When I heard that my salesman's name was Angel, I knew only good things were going to happen! I collect angels and my brother is an angel sitting with God protecting me every day. Now I have him sitting on Angel's shoulder protecting him as well. Angel was the best salesman I've ever had. There was absolutely no pressure, he always made sure things were how I wanted them. It used to be that a woman shouldn't go to a dealership without a man because they would take advantage of you. It isn't like that anymore. Multiple visits for factory recall - Subaruowner
We are very happy with the Subaru we bought from Shingle Springs Subaru. All of the employees we dealt with were courteous, friendly and professional.
My only suggestion for improvement is that when Subaru acknowledges the need for a recall the part should be in stock at the dealership. It was a inconvenient to return to the dealership to have the analysis and then part installed. Initially the service technician I spoke with on the phone knew pretty much what the problem was because of the recall incidents. When I showed up at the dealership the part should have been there and installed. But instead the car was inspected and then I had to return to the dealership (40 miles from my home) to have the part installed.
I close by saying we are very happy with our Subaru and the Shingle Springs staff.

Ricky Martinez was incredibly patient and helpful. We drove around the lot, the parking garage and over to the storage lot on Mill Street until we found the PERFECT car for me. We found the car I wanted, with the interior color I wanted, with all of the additions I was hoping for! Ricky worked hard to get me the payments I was happy with, and the price I was looking for on my trade-in. All in all, an EASY process! I arranged to collect the car a couple of days later so there was time to get the windows tinted and the car prepped for collection. I traded in my old car and the changeover was SEAMLESS! John Davidson was a great salesman. So was everyone through the finance process. However, once I got to the service department, it tanked. I purchased the Cilajet protection package and returned my car to the dealership for the installation. Nobody told me my car was going to be driven to Rancho Cordova and back (I can imagine whoever drove my SS probably had a great time in it-who knows what they did to it!). When I picked my car up, it was delivered to me with the gas light on and the gauge on the red line. How is that acceptable? It was like pulling teeth for them to even give me a gallon of gas so I could make it to the gas station, which I found ridiculous after I paid over $40,000 for the car. Their communication with the customer needs to improve as well as the treatment of the customer once the sale is finalized.

Absolute scam artist. When you think of the stereotypical used car salesmen and all the negativity that goes along with it that's Niello Acura to a T! Spoke with a salesman about a truck I was interested in that they have listed for 2700 over what car gurus carfax etc says the truck is worth. I told them what I want to pay and asked if that's possible, the salesman assured me they would "make it work" I have no car as I sold mine a few weeks ago. They offered to pick me up in the truck I was interested in. The truck was fine I drove it back to the dealership and they sat me down and after negotiating moved nowhere close to what I told them I could afford, 3k more! How is that making it work? Making it work for them maybe! They figured If they had me out there with no ride home I would just pay full price? I told them I couldn't afford what they have it listed for and now they have me stranded out here 30min away from my home! I now have to pay $30 for an uber.

They made me feel that they were behind me. Had me bend the truth on my application I put a down payment down and left with a used vehicle. 3 days later I was told they could not finance me and to bring the car back. Then I was told I would receive my down payment back within 48 hours. I then went to another dealer and I got a brand new car with a 12% interest rate rather than 24% at Paul Blanco. After 2 weeks I still hadn’t gotten my money back so I reported fraud to my bank. I had in my account in just a few hours. Please do not go there!

I bought my 2005 Ford Five Hundred Limited from Alan's Auto Network over 3 months ago & I have already paid off the car. A bill of sale was written up that I would be given stock rims and tires because I didn't like what was on the car & Alan told me I would receive new rims & tires when I bought the vehicle. I have repeatedly called & stopped by asking for Alan and to have him call me for over 3 months asking when I would receive what the deal was on the bill of sale. Only once have I received a phone call back from Alan & nothing was resolved because they were searching still searching for the tires. After month two, I was told they had the rims so I went by to see them & take them with me, they were used & a little scratched but at that point I didn't care because I just wanted to be done with this place & for them to hurry & get to tires now. But I was told I couldn't take them & would have to wait for the tires, who had to be put on by "their guy". I am still being told they are waiting for the tires to come in "their guys" shop & the tires are hard to find in that size. So I decided to call four different tire shops in Reno & each one had the tire I need in multiple different brands. At this point I think I deserve brand new tires & rims. Especially after spending over $3,000 rebuilding my transmission because it started acting up the evening I bought it. Which I made them aware of & they failed to remember when I brought it up last time I was there. Yet I took it to him that same week I bought it & he took it to another "friends shop" for a transmission flush. I couldn't even find the shop at the address they gave me so makes me extremely skeptical that anything was ever looked at or done.
The above written is what I sent into the BBB on 6/15/16. The below is their response.
-When this customer purchased the vehicle 3 months ago, he was told we would replace the serpentine belt & rear brakes. We also said we would replace the wheels with stock wheels. The repairs were done at his convenience & we started our search for "stock" wheels - not always an easy task. We have been working with him to get this resolved. We were able to acquire the rims fairly quickly, but were unable to get good quality used tires. When we exhausted all our sources, we decided to purchase new tires for him. He kept insisting he wanted to take the rims, buy tires, have them installed on his car & wanted us to reimburse him. We do not work that way. We have our sources & our systems we follow. We also wanted to make sure we retained the rims & tires that were already on the car. This process is vital to our business. He got very angry when we wouldn't turn the rims over to him. When we got the new tires, we advised him (around the 3rd of June) to come in around the 6th or 7th to put them on his car. He said he couldn't because his parents were in town, but he would call us. We hadn't heard from him until this BBB complaint. On 6/21/16, we again called him to ask him to bring the car in to put the tires and rims on his car. He said he was too busy right now, but would try to come in on Saturday, the 25th. We need to schedule appointments to have work done - the attitude of "try to make it" doesn't allow for scheduling. He has been unreasonable and not working with us every since we wouldn't let him take the rims himself. The ball is again in his court to come in and get this taken care of.
-They said I got angry. Yes, I did get angry. But not for the reason they claim. I was angry because I had to wait 3 months for the tires and rims I was promised on the bill of sale THREE MONTHS AGO. They claim they had the tires when my parents were in town in the beginning of June. I dropped my car off the day they claimed they had them which was Friday June 3rd. I left and got a rental car. I called a few times again only to be told they didn't have the tires and they would call again the following Monday. I proceeded to pick my car up the day after I dropped it off, Saturday June 4th and said to call me when they were ready. So the BBB response is a lie. I went there with my father the day before my parents were leaving to ask what the deal was and once again, they said I would get a call when they found something. The tires on this car are expensive. I would be held responsible for the cost to replace one if a tire were to need replacing before I received the new one. I can not afford the cost of replacing such a large low profile tire which is why it was such a big deal to have them replaced in the first place. Every time I went up there they tried to convince me to just keep them. Something isn't right about this place. If you buy a car & never have an issue consider it pure luck. The owner is a liar and his employees are useless. Learn to tell your boss about his phone calls or you're going to lose a lot of business.
