My husband is also self employeed so it was a very tough situation. They were friendly through the whole process and I would recommend them to everyone.

The dealership left me with a great vehicle, and a great experience. The car I recently bought-2012 Volkswagen is an amazing car and the entire process to get it was not only quick and easy... but the salesmen, whom we worked with were very friendly, knowledgeable, and made it very aware of what we were signing and getting. Highly recommend coming here. The prices of vehicles on lot are very fair as well. Would come back again when in search for a new car.

The dealership manager was unwilling to negotiate a fair price. Vehicle was $1500 over other TBirds with same mileage and condition.
Manager came down $1000.00. Stated that they were not making enough on this vehicle. Refuse to negotiate the $500.00 difference.
Cadillac Escalade Vandalized at this Dealership - ec1
I wanted to buy a Cadillac Escalade from this dealer in October 2019 at the time, it was Doug's Cadillac, but the salesman was not very helpful. So, I went and bought a 2015 Cadillac Escalade Premium with very low mileage in excellent condition, very nice, from another dealer. The same salesman from Brotherton Cadillac NW called me later wanted to find out if I got a car, and I told him yes. Not long later I got a card in the mail from this dealership to bring my car in for a brake vacuum recall. I brought it to them, 30 minutes later they told me the car was ready. Right after I drove home, which took me about 15 minutes, I noticed scratches on the bottom inside panel of the driver's door. I found scratches on the rear bumper, on the inside panel of the rear driver's side door, on the back of the center console, on both the inside panels of the right and left pillars, on the outside of the driver's door window. I found a major gouge and various scratches and dings on the inside panel of the rear door. I found several major scratches on the top rear of the vehicle. The evil person who did these damages make them look like wear and tear, but the problem is none of these damages existed at the time I dropped off the vehicle. I purchased it specifically because it was in excellent condition, and for the four months I own it, it had been in the same condition right up until after these guys worked on it. I went back the same day to report the issue to the general manager, but he didn't believe me. I reported it to the Police as vandalism a couple days later, but they told me they couldn't help because I waited, and that I should have done it the same day. Whatever their motive, it is wrong and unacceptable. These guys are giving a bad reputation to the Cadillac brand. I would not suggest anyone to take their car to them for service especially if you didn't buy from them. They are evil and not to be trusted at all.

Wouldn't let me test drive the vehicle - Rootbeer
This dealer is a waste of time and a joke. I went in there looking for a late model suburban they had one that MSRP that 43,000 and they would not let me test drive it unless I had approved financing or had an accepted offer on the vehicle. How are you supposed to sell vehicles if the customers can't drive them? I have full coverage and offered my insurance information but they said the car was too expensive for me to test drive.

Buying a car can be stressful; researching, finding the best price, finding the deals and promotions, and dealing with sales person who wants to maximize their profit with all the numbers thrown at you.
I can't say that for the salesperson, Radar Seahawks, I had pleasure working with at Carter Acura in Lynnwood. Of course, I have done the research, communicated prior to stopping by the do test drive and do the paper work, which made process bit faster.
We arrived to the dealership around 5 PM, which was about an hour before closure. We view the inventory and, test drive the car then got into numbers and paperwork.
There are definitely vultures and pirates out there who just want to sell, sell, sell instead making the personal connection.
Working with Radar felt more like working with a friend or person you knew who will try their best to work with you rather than just sell you a product and get you out the door with the invoice.
I am grateful to had a Radar as my salesperson and not other sales person.
So, if you in the market for new car in puget sound area and you are thinking Acura, please do a bit of research and contact Radar at Carter Acura of Lynnwood.
P.S He speaks Cambodian as well.
Great! - stevert55
Thanks to 405 motors for another great, no pressure, no haggle car buying experience.
They've come along ways since we purchased our first vehicle from them 12 years ago.
They now operate from a comfortable office and a roomy, paved lot.
As before, customers are allowed to roam the lot and inspect the numerous, unlocked vehicles available for purchase. The year, mileage and price of the vehicle is prominently displayed on the windshield helping make the selection process quick and easy.
We decided to test drive an Acura MDX. It was brought to the front of the office by a lot attendant. We were then allowed to take the vehicle for a test drive without the presence of a 405 employee. Very trusting.
Once we decided to purchase the vehicle the transaction was relatively easy. This included being given a fair price for our trade-in. We were also offered a number of add-ons that we declined with no pressure. We did, however, decide to purchase an extended vehicle warranty that was made more reasonable with a Costco discount.
We were able to drive home the vehicle even though we did not have the title to our trade-in vehicle and needed a couple of days to transfer money into our checking account. They were also agreeable to adding some additional fuel to the tank.
Thanks to Ken, Tessa and the rest of the staff at 405 motors for a great, no pressure, no haggle car buying experience. Give em a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Bought a beautiful bmw from these scam artists, had issues the minute I drove away. Chech engine light, electrical, power failure while driving, the list goes on and on. After getting more than 49 fault codes from an actual mechanic that know what the f*** ,he is doing. Tather than their uneducated clowns in the back.
FYI: check with the department of licensing public records and ask for copies of all the paperwork the dealer sent in. Perhaps you are going to find that paperwork that you have a copy of (like the original purchase copies)
Maybe signatures or boxes or even names? Dont match exactly like the ones you have a copy of.

Doug’s Credit Center is the WORST!!! Avoid at all... - lyndsie1996
Doug’s Credit Center is the WORST!!! Avoid at all costs!!!! I came into their dealership in October, looking to trade in my car. I was originally working with Lilly and Mohammed who took my keys, and gave me a quote. I ended up needing a co-signer but they said my friend only needed to be on my loan for 3 months, then my name would automatically become the primary. The next day, my friend came in with me to sign papers with Melissa to get for the trade in. She confirmed the promises the day before would be honored. We left my car in the lot and took the new car home. The car was plated and registered and I made my first payment as scheduled. I then started to receive calls from my old loan company saying that I needed to make a payment. I proceeded to explain that I traded in my car at Doug’s Credit Center and that my loan with them was already taken care of, so they continued to call Doug’s to see what was going on because they never contacted them about the trade. They continued to call and then repo’d my old car. I called Doug’s to talk to someone about it and the person there said to not worry about it. He gave me a number to call and get set up with a credit repair company who would quickly take it completely off my credit. He said he did the same thing years ago and the credit place repaired his credit with no effort on his part. I was irritated that my old car was never traded in like it was supposed to and now had a repo/the $7,000+ owed from it on my credit. I now didn’t have a choice but to pay for a service to get that “quickly taken off my credit”. In mid December, I got a call from the new loan company saying that they found out I am the primary driver of the new vehicle, not my friend who signed with me. They told me that I was never put on the loan and they needed to try again to change it to her being the co-signer with me as the primary on a loan from them. A couple days later, I received a call from Melissa saying that the loan was canceled and that I needed to bring the car back. I came in that evening to talk to her and she said she’d look into other places that would give me another loan. She said she would let me know by Saturday if someone was willing to be my new lender and that if she can’t find one, my friend would need to come in to sign “buyback papers” and have the new car returned. During this time, Melissa denied everything I was promised. She said she had no idea what we were talking about and that I was never promised any of the above. I talked to a friend who works in the car industry to get some advice and learned that what the employees at Doug’s did was completely illegal (straw purchase) and what we were told about the “3 month automatic loan switch” does not exist even though Mohammed said they do it “all the time for customers like me who come in with bad credit and in need of a car loan.” Doug’s put me in a awful position. If I brought the new car back, Doug’s now wouldn’t have my old car to give back to me because they never processed the trade. I’d be left with no car, a repo/$7000+ on my credit, and would be out the money used for the car payment I made to that new loan company. My employer, friends, family and I received multiple nasty calls and threats. A tow truck showed up at my parents’ house attempting to find my new car there to take to to Doug’s. But they had zero right- the car was already plated and registered. They legally had no ties to the car- they didn’t own it anymore and to the state- we were the owners. My friend in the car business did a lot of work to contact managers/my past/new loan company/Doug’s, etc. I have calls and texts recorded of threats made. I have a recorded call of MELISSA calling my friend a slut, swearing at her, denying what they said, etc. All of the employees will LIE straight to your face. They only care about your money and will do literally ANYTHING to get you to sign that piece of paper. Even if that means trying to get away with illegal things.
