Wife's 13CTS was shuttering on sharp turns,, I called it bunny hop,, I googled it an there were several threads bout it,, see said you had to threaten ,, cuss,, fist fight with yur dealership to get anything done !! My dealership is Cable-Dahmer Buick GMC Cadillac on Noland rd in Independence Mo.. was not looking forward to the visit but Jaren,, service guy wanted to take car for drive an see what it was I was describing.. it did it as soon as we left the bldg.. he recognized it an seen it had done it 4-5 times just on the lot. Left it with them (drove away in new Cadillac loaner.. Jaren kept in contact with wife letting her know it needed repairs-- replaced sum clutches,, an changed out sum oil. I'm not a motorhead guessing frt end transmission fluid..got it back day after the 4th,, all is well. No noise .. no shutter ..no bunny hop .. no stress!!!! No charge. Was a Cadillac certified vehicle. Unbelievable,, was so happy an pleased with how it was all handled I can't say enough bout this. I had bought a new truck frm then in 14 an have had no issues ever with them. But was nervous bout this. After reading threads on computer bout dealerships not wanting to fix problem.. Just left dealership letting them know how much I appreciated the way they handled this. Not my style to drive up there an do it or to type all this in,, but dam sure wanted to let em know how I felt. Class act. Very easy!!!!!

Auto Body Experience - 2014TC
I was very pleased with the auto body experience I had recently. I called American Family Insurance on Friday about 10 am after hitting a deer about 9:00 the previous evening. They contacted Pettijohn, who called me within 30 minutes to arrange towing my van to their service area. By 2:30 that afternoon, I received a call from Kayla with an estimate of the damage and asked if I wanted them to fix it. I said yes and she said that she could now order parts. She told me it would take about 9 days to complete repairs. I told her that I would need a loaner car because my husband had a doctor appointment in the city on Tuesday. She said that she would have a car ready by Monday and she did. We had a flat tire while driving and had it repaired. I called on the 8th day and Kayla said it was ready to pick up. We went to get our car and looked it over. It looked great! We went in and paid the bill and gave Kayla the bill for fixing the tire and she took it off of our total bill. We were very pleased with the fast service and friendly actions of Kayla and the service personnel.
OVERALL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Shelley Stanley
I had my car there to have work done on the timing chain and coolant system back in Feb of 2017. I paid $1600 for this work to be done and expected the issue to be fixed the first time. Well, I found a leak. When I took it back to them they informed me it was the coolant system leaking. This was the first time I took it back. I pick up my car and still smell the hot oil smell coming from my car. I think that this is just the residue on the motor burning off and it will just take some time to go away. A few months down the road and the car is still smelling. So I take it back again and guess what???? Its the timing chain cover leaking... So they fix that issue.... So again I think its just oil burning off the engine. Another few months go by and my car is still stinking.... I put it on the lift at my Brothers shop and we find that its still the timing chain cover leaking. So again I take it back. Make the appt and the technician tells me that the cover has a bend in it and they are ordering a new one. It wont be in until the next day. 1.5 hrs later I receive a call from Randy Reed telling me my car is done and fixed. I asked about the new cover and he said we were able to straighten out this one. I dont see how you can straighten out a bend in a cover like this and not have it leak????So hear we go again.... I have been dealing with this for almost a year. I take it back last week 02/01/2018 telling them that I still smell the oil smell and that it is leaking. So now they tell me my issue is a Oil Level Sensor that is going to cost me another $650 to fix. PLUS my leak is supposedly coming from Vacuum Pump. So a new pump is $193.82 and they want to charge me 1.6 hrs to fix when the GM book calls for .6 hours labor..?????? SERIOUSLY????? What is up with charging an additional hour when it doesnt call for that? And don't tell me it's the diagnostic fee as this was listed in the itemized estimate I received. And how many other people have you done this too...... Oh and don't think this is all.... I also stated when dropping the car off that I needed to get the oil changed as well. There were several phone calls throughout the day about the "NEW" issues with my car.... I understand if the oil level sensor was going to be replaced, the oil would have been drained, but in the last phone conversation they were asked to make sure the oil was changed and I would come to get it... Do you think my oil was changed????? NOOOOO!!!! It was not... When I called back the next day to speak to Dan Gutierrez (who I spoke to all day about this car the day before) about how unhappy I was that my oil did not get changed after all he said oh he was sorry, he was dealing with a family thing and forgot to get with the technician to change the oil.... shouldn't this have been written on the initial ticket when I brought it in???? I am so displeased with the overall experience with the SERVICE DEPT that I will never buy another car from Randy Reed. I don't know if I need to contact my attorney in regards to this matter, but something needs to be done. I will definitely be telling everyone I know about my experience.

Purchased my 7th Cadillac here (CTS Vsport). From day 1 delivery it had 7 chips on it. Hey do not worry we will fix everything perfect. They fixed nothing. Service had always been an adventurous experience. I can honestly say they have never fixed one thing. Good for oil changes anything over that I would not trust them. I cannot believe it took so long for me to get fed up. Why am I fed up? My car had 59k miles and am looking to purchase a new one within the next few months. I have been telling the service guy who now has left about my mirror only to hear it’s normal and won’t get worse. Now the side mirror is difficult to see out of because it had worn away and I am told $267 since my $2,000 extended warranty does not cover it. I refused. Lexus here I come!

Loose battery terminal caused alternator to malfunction. When the service person hooked up the gauges, he pegged the speedometer and it broke. Service Manager said that was a weak spot on the Silverados and I would need to purchase an entire new dash cluster. Quoted $530 to repair what their service department broke.
When I could get no satisfaction from the Service Department, I visited with both the Sales Manager and the Owner. The Owner told me I had not purchased the vehicle from his dealership, so he was not interested in assisting with the required repairs. I took the truck to another dealership and paid the $500 to have Lang's error corrected.
I run 30,000 to 40,000 miles/year in my Silverados. On the road, I don't know one locally owned repair shop from another. So, I always have all service... including oil changes... done by the Chevrolet dealer in the area I'm in. Working with Chevrolet service departments over a 5-state area, Lang's is the ONLY dealership that has displayed a complete lack of interest in customer satisfaction.
