purchasing experience was good until it came time for the details. After telling me there were two key fobs, on delivery only one. $300 for new one. Missing SD card required to run the nav and entire control system, which I knew but they said easy to go buy on we. Not so, $320 later I have one, then found it in the spare tire area a month later. Live out of state, Ohio, so they said I had to have temp license thru them for $110. They forgot to send me the temp tag so had to go buy one myself here..,,$18. They gave me the wrong title for the car, which I discovered when went to register the car and held me hostage by not sending the correct title until I send them all evidence of the wrong title and information back to them. During this time had to go buy another temporary tag. While working thru this from out of state, left many messages, promises I would be called back, but no urgency to correct there errors. The lady in the title depart never apologized for any mistakes even though I had someone else title.
They truly behaved like this was a one time transaction to extract as much as possible from me for as little effort as possible, with no care in the world about how they behaved. Truly buyer beware. My errors, it believed these used car salesmen where different......not so much

Lost a sale and customer for life - Wahoo228
I had my 2008 Saturn towed in on a Monday because it was experiencing what seemed to be a transmission issue. Later that day I got a call from Chris in Service advising that there were multiple warnings being issued and that it would likely cost in excess of what I was willing to spend to repair. I advised that I didn’t want to do the repairs but might be interested in purchasing a new vehicle and to have a salesman contact me with a possible trade-in allowance and to discuss my options for a new vehicle. By 7pm that day I hadn’t heard from any sales people so I called back and asked again to discuss my situation with a salesman. Fast forward to Thursday and I still hadn’t heard from anyone at the dealership so I called service to ask what I owed so I could pick up my car and have it turned over to a junk car dealer. I also mentioned that I still had not heard from a sales person but at that point it was too late as I had already made a deal to purchase a new 2018 vehicle elsewhere. I’d like to say that your dealership most likely lost a sale simply because nobody felt it was necessary to call me back. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service, or rather the lack of customer service that I received. I will not be returning to the dealership for my future service needs on my 2011 Camaro.
