Worst Service Center experience I have ever had to endure - Carrington
Took my truck in on a Monday morning, was able to pick it up ten days later. This was for review of an oil leak and two recall works. The recall works were performed on Tuesday. I had to wait eight more days for someone to check the oil leak. I received several calls updating me about the recall work and then nothing. I called four times over the next 4 days. On Friday, I was told that my truck was still waiting, up it was the 'next one to go into the shop'... I heard this same excuse on the previous days, every time I called, the truck was the 'next one to go in'. Apparently there only one mechanic that can review a possible oil leak. I told them to pull my truck out of line, I will take it Leif Johnson. The Server person hung up on me... Quite the professional attitude for calming irate customers. Just hang up the phone. It was almost as good as the girl that answered the phone, told me my truck was 'next in line to go into the shop' for review. She just passed the phone on to someone else to listen to my complaint. On Monday, Frankie, a new service rep called and told me that if I wanted, the one and only mechanic was ready to look at my truck.
This was truck # 5 from Maxwell Ford, the first Factory warranty work on any of the trucks and it will be my last business with Maxwell Ford. I'll find another dealership for future service work and new vehicles. I don't really blame the service reps, I think that management process sets them up for failure. But I don't need to put up with the complete lack of customer service and professionalism that.
Poor New Customer Service - I Give Up
I was referred to this dealer from a friend so had high hopes, but once I got the process of buying a car, it all went downhill.
I started the process at 10 am with the application, trade-in amount, etc. and it's now 6 pm and still no response.
I talked to one person who told me what to send and what car I wanted then nothing. Tried to call the finance department only to be hung up on and I mean they picked up the phone and hung up like I was bothering them.
I made many calls to the person I was talking to and even got a contact number for another person and left many voicemails only never to get a response.
Someone needs to help this dealership learn what Effective Communication is and how to treat potential customers.
I am taking my businesses elsewhere. Buy hey if you want nothing but frustration be my guest.
Replacement of a catalytic converter on my 2013 Lincoln MKS - ABB2013
This service department is EXCELLENT! I always find the entire department courteous, professional and highly skilled. But this service department has gone beyond this description - they also are honest and trustworthy. I have a 2013 Lincoln MKS with nearly 138,000 miles on it. My check-engine light has been on intermittently for a few weeks, so I made an appointment with the Johnson Sewell Service Dept. The technician quickly identified the problem, and both Rob Cormier and Gene Baker, managers, gave me an honest and fair estimate of repair. They offered to help me with the considerable cost through their customer satisfaction program. Much appreciated, as I'm on a fixed income and really can't afford a new car at the moment. Went in for window not working they fixed it I got it back then both stopped working 3 days later and the transmission started slipping . They quoted me 7200 for new transmission or 4300 for used with 90 day warranty. Prior to that the told me I need new control arms little did they know those were are replaced. Tey have had my car now for 3 weeks for a simple window switch. They are slow they try to over charge you and charge you for things you dont need. My door panel was off for them and the switch in the floor board.

We have a Lexus and the dealer has great service and clean showrooms and service area. After reading Lincoln's pitch on the web about picking up one's car for service we thought we would give Lincoln a try. At Covert, there was no parking, dirty showroom and dirty cars. Went to the showroom and waited 1-1/2 hours but nobody wanted to wait on us no matter what we tried. So, we left.

This dealership is the reason my new car is a Toyota. I have never received more disappointing service. I previously owned a Ford Focus which I took to this dealership to fix a broken door latch. This was a full year before the official recall of the door latches on The Ford Focus so I had to pay over $600 to fix it. It took several days to get my car back. After I received my car which had supposedly been fixed, the door that they had replaced the door latch on was not locking electronically. I called the dealership in hopes that they would look at it for free since this problem had only occurred after they "fixed" my door latch and they refused. I spent a whole year driving around with a door that would not lock electronically and because of this my car would make the "lock" honk while I was driving. It was so frustrating. Finally, I received a notice from Ford that there was a recall on the door latches so I took my car in to A DIFFERENT FORD DEALERSHIP and scheduled an appointment to have the rest of the door latches replaced. I was so nervous and even explained my previous situation at Maxwell to the people at this new dealership before handing them my car. Well my goodness what a pleasant change. I received my car the next day AND I was told that whoever had replaced my door latch at Maxwell had PUT AN INCORRECT DOOR LATCH ON. So not only did I pay over $600, receive my car several days later, have the door latch for a different vehicle installed that ultimately resulted in my door locking mechanism not to work, but Maxwell refused to ever accept responsibility for their mistake. DO NOT VISIT THIS DEALERSHIP.
