I drove an hour to the store from home yesterday 03/16/20 with my approval letter of auto loan from Bank of America, i choose the car and I presented my letter to the dealer. They did not accept my approval letter becasue they were trying to give me their own auto loan, I repeated 3 times I want to use my BOA auto loan and they told me my loan was declined (BOA confirm the loan is still ok), thye showed me a kind of fake paper where its said declined. I asked them to show me the rates and interest, but they said they can not show me that until I.m approved by them and the approval is after I signed for the car. Also they requested me for money down but I insist to use my BOA loan. Manager was so nasty, becasue he did not let me to talk, he just asked me to sign their papers and put money down. At the end they wanted to charge me 3000 extra dollars witht he "new" deal. I just left the office very angry and disappointed. I mada a formal claim to BOA becasue they work with them, but this dealer do not want the money from the bank, they want their own business and they do not car if you pay more or not.
