Buying that 2019 Corvette was a bit more involved than a few words over the telephone...The transaction was accommodated by Hawk of Joliet which ultimately lead to my buying and now owning an incredible car. Honorable mention goes to Mindy McCorkle who was my sales person at Hawk. She provided me with unsurpassed diligence and after-sale support for my purchase of the Corvette. As you can imagine with this type of transaction between me (long distance out of state buyer) and Hawk (local automotive dealership in Illinois) that a great deal of behind the scenes coordination had to occur and within innumerable time constraints with time zone differences coupled with banking and insurance matters. A lot of time and effort went into it and Hawk Jolliet made it happen! Mindy even went so far to send me a video of the ZR1 being loaded into its transport carrier for the trip out of state. Thank you Mindy and thank you Hawk for a job very well done!

I’ve done the car buying dance over 35 times in my life. While unlike most people I like the challenge but hate that we have to do it! But it wasn’t like that at Apple and with dealing with Greg. The whole process was easy and comfortable. He was very intelligent about the product line. He knew the features and sold on the benefits. Zero high pressure tactics. Bottom line, is that I have them as a dealer of choice for the next vehicle.
A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!! - FRUSTRATED
I TRULY WISH YOU COULD RATE NO STARS!! I came in just to have an antenna system replaced and a key fob configured. After (6)!!! days and over (30)!!! hours of time sitting at your facility, I get my Corvette back and not only does the new antenna not work, my radio does not work, my cars door locks are all screwed up,I have major electrical issues going on all of which started the day I pulled out of your lot with the new antenna which worked for 10 minutes and then everything went dead. I bring it back and the first day, they could not get to it in the 6 ADDITIONAL hours I was there. I made another appointment and after 7 HOURS MORE!!!, the car is given back to me with nothing fixed and told it was nothing they did and told me I had to find a part that is discontinued.The part I was told to get DOES NOT EXIST!!! I have called and spoken to Mike Lewis (ONCE) who said he would call me RIGHT BACK after he spoke to the Tech who checked out the car but he did not!! I called numerous times after and was told he was busy and would call me back and I also left to many voicemails to count with no return call. I had absolutely NO ISSUES with any of the the above stated problems until the service dept at Webb Chevrolet Oak Lawn got a hold of my car (My Radio And Antenna Still Worked, Antenna Had A Slight Bend And You Can Not Replace Just The Antenna I Was Told) and now they are freezing me out and failing to fix problems I am now told by a shop that does nothing but work on Corvettes that it is a certainty that the problems were caused by the Webb service dept as I explained how I watched the installer actually install the antenna through a window on a over head door and he stated (he had to use the braille method,IE, install the lower components by touch as a lift was not available for my car so he crawled under a Corvette. That's about 8-10 inches of space and he is screwing things and connecting things with out even being under the car to see what he's doing!! I am going to continue and try and work this out for a few more days (I will be going into their shop one of those days)and will update if I am successful. Wish Me Luck But I Am Not Holding My Breath For A Breakthrough!!

I looked a used vehicle online, made an inquiry. Saleswoman called this morning told me it was a great vehicle, come on in, Said she would text me a better deal. Text NEVER came, should have been my first clue. Took time to drive there, before I could get out of my vehicle 5 zombie salesman drooling walking towards me. The one who gnawed his way to the front asked why I was there. Told him of the vehicle I was there see, CASH in pocket BTW. "Oh, we sold that SATURDAY!! Today is Monday!! BUT we have a better one for just a bit more. I said, I don't deal with LIARS!! Oh wait, it might be in the shop! GOOD BYE!! This guy ain't gonna darken that door again! Piss in my ear, tell me it's raining. You only get ONE CHANCE to screw me!!

This place is very Shady- I showed up with a TrueCAR certificate that included a discount and the DEALER FEES and They still tired to add on a $1,300 hidden dealer fee in the total cost t and then blamed Truecar for not updating their prices for the last 3 months and didn't want to show me the break down of the price until I insisted because I knew it wasn't adding up and they kept saying it was just Tax, tittle, licence fees. They claim to be the lowest price but then add a 10% fee to all their cars when you get there. Complete SCAM! I do not recommend this place to anyone. They also showed me a dirty car that needed an alignment and said they would give me a discount on the service and detail. How about about YOU clean the car and align it before you put it for sale. Especially if you plan to charge and extra 10% dealer prep fee. I ended up buying almost the same exact car for $500 less and NO Dealer fees so this place is definitely NOT the best deal either.

I was at Smith Chevrolet in Hammond, looking to lease a new vehicle. DeAndea and Valerie were helping to find me the vehicle I wanted at the beat possible price. Everything seemed great until I wanted to look around and make sure the prices made since to me. That's when things turned, and I then received a attitude from DeAndre. I then left. The next day he had called, and I missed his call. As a courtesy and not to receive phone calls from him for 2 weeks I called him back to let him know, I wasn't ready to make any decisions just yet. (That's my right) he then proceeded to say I'm not going to get a better deal elsewhere, and theybqere taking a loss on the vehicle...I stayed firm and said thank you, but not at this time. He then said "thanks" and hung up on me. I called Monday to speak to the General Manager of sales. Tony is who I spoke with, he was just as rude to speak to, and couldn't care less when I was ready to lease my next vehicle if I was coming back to Smith Chevrolet or not. HORRIBLE business people to work with. When they don't get what they want they get nasty. Well they've lost by business, and I will continue to tell anyone I know looking for a vehicle to stay away from Smith Chevrolet in Hammond.

Lombardi Chevy is a local dealership and when I was looking for a used car, I knew right where to go. I had a number in mind and knew what I could afford monthly and I ended up purchasing a 2007 Buick lacrosse and my payment ended up being lower than I had anticipated. By the time I got to the dealership all my paperwork was done and ready to go and all I had to do was sign and drive. It was simple, easy and hassle-free thanks to my salesman Jim. I have since come back for service on my vehicle and am very pleased with Ed the service manager who actually puts forth the effort to address every question or concern.
