John was very efficient and took great care of my car. - Dodgerfan
I brought my Avalon in for its one year maintenance service. John Flanagan took great care of both me and my car. He checked me in and then arranged for a Lyft ride for me to go shopping while my car was being worked on. When my car was ready he called to let me know and arranged for a ride back to the dealership.

Attention to detail and a personalized touch. - Csmall805
We arrived to the Ventura Toyota without a clear choice of vehicle, only with a sense that we wanted a Toyota. Efrain was able to walk us through several choices and was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of his time. We went through several choices of car and was able to test drive a few before making my choice, Efrain was calm and ensured we had all the information available and got us a great deal. Would recommend Efrain to anyone who is not sure what they need and only needs more info and a gentle 'push'. When we bought the car Efrain got it washed and filled the tank, an extra personalized care to sweeten the deal. Thank you!
Dealership=STEALERship - Izza
Came in yesterday afternoon with my sister.
We don't have appointment, we just want to check out the cars and deals that they have.
Right when we walked in Morry greeted us and asked us what car are we looking for.
I told him the specifically what I want and I was able to test drive it.
In the beginning everything went smooth.
When we start discussing about the price of the car Morry totally change his attitude to us.
Im planing to trade my car and I mentioned them how much my mileage in my car. Morry asked for my car keys to check the VIN# of my car and to check my mileage.
He came back to us and showed us paper with numbers. I have strict budget and I'm not going to change my mind with the price that I want.
Morry insulted me saying "you can't afford the car you want", in my head I'm like "boy you don't know who your talking too!"
He asked for my credit card and I gave him my Amex card.
He left our table and talked to his boss, then his boss came to us saying we have to be flexible, and I was.
I told them NO and I want my keys and credit card back!
They both left and Morry will get my stuff.
A manager name Jim talked to us saying that the price that I want is impossible so my sister and I told them THEN GIVE ME MY KEYS AND MY CREDIT CARD NOW! We don't want the car!
Jim and Morry left the table AGAIN they said they will give me my stuff.
Another guy came in our table saying "please give me 10secs"
And we said NO! Give me my stuff!
The 4th guy that we talked too, he finally gave us my keys and card.
HOWEVER! When we are walking outside this 4th guy was waiting for us. But we told him to give me my papers that I signed!
My sister walked inside with him to get my papers, then my sister found out that MORRY STOLE my CAR REGISTRATION!!
I was in the car and my engine is on and I'm ready to go. When my sister told me that they have my CAR REGISTRATION I got really mad so I turn off the engine and I walked towards Morry I told him "I gave you my keys to check for VIN # and mileage BUT you are not allowed to touch my stuff and steal from me!" I was standing in front of him for 10secs and he couldn't say anything!
I went back to my car and when we are about to leave Morry knocked on my window saying "I've been nice to you and this is what I'm gonna get?"
I told him "STEALING IS NOT NICE!"
What if I actually left the building and I get pulled over ? Then I'm in trouble right?!
Seriously why would you take my car registration without my permission?!
They held us hostage, they harassed us, they don't want to give me my stuff and stole my car registration!
And they didn't apologize!
It sucks I didn't get a chance to take a video.
I will NEVER come back and I DO NOT recommend this place!
They will insult you, they will give you a headache, they are very SHADEY, RUDE, and INCONSIDERATE!
Please don't give them your credit card and your driver license, bring a copy of your driver license with you.
I just wish I can put a 0 star in here.
First buying experience will probably end up my worst - Dknight
About 6 months ago, I found a Subaru I wanted at this place so I went in to make the purchase. The sales rep we had was actually nice and relaxed (Jose Leon, super nice guy) but once we went inside the sales team leader (Richard Abboudd) was absolutely terrible. He talked really fast and was acting very manipulative, completely overwhelming me, my mom and even Jose. When he brought out the numbers, there were multiple high dollar charges he tried to sneak under my nose (engravings on the window, maintenance agreement, key scratch guard, xxxx I didn’t need), AND HE KEPT TRYING. He would come back with the charges gone, but would add a super high increase on the interest percentage and vise versa. (I should have just left right then...)
I purchased the vehicle and left the lot semi happy with the price I got it for. Not even a mile down the road, the check engine light comes on. Awesome..
I took it back immediately and they said “oh it’s nothing”, and literally just reset the light. I had to take it back 6 TIMES over the course of 2 and a half months or more, and they were never able to fix it. The car was even sent to Subaru twice and they also said they couldn’t fix it. (It was an electrical problem, multiple sensors kept going out). I met the sales manager (Drew Holbrook) and he said “If we can’t fix it one more time, we will take the car back from you.” He was super nice and understanding at first. He wanted to “help me out and make it right”.
Of course the light came on 2 days later. So I took it back, and guess what, the manager Drew proceeded to ignore me for about 2 weeks no matter how hard I tried to see him. Finally I went in and spotted him hanging by the coffee. (Got you now!)
Drew literally said, “I know we sold you this car which seems to have faulty sensors and electrical problems, but you drove off the lot with it, it’s yours. So the best we can do is a trade-in”... ARE YOU JOKING??? I’m about to loose a ton of money. I would have completely lost the $5000 down payment I made, as well as have to now owe $6000 on my financial loan. I was blown away by his response. Ya, I drove it off the lot, but the xxxx check engine light IMMEDIATELY came on, AND this was a certified vehicle!! He didn’t care. He was not budging.
We left in a rage, trying to look at legal aspects, but decided that wasn’t the route we wanted to take if we could avoid it. We went back to try to spark a better deal and I ended up getting a used Camry with a good warranty thrown in without loosing too much on the TRADE-IN I had to make.. xxxxxxxx.. If I would have just come in and purchased the Camry with the $5000 down payment I had, my payments on the car would be lower. So I still lost a lot of money after all said and done. The only reason I decided to take the Camry was because of the good warranty they decided to throw in. (Could have still been a better warranty but I was so tired of fighting)
Oh and it also took them 3 months to finally take the Subaru off my name at the dmv so that was also a hassle. Luckily, the Camry has been running good with little to no problems. And I’m very happy with it.
Just when I thought the hurt was over, the other day I wanted to use the coupon I got for “first maintenance visit 50% off”, so after my first 7,500 miles or whatever I go to schedule my maintenance. But guess what? They put a 60 day expiration on it.
Oh, so you just do that so no one can ever really take advantage of this offer because no one is driving that much in 60 days..(They wanted to charge me $160 for oil and tire rotation).
I hope I never have to go back to that place ever again...
Frontier Toyota is Awesome!!!! - Brian W
A HUGE THANK YOU to Jeff Johnson for an amazing car buying experience. I highly recommend doing business with them. I bought a 2018 Toyota Tundra and found Jeff gave the best price and straightforward, no pressure transaction. I Internet shopped 52 dealers and Jeff's attentiveness and professionalism was above and beyond all the other dealers. The in dealership experience was no different. Absolutely amazing and refreshing. No pressure and no expectations. The flight from Capitola to Valencia was more than worth it!
Horrible Experience on New Car purchase and Service - 4RunnerRosie
I specifically asked the sales person if toyota provides loaners when the car is in service as this is very important to me. Ladin Hyundai did every time I brought the car in and I didnt even buy the car from them. He stated that they did. I started having problems with the car immediately (like I couldnt even drive it home) so I was given a loaner off their used car lot. They fixed the initial problem and then two weeks later the car fails AGAIN this time because rats allegedy chewed wires causing $1260 worth of damage. Not covered under warranty (including all those extra warranty contracts they sell you), I had to submit to my insurance company and I have a 1000 deductible. Note the pre delivery report was signed off in August so that car sat there until October and no one inspected it again before it was sold to me. No loaner car was offered and they took two weeks to fix the problem. I will never do business with them again
