Happy Customers! - Thomas Barrett
Despite reading all these negative reviews (some even entered twice) I decided to give this Dealership a chance, as they had the car we desired at the price we were able to pay. In fact we were so committed to purchasing this vehicle after several phone calls with Greg, we drove 3 hours from S.F. to Sacramento. Our original fears were totally unfounded. When we arrived we were greeted by Greg, (who was like a long lost relative you know very little about but the connection is there) who then introduced us to John, who walked us through the process of test-driving and purchasing. John's calm demeanor was nice to experience, as it relieved the stress associated with a car purchase. He was there to serve our needs, not to sell us anything. Then we were greeted by Damien the finance manager, whose matter of fact way of systematically preparing and executing all the required paperwork made the process quick and stressless. After completion of the paperwork, John had our car ready to go. We couldn't have been more pleased with the sales team and support staff of Sacramento Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I would like to thank Greg, John and Damien for all their assistance and help. This morning we are extremely satisfied customers as we look out upon our new car, which wouldn't have been possible without Greg's help. I would like the New Owners of this dealership to know how pleased we are. I highly recommend this dealership and hope their Memorial Day Sale makes for many happy customers. Again, my gratitude to Greg who without his help, we would not be smiling customers this morning!

Do not hire salesman from the city - krjoy
First and foremost we have bought 5 cars from them and my son just purchased his first car on his own from them as well. We have been going there for years. Last Saturday 11/10/2018 My father and I went down to look at a car and happened upon one we were not expecting. I took it for e test drive and the salesman asked if he could run the numbers. We said sure. We let him know that we would go home and think about and get back to him. Being he is a young guy from Roseville I texted and left him a voicemail. with our offer which was $500 off the price and $1500 down. He said he talked to his boss and he said no. 4 days later.....4 days later the car just dropped $200!!! So, you can't give any type of deal to a family who has bought 6 cars from you, but 4 days later you'll drop the price on your own???
I honestly think the salesman was thinking about his commission and not the people that live in the community.Very disappointed with Hoblit Dodge in Woodland CA.
Intradepartment communications issues, poor scheduling - JimDodge2010
Customer Service – NOT!
Full disclosure: I am not a regular service customer nor have I purchased a vehicle from AutoNation.
In summary: from my experience twice it appears the Service Department has a significant communications disconnect between customers (at least this one), their service writers, and the mechanics. It is also unknown to me whether or not AutoNation puts its regular customers or those who have purchased vehicles from them ahead of Chrysler Corp customers who need safety recall work done.
On July 5 I had scheduled a 7:30AM appointment to have corrective action taken for a safety recall on my Dodge RAM 1500 fuel tank bracket. Sometime mid afternoon the service writer called me to advise that the work could not be accomplished that day due to work spill-over from the previous work day. I told him that was entirely unacceptable as it interfered with plans made for a trailer trip.
I rescheduled the appointment for 8:00 AM July 18.
Yesterday, the 18th, I had my vehicle in the service queue at the appointed time. Not until late afternoon did the service writer call me to advise that (1) the work had not been started yet and that AutoNation would need to keep the vehicle overnight. (To his credit he comp’ed me a rental at Enterprise for my inconvenience.)
Mid-morning, today, July 19, I called to inquire re the status of the recall repairs and had to leave a message. Hearing nothing an hour later I again called to learn that the service writer was unavailable and I asked to speak with the service manager, who was also unavailable. Leaving a message for him, I still heard nothing by mid afternoon. I called yet again and was advised that the service writer was physically checking the status. He called shortly thereafter to advise that the work order >was still sitting on his desk< and that the work had yet to be started. I advised him to hold any work and that I would be over to retrieve my vehicle.
I have worked in customer service and know what can be done to facilitate that operative word “service.” AutoNation would be well advised to focus on communications with its customers as that would have gone a long way with me.
At this point I don’t think I can trust the AutoNation Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge service department to take care of the safety recall for my vehicle.
Zero cust. Satisfaction rude GM and internet mgr. - Mikenjade7
If i could give negative zero stars i would. The texting back and forth in the begining was good and courteous. I was wanting a new 2019 dodge charge GT and was using my 2004 gmc 2500hd crew cab pickup as a down payment. (I asked four times what they were giving me for my trade in with no answers from salesmen) i had told them what my 1st preference was and he comes back with an approval for a challenger (which isaid i would be interested in as well) but tje bank wants $900 down on top of my trade in value or $1200 down for the charger ( mind you the charger is $450 more then the challenger thats it ) so i told him i dont want to pay that much out of pocket. Then he comes back with $450 down on the challenger and says they can hold a check for 2 weeks to help me out. I ask if he can hold the check for 3 weeks and he says no its corporate policy for 2 week hold. I thought about it and told him i dont want to settle just to have a new car if its not what i want and im not desperate. Then his attitude changes saying...settle? You said you would take any of the two and goes on saying if i would have known that i wouldnt have spent hours and even days getting you apporoved and wasting my time (um isnt that your job to do that?) So i say i only want the charger so if you can get the down to $750 i will buy it tonight. The next day he texts me saying you cant get the charger at all now because my credit wont allow it and i should just get the challenger to help my credit to get the charger one day. So i asked what changed from the day before when the charger was on the table for $1200 down? No answer...so i email the internet manger and tell her my issues and she emails me back saying the down on the charger is $3500 but she can hold a check for 3 weeks (what happened to corporate policy of 2 week hold?) And why did the down go up to $3500? No answer again ..the GM called me and he left a message woth no call back number to reach him at and it was as short and arrogant a message ive heard from a GM..he goes this is so and so calling you back um yeah talk to you later ..thats it no apologies or any mention of trying to reftify the situation..if you want the run around and contradicting information then this is the place for you..customer satisfaction is not in there vocabulary and it should be their number one priority. Buy at your own risk .
Excellent Customer Service - 2016SXLowners
We had a difficult time deciding between the Kia Optima we purchased and another make/model. The salesman, Thomas May, was very understanding about our decision making process, and didn't rush us through it. He didn't force a different year or options package on us just because they had one on their lot as many dealers do. Thomas was very knowledgeable and patient with us, which was one of the reasons we drove over an hour back to Swift instead of a closer dealership. Every employee we dealt with was great. Price was right too of course.
