We drove 130 miles from Hammond to purchase a car from Lapeyrouse. I worked with Mike Lapeyrouse over the internet and was very happy with the results. There was no pressure from Mike online, unlike some other dealers that I would get emails from every day sometimes twice a day.
Mike worked with us giving us multiple options for extended warranties but never pressured us. Oh!! Mike also got us an APR that was lower than our preapproved bank rate.
The car was great. Nice and clean, looked better than the pictures online. I had one question about the car; Mike had the mechanics check it out and even threw in an extra key for us.
I would definitely recommend buying from Lapeyrouse.

This review is purely on our experience working with salesman Carles (CJ) back in Oct. 2020. He knew we were driving in from almost 4 hours away, and unfortunately the vehicle we wanted to look at sold the night before, but he found us the best backup option and was not pushy at all. Because of this, we decided to make the trek and buy a new Jeep Wrangler from him. He texted me several times in the following week to check on everything and answer any questions I had. The financing experience was about 4/5 in comparison to my previous experiences at other dealerships, but I do not want that to reflect on our car buying experience as a whole. We are happy with our purchase and thankful for Carles.

I appreciate being able to do this. The financing was handled promptly and professionally. The sales experience was pleasant and un-rushed. The team did as they promised from start to finish.

Highly do not recommend. Terrible communication, awful management, and poor customer service. I highly advise you go elsewhere and if not have your vehicle inspected by a mechanic before you purchase, along with extended warranty to protect yourself. Over priced with nothing to show for it.

Well let's start with the first time my jeep was worked on here I was told it would take 4 hrs. I called through out the day checking on it. With them telling me they haven't started working on it. When my appointment was at 730 am. Well to sum it up I ended up not having a vehicle for two days. Because of the lack of planning. So I thought it was just a xxxxx. The second time, Had some parts ordered for some warranty work. And I made the appointment at 730 again on a Friday. I call them at 230 to find out what's taking so long. And they tell me once again they haven't started working on it. This is a huge problem when someone needs their vehicles. Especially when told will take a couple of hours. Poor management.

Vaughn will over charge you for a simple easy fix once your warranty expires. They over charge on part prices as well as labor. Not a returning customer.
