Sleazy sales team - R2
Absolutely furious with this dealership and sales team! I called and specifically told Travis in sales what I was looking for before I came to the dealership. A Kia Soul with no money down and no more than $400 a month. I took a test drive with him in the Soul. I wanted to go through and see what we can get financing wise. Sometimes numbers work, sometimes they don’t. I had already been there a long time so I told him I was going home. I sent him all the documents he and the finance team needed to run the numbers.
He texts me this morning and says his manager doesn’t want to talk about numbers over the phone because he worked so hard to get this done and wants to see how happy I am when I get my new Soul. I told him I wasn’t coming back until the numbers I’m looking for are in my range. He then asks what my plan was if the numbers he had weren’t ones I was looking for. I told him that was MY business. He then responds I guess we’re at an impasse then. Then responds they can do 500 a month with zero down. Is this common practice for your dealership to hold numbers hostage under your customers acquiesce to demands!? Is it not your jobs to run these numbers and accommodate customers!?! What kind of dealership is this!? I then get a call from someone else who says they can go lower. I tell them get me to 400 and I’ll come back. Oh my GM needs you here. No they don’t, they can talk to the bank without my presence. Then the GM calls and leaves a voicemail he needs me in the office. I told them if they get to 400 I’ll come back. Funny how it goes from 500 to just about what I wanted but not quite. I am seriously considering calling the BBB and filing a complaint! I am completely disgusted at this point. Do NOT shop here!

I cannot recall the name of the salesperson I dealt with but I do recall the lousy way I was treated when purchasing my Mitsubishi Galant. The deal wasn't bad, but when I inquired about the missing remote for the keyless entry, I was given the runaround because the dealer didn't want to give me a replacement. THERE IS NO KEY ENTRY FOR THE TRUNK! The only way to access it easily is with the remote.
I fianally convinced them to get me one, but the salesman wrote up the work order for another KEY!
It finally took a floor manager charging the remote to the scumbag salesman to get one ordered.
A+ to management, but that salesman needs to be fired.
