Service department - misterbungle
I have 3 Kias in the family, bought over 3 years, when this was Car Pros Kia. I did that since they always took care of me.
Since Trophy took over the dealership and renamed it, I’m sorry to say that this is a different place now. As you line up to enter the service area, you have sales walking the line “checking you in”. They either take a picture of your VIN or ask if you are currently an owner or on a lease.
The same people will come up to you asking the same question while in the lobby.
One of my vehicles has a check engine light requiring replacement of a part under warranty.
I bring it in on a Friday for repairs, and after an hour of waiting, the power goes out in the facility. 3 hours later, find out that no work whatsoever was done.
Bring it in a week later on a Saturday. My wife tells the manager that I would be here today.
I show up at 7am.
Knowing that it’s a 3 hour job, I wait until it hits the 4 hour mark. I was marked as someone who is waiting for the repairs. I’m told that it’s ready and wait for it to be brought to me. An hour later, I’m told that I need to speak with my service advisor.
Find out that the manager pulled the service order from the advisor and removed the note that I was waiting!
I’m close to 7 hours now of being at the dealership and told it will take a few hours to get this done.
I ask to speak with the manager and am told that he has already left! How convenient!
I will be reporting this to Kia Corporate and luckily I do know someone who works there.
Sad to say that even though this dealership is very close to home, I will only come here from now on for my free oil changes. I will drive an extra 20 minutes and will be going to Garden Grove Kia from now on.
THREE HOURS FOR OIL CHANGE - DJ
So, I brought my car for an oil change on a Saturday. Customer service was rude, and it took three hours for a simple service. I don’t know, but if you have extra time to waste, then by all means take your car to Kia Huntington Beach.
Great service! - Iheartsam
Great service! Hopefully the car wash service is available in time for my next. Will continue to come here for all my car needs. Thank you for the great customer service.
promises promises - gilamor
they promises they can put a roof rack on my car but after i bought it parts say it cant be done
also the car comes with a charger and it was not there
i paid 19.000 for the car and every attempt to get it done was fails

i even went to the dealership couple of times
They didn’t honor the negotiated price agreed-upon - Sl53
I live 30 miles away from this dealership and negotiate the terms down payment, monthly payment, out the door pricing. The sales manager agreed to the terms and said to come in. When I did everything got confused supposedly and the pricing went up $55 a month. I appealed to the general sales manager Hiro And explain I had a verbal contract in place but nothing changed. I wasted three hours of my time and 3 gallons of fuel for nothing. Not an apology! They have no shame and basically don’t care what they have promised once you get there. By the way the place is a small hole in the wall dealership with not much to offer. I guess you don’t have much to lose when you’re a small dealership that prey on customers.
Discriminatory Liars! - Victor
We agreed over the phone with Jayed, so I'll drive in the morning from LA to buy the car with $3K on my credit card and the remaining with personal check. Upon finalizing the deal they wanted to run my credit?! For what?? I'm paying it in full, I don't need a loan. They started changing terms every 2 minutes from that point on.
The guy from finance department stated that he had to make sure that I'm who I said I was and that I wasn't a terrorist. So for that he had to run credit check. He had no slightly idea how "Patriot Act" and "OFAC" list work. You don't need social security number to check OFAC list you so-called "finance specialist".
He stated that credit check will lower my score for just 1-2 points: another Lie. I worked for the bank before and inquiry will lower my score from 5-15 pints, plus if I don't get the loan after inquiry, it will limit my ability to get credit anywhere else in the future. This finance guy is so far from any finance knowledge.
Co my DL, credit cards and US citizen passport are not enough for establishing identity at this dealership, but it's good enough for everything else.
Furthermore is worst, they wanted cashiers check and they started accusations like, what if your check bounces, what if you dispute the credit card charge etc.
They treat you literally as Criminal like if you're trying to commit the crime by buying the car.
I advised that I can bring cashiers check from local bank, but Jayed stated that cashiers check can be cancelled too. How low can someone go with these type of statements?!
I offered them to keep the car until all payments are cleared, but it wasn't enough too. Manager Chad suggested to bring all in cash?! Really?! I have to walk around with 18K cash?!
What kind of business are they running here?? Why do you have credit card machine and you stated that you can accept up to $3K by Credit card and the rest is personal check and now you want all in cash?!
In reality they never cared about terrorism, "Patriot Act" and "OFAC", they didn't have even idea about IRS Form 8300 transaction report.
Since when people trying to buy the car with CC and personal check treated like xxxxxxxxxx and criminals?
This dealership is the worst in the nation - they will profile you then discriminate you, insult you all the way.
Credi check for "Patriot Act" and "OFAC" reasons are illegal! Keep that in mind.
You are DISCRIMINATING and YOU are PATHOLOGICAL INCOMPETENT LIARS!
Bait and switch - Chaotic Neutral
Negotiated most of the deal, was ready to make the transaction, then finance manager demanded a huge payment that had never been discussed and abruptly killed the deal when I said no.
Unprofessional, sloppy and dishonest.
crankshaft pulley bolt - R&T
I am consistent about maintaining my car and when things come up. Had a weird vibration in the steering wheel that was diagnosed as nothing. This happened just prior to the 100,000 mile warranty expiration. I took it in again when it persisted, just slightly after the 100,000 mile warranty expired and the problem was diagnosed as a broken crankshaft pulley bolt. They also gave us the impression that they knew if was probably this problem when we brought it in originally. I was furious but what can you do. Now, years later, I receive a class action lawsuit notice about this very problem. Bad news is that I have sense tossed the receipt to prove that I had to pay the $1,000+ repair bill. Very, very frustrating.
