Great guys to deal with. My ATS has had a few in-warranty issues and I'm a total Pain-in-the-A$$ customer. I've done service extras because of the explanations from Ross and Victor. The prices have always been lower than the surrounding Cadillac dealerships. My last visit I got the Upper intake cleaning (ATS 2.0T owners. GET. THIS. DONE. It actually makes the car run better.)
I cant say enough about the dealership. People like this will make me come back to the Motor Werks group and buy another car. (Probably not another Cadillac... but hey, Motor Werks sells like 10 other brands.) !!!Owners and Managers of Motor Werks!!! Ross and Victor are key people, don't lose these two. I have been a customer for several years and bought the car I am driving today from them! Over the last couple of years the staff & especially the service department members have maintained my vehicle, loaned me a car free of charge for over a week ( due to a repair taking longer than expected) & always ask before doing any additional repairs (providing the exact amount I will be charged, vacume out my car, let me take home a car to "try it out over night". During my last visit for an oil change, what at first was a normal afternoon turned very stressful quickly! After my oil changed I stopped in at Cracker Barrel in Mattoon for lunch with my 6 month old daughter, as I was getting ready to put her in the car the diaper bag bumped the lock on the door, not realizing it at the time ( now my car was locked, my phone, wallet, her diapers, wipes, and bottles were all now locked inside with my keys sitting on the seat) As you might expect, my heart sank from panic that was setting in, here I was alone, with everyone I know at work, not able to help me! Without truly knowing wether they could or would be able to help me get my car open. I called the dealership & immediately they sent someone out to save me from what could have been a very bad situation. May I add again, charging me nothing! I can't express my graditude the staff for their graciousness & their professionalism!

Employees seemed like they really enjoyed working there. I was told they have a new manager who has turned it around. My car was washed and vacumed too.

I am always pleased when I walk into the Chevy Dealership here in Dekalb,IL. Everyone is always nice and greet you at the door. I usually get help from Jason who takes care of my vehicle needs. He always give me options as to what I can do to take care of my car. Rather its choosing the most affordable tires or my vehicles future needs that I need to keep in mind. When my car Axel needed repair I couldn't afford it right away, and that's when Jason offered me a dealers car to get back and forth to work for the week. I really appreciated that! He encouraged me to take care of my important bills like my rent that was due the same day that my vehichle broke down,and to prioritize. I felt carefree because of Jason, knowing that he was doing everything that he could to help until I came up with the money I needed to repair my car. He took the stress and heavy burdens off of my shoulders, and I can't say that any other dealership have ever treated me that well! I recommend everyone I know to visit Dekalb Chevrolet. Whenever I come to get something as simple as an oil change these guys take care of me right away. My wait time is not long and my visits are always pleasant! The refreshments are great and I feel very comfortable walking into that place trusting that they will take care of my vehicle needs in the most fast and friendly way possible. Worst Customer Service Ever! - RWM
This company is an absolute joke! I took my car in with a check engine light on and they told me they could not fix the issue but charged me $150. When I called to complain they told me they would be glad to charge me another $150 to tell me nothing was wrong again . Still having the same issue as when I took car in the first time. I dealt with Tracy Walker who was a total xxx to my wife and I dealt with Robert Lang who was a total xxx to me. Very rude and disrespectful. I would NEVER use or recommend this dealership to anyone.

The service department of this dealership is a joke, I'm having my car towed from there after they have failed to fix the car properly for the third time.
Each time they have had it, they break something else in the process. I'm not sure if this is a scam to keep getting more $$$ or what, needless to say I'm removing my car from their facility to have it repaired and all they work they claimed to do on it inspected as the shoddy workmanship performed by this dealer can't be trusted.
Mark the service manager, and Paul the service advisor could care less about customer satisfaction, perhaps they will care when the real boss asks the what happened when they have to respond to a court summons.

Well let's start off with this. I own a 2013 Cadillac ATS that needed to get its Driver Assistance Serviced. Like any other dealer, Sullivan charges a flat rate of $105 to even look if there's a problem with the vehicle (if they find an issue, $105 will go towards resolving the issue). While I was there, I asked Chuck (I believe that's his name) if he could also realign my headlights since it should be an easy thing to do and patch up a leak in my rear left tire since it kept losing air. He said yea they can do it.
Well an hour passes and Chuck calls me to tell me he's diagnosed the issue. It would cost $600+ to fix the issue. Personally I'm not surprised it would cost this much since I knew a Cadillac would be costly to maintain. But what angered me was the fact he said, and I quote, "we can't readjust your headlights since ATS's have intelligent beams that realign themselves every time you start your car." So I said basically your telling me it's impossible to readjust/realign your headlights. Seems like a silly manufacturing decision on Cadillac wouldn't you think? He said yes it is impossible. So I said ok, were you able to find the leak in my left rear tire? He said no. "Our technicians ran it through a program and put it in a dunk test and didn't find ANY leaks." Now I know that's impossible because I constantly lose around 6PSI every night after I park outside and get into the car next morning.
Because of their poor performance, there was no way I was going to cough up $600+ dollars to get ANYTHING serviced. I told them it's fine and that's how I basically wasted $105 on nothing.
The next day, my friend recommended me to see Midas and told me they do small adjustments and check ups for free. So I went to Midas and explained the situation. I wanted to get my headlights realigned and I wanted to patch up whatever is causing my left rear tire to lose air. They took 5 minutes and readjusted my headlights for free. Next they took 15 minutes and figured out there was an issue with my left rear valve stem. I asked them how did they adjust my headlights since I thought it was impossible to realign. The mechanic told me, "don't be ridiculous, Cadillac would never make a car that's lights can't be manually readjusted." Also he pointed out there's a specific portion of the Owners Manual that tells you how to manually readjust your lights!
Moral of the story, don't shy away from stores such as Midas and think higher end stores like Sullivan are more qualified to fix your vehicle. In my case, either Sullivan is completely under-qualified or unbelievably lazy to even check if there's an issue. Consider me a loyal member of Midas.

Radiator and battery replacement $1,070.00 - Carlisah
My car was leaking radiator fluid. I called PDR. and told them so. They set me up for an appointment on Jan 3. My Battery died before Jan 3. and I told them so. I told them that I would have my Saturn Relay towed to them about 15 mins late. They told me that they would replace the battery, radiator and hoses for $1,070.00. I told them that I will have my car towed back to my house then the said I owed $225 for the estimate. They didn't mention diagnostic charge at any time and they didn't allow the towing company to take my car until I paid. They later brought it down to $197.00. Be aware if PDR just looks at your car you're going to pay about $200.00 and average radiator replacement is about $500 according to the internet.
BEWARE OF WARRANTY SCAM WITH ANTHONY @ SHIREY! - SHE SHE
I called Shirey Cadillac back on July 15th to inquire about an extended warranty for my Cadillac SRX, I spoke with Anthony which was very pleasant in the beginning, Anthony went over two options 3yrs /36k or 4yrs/48k I chose the 4yr/48k miles warranty through Fidelity Warranty, Anthony ask for my fax number to send over the contract, to my surprise I only received an authorization form for $400 down and to include my bank info for payments to be withdrawn monthly for $135.42. I called Anthony back to inform I never received the contract just an authorization form, Anthony claims he was sending the contact again,08/01 I never received it just another authorization form. I called again on 08/06/18 advised I never got the contract. Anthony then called me back from his personal cell phone and ask me to send back the authorization form to his cell phone, which I did. Anthony stated that he would send me the contract, again I never received it, so I called Anthony back on his cell, he says I'm with a customers, I'll call you back that was Friday August 10, again, no call or contract, I called dealership Monday, Anthony answer I stated good evening Anthony I never received a return call or the contract on Friday. Anthony act as thou he had never spoken with me before, asking why was I calling him. I stated I was waiting on your return call Friday alone with the contract for the warranty, YOU would not believe this man started acting like he had no clue who I was and why I was calling him, he became very ignorant & arrogant asking me what are you talking about, so I reminded him again, who I was and he called me from his cell phone on Thursday, and that I spoke with him Thursday & Friday and text him back the authorization form to his personal cell, then his story changed and he said oh, that quote I gave you expired and those options are no longer available, I said since when does a quote expire in a week. I spoke with you Thursday and Friday you were sending over the contract, he said ma'am I sent it to you twice, at this point I'm almost boiling because he's trying to insult my intelligence. How can a quote expire and the warranty no longer available by Monday, then he picks an argument with me, stating well what do you want me to do, then he states their was no date on the authorization form you sent back to me,(because I'm smarter than you sir,) he then ask what date did I fax it to you? I said July 26th he then says oh, that's why the quote expired 07/31/2018, LIAR, I talked to you on Thursday & Friday and now the quotes expired and the warranty are no longer available. Really? So, I stated ok no problem but I'm glad I never signed the authorization form to withdraw from my account with no contract. Get the contract first before signing any form or making any payments.
*I called Fidelity warranty directly and they put me In touch with a dealer to write the contract is much better and cheaper than this RIPE off guy Anthony @ SHIREY CADILLAC!
