Emich Service - ctom
We had been using another dealership to service our Chevrolets and were not at all satisfied. We thought we would give Emich a try. Since purchasing our NEW diesel Colorado a year ago from a different dealership, every time we went on long trips we were faced with warning messages and engine lights and forced to find the closest dealership that would just clear the messages before the vehicle went into limp mode. When I got to the Service Center I was greeted by a Service Advisor named Erin Stockman. Since I had been having issues I was already upset when I walked in the door. She advised me that with no indicator lights or messages in the computer it might be difficult to diagnose, but to leave it with them. Erin said that Emich has a mechanic who owns a diesel Colorado and he could give it a look. I was not confident that they would find anything as we had been down this road before with no answers and no satisfaction. About an hour and a half later, to my surprise, I got a phone call saying that they found a bad DEF injector. They replaced the injector and I picked the truck up the next day. We recently went on a 1400 mile trip with no issues! It was such a relief that I stopped at the Emich Service Dept. and gave Erin a kudos, and asked her to give the same to the mechanic who worked on the truck. Would highly recommend this service department!
Thank you Emich!

Awful Experience! - 1RadVette
Truly awful experience!!! Made an appointment at 11:30am to have a "new-to-me" Corvette checked for recalls and software updates. After waiting for 10 minutes just standing around, I was approached by one of the service technicians that just said "Oil Change?" , I said no that I had an appointment, and the technician asked me irrelevant questions not pertaining to my vehicle or appointment. I was then asked by Kirk(Kurt?) why I was there, told him I had an appointment and wanted to check for the mentioned items. He states that there was no recalls, and that they wouldn't do any updated to the car unless there were issues. This is the first time in owning cars for 20 years that I've been told by a service adviser that updates would not be applied to a car. (What about improvements to the software, ECM, TCM?!) Then I inquired about an alignment, of which he said that I'd have to leave the car and they wouldn't be able to start on it until late afternoon, even though I had an 11:30am appointment. I'm picky about whom I let work on my cars, and as an owner I can be, I'm the one paying and I expect exceptional service. There are many GM dealerships in Denver, all with certified technicians, and I recommend everyone choose a different one for service; Len Lyall service is rude, unorganized, and seemingly could care less about your business. Awful!
Don't go here! - Amanda Busnardo
Took 6 hours before I received a phone call that they had looked at my car. What's the point of making an appointment to bring the car in? I was encouraged to drive a car with damaged timing chain, balance chain and the parts holding them in place. The manager didn't even remember talking to me on the phone the day before when I expressed my concerns. Wasn't allowed to talk to the mechanic about my concerns over the phone, and would probably only have a minute to spare later when I came in to pick it up. Wasn't offered a rental car though my car had to remain in the shop over the weekend because parts were not in to fix the car. Upset with GM for not taking financial responsibility for the damaged timing chain, it became damaged due to oil consumption issues. I'm truly dreading bringing my car back in as I've now started the oil consumption testing.

I took my tow truck into Reliance a few months ago, the... - stevefutterer
I took my tow truck into Reliance a few months ago, the online reviews I found on them seemed really good and was the main reason I chose them. This was my first mistake and I didnt realize it until I received my quote from Dan Jamroz from the email email@example.com one click on Dan`s name brought me to the reviews he had done on his own company on http://citysearch.com, http://insiderpages.com and a few other sites. Upon further inspection I noticed that the 5 or 6 reviews on each site all happened on the exact same day and within about 30 minutes of eachother. Why would a company go through all this trouble to create a good name for themselves? Well upon further review of my quote I realized why. Right off the bat, the least amount of markup on an individual part was just under 600%, most of the parts were marked up over 1000%. They quoted my just over $2400 to redo my entire front suspension. Interestingly enough parts, labor, and tax only added up to just under $2200, when I asked about the extra markup Danny at the counter seemed embarrassed, but just played dumb. Pretty steep, considering the only parts they listed that I actually needed replaced was my pitman arms. Yep, really and truly, I passed a thorough DOT inspection after many repairs were done, but not a single one that was recommended by reliance was deemed necessary. Oh and the story is not done yet, when I had to pay for their `diagnostics` before getting a quote they couldnt provide me with change and told me they would just apply the $63 I over paid to future repairs, over two weeks later I finally get the repair quote, yes, over two weeks after the diagnostic was done they finally give me their quote which is when I went and picked up my truck. Ive called Danny at the front counter many times just trying to get back what belongs to me, everytime he says `oh darnit, I put that request on so and so`s desk`, its been over a month, just give me my money. They are liars and thieves and the reason people think of mechanics as such.
