I had my son take my car in for a oil change on 4/18. The very next day when I got in my car to and I was overwhelmed with the smell of oil. I decided to take my car in to have it checked out. They later told me that someone forgot to tighten the cap and there was oil all over my motor and under the hood. I will admit that I was upset for the fact if I would have kept driving my car and the leaking out everywhere, then my motor would have been messed up and then what? Since the dealership messed up on my oil change, they should have at least offered me some free oil changes. I never got an apology or anything

The dealership had Ice-Cream on this Saturday afternoon – with Free custom specialty Ice cream sandwiches made on-site and offered to the whole floor and all the customers. This made more of a family setting and helped lighten up what could be a tight sales floor. This turned out to be our icing on the cake, on top of our purchase! Did we mention, Free unlimited car washes/vacuum at any/all Sewell dealerships comes with this purchase!

I began searching for a new vehicle when my 2011 Dodge Nitro decided to take its wiring issues and multiply them. What started as the clock losing time the day I bought the car in 2012 became a whole range of wiring problems including the horn randomly honking & the hazards running periodically while the engine was off. Last week was the icing on the cake because the battery was being drained overnight while the car sat on my driveway.
I got online and started hunting. I drove a GMC Terrain as a rental a couple of years ago and I only remembered how comfortable every one of those 2,057.1 miles were that I drove. I came to realize that there weren’t many used GMC options which told me without question that they are a vehicle make people keep. I wanted to be one of those people who loved their car so much they couldn’t imagine driving anything else!
You guys, I stumbled across the team at McKinney Buick GMC only to realize I’d liked their Facebook page a year ago when I’d read their reviews then. - Derrick Bofferding (sales), Josh Lewis (finance manager), and all of the unsung heroes who worked with my less than stellar credit score not only made me feel like I was a part of the family, but they treated me with respect. I didn’t feel at all like I was being given a sales pitch. I felt like their entire team understood my frustration with my inability to be free to get up and go as I please. Their team went out of their way to stay late and cater to my questions. - I cannot say enough positive about them!
Perhaps the greatest evidence I have of the way I was treated was the fact that I reached out willingly to give Derrick a hug as we left. Both my mom & my brother’s jaws were about on the ground. Because I don’t do hugs, I don’t do people in my personal space. But these guys went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire process, from the time my initial inquiry hit their system to the moment I drove out of the parking lot. And for that, they’ll never truly understand the impact they’ve had on me.
I am beyond happy with my purchase and will be back to McKinney Buick GMC for years to come as they have certainly exceeded my expectations and have earned a client for life!

When into the dealership to look for a specific car process took less than a couple of hours which included a test drive. They did everything I asked them to do they have the car ready when they said they were going to have it ready and I sailed through the process with no issues mainly because of Randy. Ask for Randy he’s really good and does a great job.
Also I traded my 2013 Yukon in on the used vehicle and I’ve had it serviced there for six years without an issue done quickly done on time what more can you ask for?

Service Nathan Scott - Disappointed
I took my truck in for my routine service and open ticket problems. Nathan Scott called me and stated that this thing Refering to my vehicle is 4000 miles over on oil change and need a filter. I tried to explain that there is an open ticket . He didn’t want to hear it. If anything is wrong with an open ticket Take it back to them. I told him my truck was not over for oil change and that is why is was there... He said oh I did not know that...He never wrote it on the ticket. I was upset that nothing was addressed. My truck was not serviced . That was the main reason it was there. I Told him That was okay do not service and I will pick up my vehicle in a now. I come in he was rude and did not speak.I waited a while on him after I arrived he was very rude and angry. He repeated the statements dropped the pen on the counter. So he didn’t have to touch me. Told me I was going to listen to him I said I’m not and don’t have to... I asked for his Manager and told him he was being prejudice ... I left out going to my truck and he ran outside got up in my face screaming after I walked out... The workers had to get him . He was irate . I feel I was being prejudiced against Being a female . And Bullied . All of this is on video . I will Be filing a formal complaint BBB FCC and General Motors.

I traveled to Mineral wells buick gmc chevy in hopes of buying a dodge tradesman. The sales guy was young but nice. We took a dodge truck out while mine was being appraised and it was ok, nothing special and stock. I was considering the vehicle and waited around for about an additional 30-40 mins while my truck was supposed to be getting appraised. I couldn’t wait any longer after an hour and a half plus of handing my keys over. I requested the sales guy call me with the appraisal and he agreed. This never happened. I called three days later and told the receptionist or whomever that i was never contacted, she said ok we’ll get back with you. Never happened. The sales guy texted me a week or two later and asked if i was still interested, i said sure what’s my appraisal. He didn’t know. He never called back. 3 MONTHS LATER, i get some piece of mail saying they want my truck for 11k (i paid 32k two years ago). I understand dealerships lowball but that offer is just hwy robbery, unserious and pathetic. I’ve gotten 2 appraisals since i was there for between 17-18.5k and all were done within 30 mins of requesting. This place is unorganized, slow, I’ll prepared, rookie sales, ghost management and piss poor quotes. Don’t go it’s a complete and utter waste of time and money.

Eddie Vargas the general manager of GatewayGMC offer bad service. I visited 4 other GMC dealerships and they value my trade in over $17k but Mr. Vargas was devaluating my trade in, he also did not wanted to sale me a car from his dealership even do I already have been approved for $49k. from my bank. The sales agent was great but the general manager offer bad service at all times.

Christa really sounds like she knows her stuff when she wants to sell a car. She did not push us to buy something like most salespeople do. And I actually asked her about the "cash corral" and instead of trying to sell me something that was old and cruddy she actually cared about my safety and said that none of them were very dependable. If I'm looking for a Buick,GMC,or Pontiac,or even a good used car I will look here. I Commend her for actually putting safety ahead of price.

Frustrated trying to get my title... - Auto
Bought a car off Autotrader. Paid cash by wire transfer and a cc deposit. Flew my mechanic to inspect. Dealer was very accommodating as they spent several hours allowing my guy to check out. Even lifted it on a rack and had one on their mechanics available for questions. Salesman told me he would send my guy back with title. He didn't. Two weeks later I have no title. Where I live I have 7 days to register or there is penalty. Total frustration with this dealer! Life doesn't have to be so difficult.

Awful Dealership - stosbor
The dealership is very clean and well kept. However, the service is subpar. The sales team refused to recognize customer needs and were unwilling to accommodate. Had a scheduled appointment to view a vehicle and had to leave work early in order to make the appointment only to find out upon arrival that the vehicle I wanted to purchase had not arrived. No call to let me know and basically no recollection of the appointment at all. The aura reeked of arrogance.
