great experience - areyouinsane?
Jordan was personal, informative, and patient, when a last-minute issue delayed my trading my lease for a new car. I’ll be back, to Center, and to work with Jordan.

This is my third Bmw with Sami. I keep going back because he’s honest, polite and knowledgeable! Michael, the finance manager walked me through each step. He explained to me all my option and went over the paperwork in detail with me. You must go see them!

Just ask for Martin Dino - Jfmilaski
Very happy with South Bay BMW and Martin Dino. He was very professional, friendly and responsive to emails. With such a large inventory, Martin was able to get me a better deal than any other dealership. Trust me, I tried!
When I came in to test drive the car, he let me drive every car I wanted and explained in depth the features of all my options. Martin was more concerned with me being comfortable and happy with my purchase than anything else. There was no pressure to buy.
So if you are looking for a great car buying experience, just ask for Martin Dino!
my new M2 - mhershman

Would not recommend - bmw640i
I had a very bad experience with this dealer. I leased a corporate pre-leased 6 series from them and I was assured the car was fully inspected (sales BS) during the test drive where i brought up hearing a rattling noise with the car. To which the salesman said he cannot hear and its not there.
Made an appt with a closeby dealer to find out that the rear strut is bad and leaking oil. the noise was confirmed by the foreman during a test drive. Since the strut is not available in the US, it has to be shipped from Germany and i have to go back again. Foreman also discovered there is an issue with the passenger side sear air bag and i had to leave the car there for 5 days.
I have to take the car again once the parts arrive.
For getting an almost new car (7K miles) that as supposed to be tested, i shouldn't be spending time at the service dept and going back and forth this soon (first week).I sent an email to the salesman, internet sales manager and ops manage ... no response
This will be first and last time.

NICK'S MINI REVIEW - Yvonne R
I worked with Paul who was great. He was honest and fair in coming to an agreement in the sale of the vehicle. He had all the answers and information I needed. He was great to work with and I look forward to working with him again in the future.
finance dept gap coverage doesnt pay the gap - shawnA
I purchased a 335i and used bmw finance and purchased the gap coverage through them. BMW doesn't dispute this at all. The car was totaled in an accident their gap insurance didn't cover the gap I found out a year later when BMW sent $132.00 to collections dinging my credit. No one will help me at the dealership or BMW finance... Buyer be ware they don't stand behind their service.
Destroyed my car - sammyjoe
Took the car here for an airbag recall at 8am. Asked them to check the engine overheating when idle and PDC controller.
Manfred Guzman, who is the most disinterested technician in the world, gave me a $5000+ estimate for major oil and coolant leaks and PDC controller change.
They said they could do a coolant flush for $450. I said ok. They returned the car next day morning. No body cares to tell me anything about the service, just flicking you like a fly in a third world country government office.
I took the car and drive to Hollywood. The car overheated more than it ever did in traffic and stalled 7 times in an hour of driving. It never has done that before.
I took it back. They said that the Radiator fan doesn't work a $1900 service. Reminding you that I had gone for a airbag recall and occasional overheat warning (once a month when idle for more than 40 mins).
I asked them for a refund since they did not fix the issue and made it worse!!! Manfred said he actually did the work, so there is no refund. I said the fan was working before i left your service center!!!! It broke because of your faulty service!!!!!! He did not assume nay responsibility. He rather said, replace the fan for $1900, another coolant leak for $1300 and still no guarantee that the issue will be fixed. It could be an engine crack and gasket leak and other garbage jargon that could cost more than the car is worth.
So I asked him, you just keep changing parts and put brand new ones, until the whole car is replaced? That's your repair strategy???
I took it to Checkpoint Automotive, 3 guys with 150 years of German service experience. They fixed all the major issues in $1350 including a brand new BMW radiator fan (which I need not have to replace for $950!!!!!!), oil and coolant leaks. They also told me that BMW did not know what it was doing and they had not done the coolant flush right. They had to redo it.
What a bunch of xxxxxxx!!!!!! Worst experience of a lifetime!!!
Checkpoint also kept my car running on idle for 2 hours even before they called me to come pick it up, making sure that the issue was fixed. I ran the car for the entire day after I picked it up including hours of idling in LA traffic and zero issues.
Go to xxxx BMW Santa Monica. What is total ripoff and a total disconcern for the customer!!! If I had the time and money I'd take you to be grilled by Judge Judy and get my money back!!!
PS: I totally forgot that I had called them 4 times to schedule my Airbag recall and they were trying to dodge me because i have a salvage title. Patching me through to the manager who I left multiple voice messages. Eventually I received a postcard in the mail with their corporate number and they had to pressure these guys to schedule my airbag recall.
To be fair, the only good person in the whole establishment was the lady who booked my Uber rides to and from the service center.
Buyer Beware! - VroomVroom
I am appalled at the horrible business practices of Beverly Hills BMW (which isn’t even in Beverly Hills by the way). I was interested in purchasing a “certified pre-owned” BMW that this dealership had listed for sale on its website. I arrived at the dealership, test drove the car and was ready to purchase it. My sales person then told me that the car is not certified pre-owned. When I began to question this and mentioned that the car is being falsely advertised, she went to speak to her manager. She then came back and said the car isn’t certified but can be certified, but I felt I was being lied to. It seemed like this “manager” was having his employee say whatever it took to sell me the car. I said “no thank you” and left. I ended up buying my car at a BMW dealership that was 50 miles away. The honesty of that dealership and the peace of mind it gave me made it worth the trip. I will never deal with Beverly Hills BMW again.
Terrible Service-Good Luck With That - Woods1984
Had purchased my X3 there. It had a recall so called service who told me the part was in stock. In the recall letter it said they can have a car for me when I drop it off so I requested one. They told me they would have one if one is available. Wow, that was a surprise. They asked me to make sure I told my service rep when I arrived for the appointment. Set an appointment for my only day off. When I arrive a service rep named Darin rudely came up to me. As a woman, with an accent, he proceeded to treat me like I was second class. He then told me the part was not in that I must be the one who was wrong. He then told me come back next week and walked away. I am very unhappy and will be contacting my attorney. At the very least this person should not be in a customer facing role. BMW here in Valencia has gone down hill and I will be surprised if they do NOT go out of business here soon.
