The sales person (Jorge Hernandez) and finance person (Frank Parto) both will not answer my inquiries about my $1,200 down payment that after 60-days still has not been applied to my loan balance. I've tried numerous times to reach out them to them both. Neither will as much as reply to me. I'm now waiting to hear back from the General Manager, Matt Smith - fingers crossed! VW America and my attorney will be my next stops if they continue to stonewall and avoid me. Be careful dealing with Mossy; they're great when you're giving them the money; not so good when they owe you anything. They've been unresponsive and unhelpful with these needs.

Outstanding experience with Herman Cook! Let me start by shouting out JoJo our sales associate and her finance manager Linda. We didn't know either of them when we bought a used RAV4. But after that amazing experience (they trusted us to hold the car while we drove five hours to go get it!) we knew we wanted to lease our Tiguan from them. In this day and age, customer service is, at best, an 8 out of 10. But JoJo and Linda gave us 10 out of 10 and we couldn't be more pleased! Who doesn't loathe buying a car? Well with JoJo and Linda it was stress-free and dare I say "easy"! If you want to be treated like you have brains, like you might be intelligent and even savvy and that your time is super valuable-- go to Herman Cook VW. And, oh, btw, they have great inventory-- who doesn't love a VW? :) Thank you thank you! Can't wait for three years to be up so we can lease another Tiguan from y'all!

Do not use this dealership! My husband and I walked in found the car we wanted to purchase and because we mentioned cash they seem fine until we got into the office. Not only did they tell us the discount rate was for lease/loan options but took a car from costing 15,000 to up to over 20,000. Unbelieveable!

Don't get fooled by the smiles and red carpet when buying a car there, because if at some point your interests as a customer do not align with their business needs they will not go the extra mile they go for when making money out of your pocket. I bought a 2014 VW Tiguan R-Line end of 2014, before the VW scandal...obviously while my car was not diesel , the VW scandal affected my car value now that i want to sell it out as i am moving out of the country. I went back recently to the dealer asking if they could re-buy my car , they declined buying the car i bought from them 2 years ago and suggested me I go to carmax as they already have enough inventory...i get it, but as they get creative to buy your used car when you are going to buy a new car from them it seems that when this is not the case their creativity gets dry and they ditch you as customer...think twice about buying with them because they will only cater to their needs and selfishness

Service history on my new beetle in this dealer: $800 to fix airbag indicator yellow light. The light came back two weeks later and it was not under the work warrant because it was not the same problem. $500 to replace transmission seal but still see slow leaking one month after the repair work. More scatches on dash covers , steer wheel and door panels after each oil change (new interior became worn interior after oil changes). Oil level extremely low (no oil on dip stick) one week after oil change at one time. After an oil change, radio (both AM and FM) recieves no signal and make very load noise. Service advisor comment: It is normal for VW in this area, Escondido, CA. Somehow, It gets signal again four years later after a battery change in Murriata VW dealer, CA.
