Once I made my decision about the car I wanted, Andrew was very clear and broke down the total price of the car and what discounts and promotional offers that came with the purchase of that vehicle. Although they didn't have the Bolt EV in the color that I wanted, Andrew contacted other dealerships and had the car delivered so I could drive away in my new car before the end of the day. This was my first purchase of a new car and it turned out to be a great experience without the stressful negotiation process I anticipated.

Top of truck was scraped as dealer employee drove under canopy. Tiny damage on fender was spray painted to cover it up. Paint colors didn’t match. I was not made aware of these things when I picked up the truck. I had to bring it to their attention. Other than that, everything else was good.

I was so impressed with my treatment at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. Yobani Graciano was very apologetic that the item I needed replaced was not in stock. He suggested keeping the car at the dealership, but I needed it that day. He said the part would be in between 11:00 and 1:00 that day, but I chose to make another appointment for the next day. He said he would personally make sure the part was in the next morning. Yobani set up an appointment for me, filled out all the paperwork so I wouldn't have to wait, and was extremely courteous. The next morning I arrived for my appointment, and Fernando Trejo took care of me. The paperwork was ready, the item was in stock, and before very long my car was serviced and I was on my way. Fernando was very helpful and polite. He even had my car washed before he returned it to me.
The cashier, Ursula Ramos, was extremely courteous. She even gave me a bouquet of flowers to thank me for servicing my car at their dealership. Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove will continue to be my service shop of choice.

beware. I bought a brand new car off the showroom. Had problems. I kept bringing it to Chevy Martin service for over a year. They kept telling me that they "could not replicate the problem". Then, as soon as warranty was up, they said I needed a trnsmission. Crooks. One star is one too many.

Dealership advertised their 2017 used Chevy Cruze for $14,888.00. This price was confirmed over the phone and before I took a test drive. Dealer obtained my personal and insurance info and ran my credit which is excellent. After waiting for about 45 minutes, the manager approached me and said the price is about $4,000.00 more than advertised. They offered me to see if there is another car I might like, saying the price was a mistake. After an argument, I left the dealership without a car. While on my way home, I received a text message telling me that the dealership is willing to give me the car for $15,513.00 plus tax. I did not take their new offer as it was above their advertised price. This must be the way this establishment lures customers in and then tries to get more money than what they advertise.

BUYERS BEWARE! I hope my experience with this horrible dealership will prevent you from time and headaches as they do not care about serving the needs of the customers rather than their own pockets. I drove an hour to see a used Honda Accord Sport on Saturday (10/13) and was greeted by a friendly team member David. Took for a test drive and I loved the car. Sat down with Eddie who tried to give me his best pricing and while he gave me a lot of pressure, I informed him that I would like to take a day to think about his offer as there were two other dealerships I was in talks with. Then comes Roger (assistant sales manager) and he actually gave me a very good offer, but because it was a big purchase for me I thanked him for the offer and gave him my word that I will be back next day with my final decision and I did. I drove yet another hour and they gave me the VIP appointment. You know what this VIP appointment looked like? They were short-staffed and made me wait 45 minutes in the lobby until Roger came out to finally discuss my decision. Keep in mind, I was ready to buy this car and brought my down payment as well. Then everything went south. Roger decided to change his mind on the offer he gave me less than 24 hrs ago. And it turns out, they lied about the mileage. They advertised as 6,400 miles, but it turns out it was 11,200 miles! Then they changed the offer and increased $2000! I was so disgusted by their bait and switch and no apologies were given. Their website still says 6400 miles. Deceitful, dishonest, and shady! I also spoke to Edward who is the sales manager and explained all this to him. No apologies about my experience or the very fact they lied about the mileage. I hope no customer would go through what I went through with Glendora Chevrolet. Please, if you're reading this go to another Chevrolet dealership and save yourself the headaches.

I was at this dealer on 9/12/18. I originally came to look at a 2013 Silverado 1500 price at just over 23,000. When I arrived I was told it was sold. So I found 2015 Silverado 1500 with the window price of 22981. We went to work a deal. I was pre approved for financing to 25000. I was trading a Jeep in with some negative equity. I was told by Andy and sells manager I couldn't get it for what I was approved for but to come up to 29000 and we would have a deal. So I left empty handed and drove 1.5 hours back home. I then got my approval up to 30000. Went back on Friday 9/14/18 and went in to do deal on same 2015 Silverado with same window price of 22981 in window. I was told that their online price was 25740 so that's what I had to pay. I said will your window says 22981 that's what I am legally entitled to. They said well I don't think we can do that. I said i was told Wednesday that if I was approved for 30000 I would have a deal so I drove another 1.5 hours to come and make the deal and they refused to work with me. They refused to unless I would go thru their approval process and have my credit ran again even though I was already approved and ready to fund the 30000. They then said ok we will work things out and call you in the morning and deliver the truck to you. I got a call the next morning from Magik and he said we won't take your financing but bring us a check for 33500 and we have a deal. So they want me to pay another 3500 more then what we agreed upon before and wouldn't use the financing I was approved for. So needless to say I won't be working with them. I will take my business elsewhere. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM.

I tried to return/extend a leased car on behalf of my sister who is not in the area. First visit, They told me that I cannot extend the lease of the car. was also told that they do not accept lease return . I went there after a long drive to find out that I had to return to grab my other car key that I forgot to bring. Second visit, went there again and was told that they do not inspect the car. I asked if I was able to return the car in place of my sister they said "yes". Third visit, I came the next week after getting it inspected and they said that I could NOT return it on behalf of my sister, and I asked again if I can extend the lease, they said I can do it through the gm financial. The sales manager was very unfriendly was not helpful at all. Did not listen to what I say or try to understand my situation. Talked back with a higher tone instead of listening. I called GM financial and found out that I could extend the lease. GM said that the car is grounded already and I can't extend the lease because of that. I still DRIVE the car, but the system says that the car is GROUNDED. I called the dealer and spoke with the sales manager again and was told that I could not UNGROUND the car. I had to explain with a very high tone and volume for him to listen, and he said that I had to got to the dealer and write him a check before he unground it for me. Then he said he was joking. NOT funny, I told him that they were very inconsistent, and he just shut the phone on me, did not care to listen to what I have to say. Apparently they jut want your money, and does not care to help you at all. They made me came back and forth to the dealership and did not provide any acceptable service.

I saw a used 370z in their parking lot. I was standing outside until a sales man I think named Alex finally came up to me. After taking it for a test drive and teaching the sales guy how the car worked he asked to come in for a drink of water. I had 10 grand in my pocket to put down on this car. I asked them how much is the car. They told me 33000, I told them I would give them 30 out the door. Instead they wanted to work the "four Square" deal out Never ever trust this form of negotiation. I let him work up the numbers but they seemed a bit off. I pulled out my smart phone, (there is a car loan app) and used it. I pulled up my numbers and pointed where he was wrong. The sales person said those things are never right.. Its a calculator not hocus pocus. I gave up after that because I know I was getting the shaft. I really liked the car and was willing to leave with it.
After I left I looked on Autotrader.com and they had it priced at 30!!!!!! Two weeks later it was priced at 28. They could have made more money with me. Honesty is the best policy. I would not recommend this place at all.

Stock on hand was minimal and had 4kmi on the one I was interested in. Salesman threw in floor mats that weren't for the truck I looked at.

With only 14,000 miles on my car, the battery went dead on a Saturday. At 1:45 I called the dealer to find out what to do. I was told by Carlos they didn't have my battery but I should call Monrovia. I called Monrovia and Eric told me to call Pasadena because they didn't have the battery either. No answer from Pas. Called Eric back and He told me to have AAA change battery due to "emergency situation - I'd be carless". Eric said O'Donnell would reimburse me for battery since it only had less than 15,000 miles. AAA changed battery, gave me battery printout and receipt. I went to O'Donnells and they got back to me 2 weeks later. Said they needed the battery. I called AAA and the battery was recycled. Why didn't Carlos or Eric tell me they would need the battery? AAA said all I needed was the printout and receipt.

I went in with my corvette that had been making weird engine noises for a while and because i was having a hard time getting the car into 1st gear. I had taken the car previously to other dealerships but they were not able to fix either problem. Luckily the technicians at Santa Monica Chevy were able to find and fix the problem on their first try and did so in only 4 days. Needless to say I was pleased with their service and their price as well.

I took my 2004 Corvette Z06 CE in for service based on recommendations I found on Corvette web sites and based on the fact that my daughter recently purchased a new Tahoe from the same dealership. I wasn't disappointed.
My car has 3k miles, is kept covered in the garage, and still has the new car smell. Essentially, it's still a new car and I intend to keep it that way. Showcase returned my car in pristine condition and looking as good as it did going in.
Alvin/Steve (service reps) have excellent communication skills. They kept in touch about the status of my car and took the time to answer all my questions, especially since I took it in the day the dealer warranty was to run out. I wanted everything checked and rechecked to make sure there were no warranty items that would be overlooked and where the cost would come out of my pocket if I had to fix them in the future.
The maintenance required at this time was called Maintenance II(oil change/inspection) and adjusting the handbrake. Also, GM had a free air filter parts/installation that was included due to the recent fires in Souther California. It was much appreciated because there was so much ash in the air for so many days.
In addition, based on my readings of Corvette web sites, it was recommended that the brake fluid be changed every two years. Alvin had my brake fluid tested and it was determined that it contained no air bubbles and looked to be in fine condition. This fact was documented on my paperwork and initialed by Alvin. There was not charge for their testing and I saved close to $100.
While I was waiting for my car, I also spoke with the finance manager (sorry, can't remember her name) who took her time to explain the different options available regarding extended warranties.
When I was checking out, I received a $10 off gift card which was partially applied to my initial service and the remainder to be applied to my next service. The cashier/receptionist was also very friendly and helpful (sorry, can't remember her name). Even the showroom salesman was cordial since I was checking out the seats of a new Corvette to see how they compared to my 2004.
While I didn't meet him, the service manager, Mr. Pattison, should be recognized for running such a fine shop.
