Great place, good experience - TDC - GMC Terrain
I chose my vehicle on-line, called and talked to Chris, and he and Mike Sinclair had the vehicle ready to test drive when I got there. I was in and out with my new ride in under 2 hours. The process was quick and pleasant. I am very happy with my new vehicle and the customer service I received.

The worst financial department - Mr. Lee
The salesman did everything nice get me the vehicle that I wanted. Made sure it had all the features and everything I needed. The price was down where I want it.
The time with the finance personnel was not so great. I was stuck with a high interest rate so I cannot recommend financing with this dealership. This is my third Chevy I'm switch to another brand. After signing all the paperwork the interest rate was at the end not realizing that.
Pleasant, quick, - Sglowery
Great attitude; sales help, professional service and a lot of patience with an older person who was not exactly sure what she wanted or needed.
Subpar service - PatrickP
I called ahead of time to make sure the wait wasn’t long. I showed up and there was only one person in front of me In line but they had already been helped. I had my dad come and pick me up and we had to wait about 20 to 30 minutes just to be checked in. There were eight people standing there (including service reps) just standing there talking and no one would help me. A service rep, I believe his name is James, checked me in and asked me why I was there that day and I told him that I needed an oil change I wanted to possibly get new windshield wipers, get some air in my tires and to take a look at my coolant levels because they were a little low. I noticed a couple of days later that my car was still low on coolant and I had to go to the gas station before work at six in the morning to get coolant. I paid $75 for an oil Change and new windshield wipers, When I could’ve done the job myself for half the price. Not to mention that I had to pay $15 at a gas station for coolant which made me late to work. I paid a higher price for better customer service and I was extremely disappointed. I get better service at Firestone or autozone. I have purchased two cars at your location and I have never been serviced so poorly before. Perhaps it was all done no rush since I dropped my car off at noon, but I called before hand to make sure it was OK. I called and spoke to James today and he stated he will ask around and see what happened. I drove about an hour to come drop off my car for service last time. How about you refund me for the crappy service? I’ve been a loyal customer for 8 years now and your service has unimproved.
Hector Acosta was Great! - Jorge Guevara
Went in just looking to see what options I had, and Hector Acosta showed us all sorts of cars until we found the perfect one! He was super patient and helped me get financed on my first auto loan. Don't want to leave Mr. Wayne (used car manager) out, he worked to get us the best financing possible and made this all possible. Thank you both! SHOUT OUT to Hector Acosta his number is 281-467-9924, hope you sell lots of cars :)
They know how to take good care of a customer - Ncastro421
Came to Ron Carter Ford after leaving Gulf Coat Ford extremely disappointed in their service. Called Ron Carter Ford service and Allison set me up with an appointment and even had a car waiting for us when we got there to drop off our car. We had purchased the extended warranty through Ford and they honored it, supplying us with a rental when we got there. They took care of our car and of us. When I went to pick up my care found out some of the stuff Gulf Coast Ford was charging to our warranty was not needing to be replaced. I am glad we went to Ron Carter Ford and will be back again when I need my car serviced. Thanks Allison for all your help!

POSITIVE EXPERIENCES FOR SEVERAL YEARS - Jeep
We have bought our last several cars from Bounds. Knowing the family gave us confidence we were in good hands. Anytime there seemed to be a glitch, it was quickly tended to and corrected. All seven cars were well priced and we got good trades for our old cars. My husband died and I am about to embark on a new car search. Even though I now live in the Hill Country, I'm probably going back to Bounds. I know I can trust them and they will do me right.
Bait and switch scammers! - blondie137
Classic Chevy had contacted me around April 2018 regarding a vehicle and I did a test drive with one of their salesmen. I decided to wait on buying. When I decided to purchase, I stopped at this dealership to do a 2nd test drive of the Chevy Equinox. That was 12/15/18. This dealership had an Equinox in Kinetic Blue, with $17,998 in very large yellow numbers on the side of the vehicle. The vehicle was up on a platform in the air so that everyone on the freeway could see it.
Since the salesman that I dealt with in April had quit, in December I dealt with salesman, Sean Khwaja. He said that Chevy was offering “Employee Pricing” on their vehicles, and this would drop the price even lower than the advertised $17,998. I asked him to email me the following Monday with the price with the “Employee Pricing” discount.
I did not hear from Mr. Khwaja, so on Tuesday, 12/19/18, I emailed him and asked him for the price with the "Employee Pricing" discount.
Mr. Khwaja sent me a Purchase Agreement with a price of $24,953.22. The advertised price of $17,998, that we had discussed, was not listed anywhere on the Purchase Agreement. I told Mr. Khwaja that this was not the price that was advertised on the side of the vehicle.
He said the $17,989 included rebates for things like Costco member, active military, National Realtors Assoc bonus cash, returning a lease, owner of a competitors vehicle, and USAA member bonus cash.
I do not believe that Chevy’s available rebates added up to nearly $7,000. Most of the offered rebates were only $500 each. In addition, it is highly unlikely that any one person would qualify for every single one of the rebates.
I believe that advertising the price of this vehicle to the general public at $17,998 is deceptive pricing and/or false advertising since it includes rebates that they did not disclose when I was looking at the vehicle. In addition, the dealership knows that it is unlikely that any person would qualify for every single one of the rebates they claim that they are deducting to come up with the $17,998 price.
I told Mr. Khwaja that jacking up the price by $7,000 was false advertising. He did not respond to that email.
My experience was great - Kerry Davison

Horrible customer service from (Finance Manager) - Alimurtaza25
I am the last person to leave someone a negative feedback, but this fellow left me no choice but to warn the up coming customers to this dealership or perhaps this particular fellow. (Pleasant Abraham)
I picked a car from their sister dealership down the street, liked it driven around and was sold on the price that was advertised for.
I was there with preapproved from JSC bank with pretty decent financial rate. Did not want to get financed from the Dealer due to my own bank’s great rates. But since my super nice sales accisites (James/Wolf) insisted that they may offer me better rate. So, why not. I was agree.
I sure was pleased with their hospitality and help they provided during my decision.
Everything went well until I was taken to this finance department. Let me mention that I was the only customer in waiting area waiting for these guys to take me in and help me get out soon they can.
It took about 30-35 min. Which is okay.
But it wasn’t that easy and ok as much as I thought it would or can be. This fellow I dealt with name (Pleasant Abraham) started working on my case. He was taking his sweet time which is understandable. But no smile on his face must be the work load, I don’t know. 🤷???
We had 3,500.00 as a down payment. Once he was done running number around his screen. He straight up told us what our monthly payment will be.
But I asked him what rate am I getting. He said 4.9% when I went there with 3.4% approved from JSC bank. Told him no we rather just get it done from our bank. He asked us if we have a paperwork to show him... after confirming everything he left the office and returned after while and goes back to his computer screen and gave us another monthly payment.
My question remained the same what’s my % rate? He said he will match or beat by one point. 🤦???
But what’s the point getting same rate after spending almost 2 hrs For same %. I said it’s okay we will just keep the banks offer. But thank you.
Oh, boy.. This guy pissed off or what!? I don’t know. He with a smirking face gave me a look and said.. What do you want me to do !? Give you a 0%?
That was pretty rude of him. I got shocked and said oh you are not as plasenst. Are you !?
He replied I try to be. I acknowledge him that he is being rude. He straight up told me if I am the one who will sign the paper work? Since I wanted the car to be under my little brothers name and I was paying down payment to help him out. So, I said sure he said no you are not you can leave.
I really was pissed off at this point I told him look we really have to go.. please finish the paper work it’s already passed 9:15-20 and I have 5 years old baby to pick up from a baby sitter.
He said you guys can go deal with some one else. And my little brother ask me to stop let him finish.
So, I figured if I say YES to everything he wants.
Then I may end up See his pleasant side.
(Which was no where to be found) smh
This was my experience guys. I don’t know about others but this guy definitely don’t want people to be smart or question him. If you one of those who don’t like asking question then Mr, (pleasant Abraham) your guy. Good luck
Or else request a different finance Manager to deal with.
Good luck. Because I didn’t have that after meeting this guy.
Amazing Experience - Rodriguez77
First time purchasing/financing a vehicle. It was really easy, I thought it would take me all day. Salesman (Marcus Prado) was very helpful, worked the deal over the phone and just came to sign. Finance (Joe Gomero) explain every detail on the deal. Everything was clear. Ana was very helpful too, help me understand the different SUVs. End up purchasing a TRAVERSE, which I love!! I'll recommend Robbins to family and friends. Great service and awesome people!
Thank you Robbins!!!
Take advantages of college students with questionable sales - Baywaystinks
Beware of this unscrupulous dealership. They pulled a bait and switch on young college students. Financed a car for someone who was unemployed with a finance company known for not verifying application information. Never do business with this place unless you want to be taken on the deal. Worst car buying experience ever. One star is too much for this dealership. They take advantage of inexperienced college students. Does it get any lower? GM says they signed the papers. How many of us do without knowing the fine print especially when mislead by verbal sales pitch. If you can’t trust a business with your young college kid than shouldn’t be trusted to do business with anyone. The vehicle was way over priced and the finance rate ridiculous. They played some young kids. Buyer beware. Shame on Bayway Chevrolet.
Horrible service department - unhappy
Service department is horrendous. My car has been in for service four times already. Every visit has taken two weeks. The reason is because my car sat for a week before they even thought about working on it. This last visit required a special order for the part. I waited until dealership received the part and then took my car inn for service. Again, even though they had parts, my car sat for a full week before they started to work on it. To top it all off they did NOT correct issue. I wish I could upload videos of how my car sounded before "repair" and how it sounds now. It is far worse now after replacement of new steering column. Terrible service dept - after the numerous poor reviews you would think management would correct issue.
Wonderful experience - Missb22
I will never purchase a vehicle any where else. Granger customer service is top notch! I had an amazing experience from top to bottom! Ive used the service department as well and have always had great experiences!
First car purchase. - BaiLeighB
For being a first time car buyer, I am so glad I got recommended to come here because I left extra happy and with the car I want! Mrs. Ann was so sweet, she had an answer to every question, and made sure I left with a smile.
not that good. - chris campbell
every one is available to talk before purchase, since they overcharge me on purchase and now they are always busy and cant get in touch with anyone.
Questable repair work - Not Happy
I have a 2016 GMC Denali 3500HD with less than 25000 miles brought to dealer with steering box leaking and a lot of play in steering and while the truck was in for service I let them do a oil change and lube. They replace steering box and change oil. Picked up truck and drop off my 2014 GMC pickup for a/c blowing hot air. Still had play in steering. Got under truck to take a look, notice steering box leaking grease and no boot covering shaft coming out of steering box, splash plate covering steering box area was warped on one side and bolt hole areas were cracked and fracture, and truck was not lubed during oil change. Returned truck to dealer to get above fixed. They now said it’s was a wore out idle arm so they replace it and adjusted toe. They replace boot on steering box shaft (which they forgot first repair) and splash shield.did not lube truck again. Play in steering gone but now have a vibration in steering wheel witch I didn’t have before. Without them test driving now the problem is my tires. Being a xxxxxxx to prove a point I went to a tire dealer and purchase 6 new michlen tires (1800.00) same as tires that come on truck witch only had 25000 miles. Return to dealer made them test drive and they said problem still tires and they need to do a 140 dollar road balance. And ask when do I wanted to make a appointment. The service advisors can do all this without checking the work already done by a mechanic that can’t even replace parts without forgetting some. And as far as getting it lube you have to tell them 3 time. I only asked twice because they do not grease unless told to. It’s my mistake to think they would lube truck when paying 225.00 for a lube and oil change without being told to grease grease certs. Quick lube did it for free. A/C on 2014 another long story.
NOT SO GOOD - cpolk08
SO I GOT MY 2018 CAMARO THERE AND THEY WOULD NOT NEGOTIATE THE PRICE AT ALL! THERE WERE BLACK SCUFF MARKS ON MY RIM AND ON MY DRIVER SIDE REFLECTOR LIGHT THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT BACK AND THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT OR REPLACE THE TWO IF THE SCUFFS WOULDNT COME OUT. SO WHEN I BRING IT BACK MY SALESMAN TELL ME WELL WE CAN JUST TRY TO GET THE SCUFFS OUT OF MY RIM AND LIGHT AND THAT WAS ALL THE COULD DO. I DONT FEEL GOOD ABOUT MY PURCHASE AT ALL I FELT LIKE MY SALESMAN WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A SALE HIS NAME WAS JOSH. THEY WOULDNT EVEN TINT MY WINDOWS. SO NOW IM STUCK WITH SCUFF MARKS ON MY RIMS AND REFLECTOR LIGHT. DONT GO HERE IF YOUR LOOKING TO FELL GOOD ABOUT A PURCHASE.
Sales lady very nice but management of dealership horrible - Unhappy buyer
We bought a 2017 car from Knapp Chevrolet, paid cash and have called them repeatedly about not received our license plates and Title.. it has been almost 3 months. I spoke with manager Luell who was very rude. We are owed a refund of overpayment on our cashiers check and was told by finance manager that we would receive it the next week and still do not have it. We are sending complaint to General Motors, attorney generals office and BBB. We feel this is deceptive trade practice. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
