Came in for an oil change and 2 recalls. After a little bit over 3 hours of waiting I am informed that the oil change is done and will have to come back for the recall work. Besides that my dome light inside is still not working and I am still owed a half a tank of gas. The truck had only half tank of gas when I bought it. When I am the sales Manager about it. He said they would fill my tank next time I came in.

Long story short, I found myself in a jam and needed to trade my vehicle in for another. I explained the situation and every person I talked to there were patient and more than willing to help as best as they could. If the vehicle I wanted couldn’t be worked out, they were patient with me and helped me look for another. I didn’t get exactly what I wanted but after reviewing contracts and all things considered, all people involved did the best that they could to help me and without going into specifics, they did better than I could have hoped for. After a couple of days, I am more than happy and comfortable with my purchase and I am thankful I dealt with this dealership rather than any others.

I went for a quick lube job cuz the maintenance warning light came on. The advisor Charles waited on me. Then I told him that I will be waiting in the next room where the cafeteria is. I was watching TV and at times talking to other guests. First dumb mistake: he said he came looking for me to let me know that my car was ready. There must have been 4 or 5 guests there at the most and he said he didn't see me. After about one and half hours I decided to check on the status of my car and it was ready half an hour ago. Second dumb mistake the warning light was still on and I asked him if they could get rid of it. He said I had to leave the car there for 2 days and will cost $139 to diagnose it. Javier, the other advisor heard it and reset the light for me for free and took 3 minutes. Very incompetent advisor and could have messed me up big time and I will never use him again

It was such a tough task to find a good reliable used car that wasn’t beaten up too bad. My price range was 6000 so I had a lot of dealerships trying to get me to finance and do other things. Right when I stepped foot on Alamo car Centers lot their inventory spoke for itself. All the prices and information was on the windshield and they also had a Carfax for all of their vehicles which was very helpful. I already recommended them to a neighbor and my family members and friends hear about them.

I walked in the dealership expecting more of the same pressure other dealerships use as a tactic. James Gonzales was there waiting for me, as nice and attentive as could be. He knew I came in specifically looking at a VW Sportwagen and that's exactly what we did.
The test drive was prefect and I knew I wanted this car. We sat down and he gave me options and advice. Never pressuring me in the process. It was late in the day and after talking things through, I opted on finishing the buying process the next day.
James was patient and thorough. He gave me all the info I needed and kept correspondence with me to make the process seamless.
His calm demeanor and valued respect for me trying to make this big decision is what I remember being the catalyst for my purchase.

Bottom line about buying a car to me is what it is all about once you have decided on the equipment of the model you want. No games, just some back and forth, give and take but in the end a deal I could live with – incidentally the same deal I had indicated going in that would be the only one acceptable to me.
Loved their sales price, dealer discounts and the rebates! No name calling, no long waits, still lots of paperwork, but I have to say, they really want to sell you a car!

I recently moved to the SA area and was looking for a good reliable used car. After looking at a few dealers, I finally decided to purchase a vehicle from Premier Stop after visiting them twice. During both visits, David, the salesman, was very courteous and helpful, along with their admin staff. I ran into some minor issues after purchasing the vehicle, such as: car remote didn't work--Took it back and they replaced the battery. Funny noise coming from the rear of the vehicle--a result of uneven tread on tires, so they replaced them with a set of used ones--problem solved. David also replaced a few missing clips for the rear fender assembly to hold it in place. I bought my car in Aug and 4 months later I haven't had any issues with it. Since I paid cash, I can't provide any feedback about their credit process/service, but as mentioned before, Jackeleen was very courteous and professional when handling the purchase paperwork. I rated it 4 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement, and some of these issues could have been avoided by going that extra step or two; however, they were willing to fix the issues in a professional manner. I would definitively recommend this dealership, but like EVERYTHING else, ask questions, be an informed consumer and don't expect a used car to be in PERFECT condition.
